I was so blessed to have found her (she was referred to me from another estate sales woman who couldn't do the job). Carol had another job coming up, so we agreed she would do all the prep work for my mom's estate, but could not hold the actual sale until she completed the other job. She worked over three weeks on the prep--put in so much effort and detail into preparing for the sale, researching, dialoguing with me about specific items, and bringing in a team to make sure the townhome was clean and inviting. Even though the prep work on her other job would start the following week, she managed to hold the sale for my mom's estate the weekend before. She didn't want me to have to wait. I know she was exhausted. Carol organized my mom's things beautifully, labelled many of them, took amazing photos, and promoted the sale online and in the local paper. Plus she brought in some of her previous customers. The results were amazing--almost three times what I had expected, and the percentage she took for the huge amount of work she did, was more than fair. I really appreciated the stories she shared with me after the sale from people who were there who knew my mom, or those who appreciated items she and my dad had bought overseas. Carol is so nice, compassionate, easy to talk to, and was so sensitive to my own grieving process. She treated my mom's belongings like treasures, not just things. She made what could have been an incredibly stressful job, so much easier. For that, I am so grateful to her. I highly recommend Carol and her expert services.

Carol was professional in every step of the process and treated Mom's belongings like special treasures. You can trust Carol and her team to beautifully organize and also research the value of discovered treasures. The prep work that Carol completed prior to the actual sale was exhaustive and way beyond what I had expected. Most importantly, I was completely confident in trusting Carol to work alone and prepare for the sale. Carol did an excellent job with advertising, and the results were amazing! I highly recommend Carol and Heavenly Country Estate Sales!

After unsuccessfully trying to sell the home with another realtor, we decided to consider Abby as our listing agent. They generally deal in many tons at a time but it sure is nice that they will deal with mid-sized pickup bed sized loads. I guess their main business is asphalt but you can take a truck into the plant and a massive loader will scoop up rock and aggregate by the ton and dump it in your bed. They weigh you coming in and out to see how much you are taking. There is a tray by the door of the office so you can see the different types of rock and aggregate they offer. You tell the guys what you want and they'll direct you from there. This is fill/construction material though so don't go there looking for some fancy decorative river rock! I picked up some stuff they said was mostly used for road base. The bit that got loaded into my truck (out of a mountain of material) seemed to be left over stuff from a concrete pour -- it still had some wet concrete mixed in, which was fine with me. Some of the other stuff they have is probably a bit more clean/washed and more expensive. This road base worked great for my purpose as fill for a dry-stack retaining wall.

I changed insurance and the insurance company wanted a copy of the receipt so that I could get a new roof discount, but they wanted a more detailed and professionally filled out receipt. I contacted the owner who said that he would reaccomplish the receipt and to remind him on the following day. On the next day I texted the owner as requested and I received no response. Several days went by and I texted him several times but no response. Due to this problem with the receipt I am unable to receive a new roof discount. I do not recommend the use of this roofing company. If you choose to contract with them I would be certain that the receipt contains all of the required information before making payment.

The Californian (and the rest of the Three Rivers apartments, really) seem to be some of the best -actual- apartments in Nacogdoches. (The Grove and Lumberjack Lofts are honestly just dorms anyway.) Anyway, once upon a time, my girlfriend and I were moving out of our old (terribly managed) apartments. We came to the Californian, and while our initial plan to get one of the bungalows fell through, the management went out of their way to help us get a place of our own (a two-bedroom town home with washer and dryer included) that matched our needs and price range, almost two years later and we're still very happy with where we are. The management has always been friendly and helpful, and the maintenance team have some of the fastest response times I've seen.
