My experience at EquityTeam blew my the other experiences (which were good experiences!) out of the water. John returned my online inquiry within about 15 minutes. He was personable and easy to talk to. I had a hundred questions and explained everything was new to me. He answered everything in detail; you just get the sense from talking to him that he's an expert in his field. ET is local, which is huge for us. Some of the other companies are regional with offices in Michigan. We worked with John through the on-boarding process. He is awesome to work with. Always ahead of the problem. He had the house up and listed quickly and the property was rented within a couple of weeks. The high-level of service hasn't stopped there. John is available to answer all of my questions (I'm still new... so I still have a ton) and provides the same helpful detail that he did when I was still shopping for management companies. I honestly couldn't think of a better scenario if I tried. Simply exceptional managerial work from top to bottom for about 5 months now.

Andrea decided the first day we spoke that I as a single mother would not be leasing a home, she made disparaging comments about me being the only one on the application and blamed decisions she made on John when questioned and refused to answer simple questions regarding the leasing criteria and denied my application. It seems she has no oversight on approvals and denials and it is all decided at her bias. John played completely clueless and neither of them responded to my questions. This is my second time working with this company and I do not advise it.i have heard that even the homeowners as well as residents renting from them have a very difficult time getting ahold of anyone... Update: As of this morning 10/22/25 immediately after my public review I have received a private response that is still wildly inaccurate and lacking proper documentation. After reviewing several other 1 Star reviews left for this company I have begun the process of filing a Housing Discrimination Charge Against the registered entity INVESTOR SUPPORT SERVICES LLC via https://cms.civ.ohio.gov/WebForm/UnityForm and I encourage all others who have faced similar challenges with this company to do the same.

RPM was the only rental agency to actually contact me back, and they reached out to me in less than a day after sending my initial inquiry. Rental Agent Bonnie Louis did a great job in finding the time to show us the house and to work out the details of the lease within the necessary timeframe. And, it's a beautiful house in a fantastic subdivision too! I've had to use RPM's online maintenance request portal just one time due to a furnace issue, and the response time and follow-up to the problem was fantastic. No more dealing with landlords who ignore problems and take weeks to fix things. A furnace repairman was there within hours. Good job RPM Midwest team!

Hey, I live in a Sundance rental in Vandalia Ohio. My apartment complex lady let my upstairs…read moreneighbors toilet waste water run into my ceiling till it exploded and nobody fixed it for 4 days. I lived in a human biohazard and they let strangers break into your complex's and smoke and trash the washer and dryer so your clothes smell like drugs. OH and You have to clean it all up even if it's your neighbors poop in your home. Also they let tenants own dogs that make all 4 apartments smell like dog urine and they let that same man abuse the dog on the patio for all to see. Also their contractors left trash all over the property and I sent pictures to my apartment lady asking to please not make me clean it up and she decided to rip up my entire garden because it's "against the rules," when 5 other apartments have gardens and it's not an issue. I've had this garden for 5 month and it wasn't a problem till I asked her to not make me clean up her mess. Their maintenance man broke into my house 5 times without permission as well while I was sleeping after 3rd shift as a 20 year old girl. DONT NOT RENT FROM SUNDANCE RENTALS, where they treat humans like feral rats. This is my first amendment right. Below is photos of the fecal water and keep in mind my apartment was trashed many times to fix it and mud and dry was left in my kitchen fishers and across all my carpet and personal belongings :) Also the patio my apartment ripped up as a petty way to hurt me when I ask her to pick up her mess that I was sick of cleaning. - it's started as $900 and after 3 months they charged us all and extra $100 a month to pay for the "shared common room" also you have to pay for all laundry costs and they won't tell you that till you sell your soul to them. -$3,800 to leave if you can't fulfill lease for 1 year - $300 deposit for a cat and $35 a month after but they will get you to make a pet profile for $50 then gaslight you into saying you didn't need to and they can't refund you -money hungry middle aged woman is the only person you can talk to with issues and if she doesn't like you she will just destroy your personal stuff because she finds joy in it :) or break into your apartment at 5:00pm while you're showering when they said inspection is done at 5pm.

It takes a pretty evil company to make a recent widow, choose between paying rent and getting her husband cremated. Their their baseline as a company is pretty bad and involves greed, but torturing a recent widow is a new low for them.
