Veggie flatbread (vegan) and hand cut fries

We absolutely love this place as a family to spend our Sunday afternoons. It's so clean and spacious. The kids always have so much fun playing in the playground. Today we went and they had laser tag, it's was awesome. We've been going since they 1st opened and continue to do so because it's truly so nice. The service is very friendly and always willing to help make your experience better any way they can. The food is delicious! I was so glad to see they brought back the veggie flatbread since I'm plant-based. It was 10/10 and their hand cut fries are hands down the BEST! Always perfectly seasoned. My husband had the chicken sandwich and my kids the chicken tenders which comes with fries and an honest juice box. If you've never been highly recommend you do. Best of all is there's no fee to get in. They also have any family friendly events through out the year.

The Heritage Market is a charming destination that showcases the region's rich agricultural heritage. The market is a must-visit for foodies, nature lovers, and anyone seeking an authentic South Florida experience. The place offers locally grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs, ensuring freshness and quality. Explore the market's artisanal vendors offering handmade crafts, baked goods, and specialty items. The market's relaxed atmosphere and picnic areas makes this place an ideal spot for family outings. The food taste great and the ingredients are locally grown. The menu is limited to soup, salad sandwiches and baked items. During our visit we also explored the outside where you can find all types of grown vegetables and more.

Went to Heritage Market for Sunday brunch with a friend. And all I can say is wow! I had no idea there was a place like this in/near Homestead. I have so much to say, so I will try and break up my review to. Location: Heritage market is located off of Krome and is quite large. Theres plenty of parking available. However, you may need to park in a grassy area if it is packed. Outside, there was plenty of grassy areas for kids to run around and play in. There was a covered pavilion with plenty of seating and if I remember correctly a sidewalk leading to the pavilion. At the pavilion there was also a little food truck with selling milkshakes. Right outside of the building there is also covered seating available. There are a few steps to get into the market to order meals. However there was a large ramp available to increase accessibility. Outside there is a butterfly garden, ping pong table, fruit picking, and wildflower picking available based on availability and the season. Inside there is 1st floor and second floor seating. The space is quite large however between the local goods and food ordering areas it can get crowded during busy times. There were lots of families with little kids. I did notice a few families needing to carry strollers and high chairs up the stairs to the second floor area which can be a bit tough however, the staircase was spacious and staff seemed willing to help as needed. Staff: All the staff I interacted with were very kind and hardworking. Anytime a table was cleared. They were right on it to make sure everything was cleaned for the next people. Food: the Sunday brunch menu is limited and from my understanding stays pretty constant. However, they have a decent selection of everyday items and bakery items as well. As a vegetarian I had a few items to choose from and was happy with the options. I don't think there were many vegan options available on the brunch menu besides home fries. There are a few options on the main menu, but I recommend double checking with the staff if you follow a vegan diet, regarding ingredients because I got the portabella sandwich which was absolutely delicious however, I believe there was a dairy based spread. The pancakes were delicious as well, nice and fluffy. Plus there were plenty of jams and local honey samples to try! I really enjoyed the jam selection however, I do wish they had smaller jars available for purchase. I think the only thing I was not a fan of was the drinks were prepared and placed at the counter way prior to the food being prepared. And there were no buzzers and staff didn't seem to call out order numbers until the entire tray of food was prepared so our drinks with no lids were sitting at the counter for 15+ minutes without us knowing. People would be walking over that area to retrieve their food/utensils/etc. Extras: The market had plenty of local goods and crafts available from artwork, plants, body care items, food, to decor pieces. There even was a little lending library full of books for individuals of all ages/reading levels. I really liked how the heritage market supports local vendors not only within the market but with their monthly events. Be sure to follow them on social media to keep up with all they have to offer (workshops and vendor markets). My favorite being the kids market to support kid owned business. How cute?! I have never seen anything like that being done at a different place but absolutely adore the idea. It's a great/safe place for kids to be able to share their creativity/hardwork.

Heritage Market is a gem for families! Fresh and delicious food, plus a warm and welcoming atmosphere. My toddler and I love picking up eggs and more here. Highly recommend for parents seeking a quick, healthy, and kid-friendly shopping experience.

Sometimes you want to get away from all the cliche "Miami-ness" and look for something different. This is it. It's quiet and peaceful. Stopped by looking for something cool to drink after a hot day at another (overly-priced overly-hyped) venue---the kind that gets packed but offer very little. Heritage Market came in as a perfect escape: lots of open space, good food choices, classes to learn about plants, and music. It has good positive vibes all around (could it be the church next door?) and the people working there are cheerful and happy -- none of that Miami attitude you find elsewhere. The grounds are well kept and modern with a bit of country flair, reminding one of the Silos/Magnolia in Waco (Chip and Joanna Gaines would approve!) Best thing is for they're supporting local and a lot of the decor pays tribute to south Florida's agricultural HERITAGE, which is sadly disappearing. Kudos to the visionaries who are keeping this alive for new generations.

October 2022. They have a VARIETY of sunflowers. Loved seeing what can grow in south Fl!

What a fun place!! We drove past on our way home and decided to make a U-turn because it looked so neat. We are so glad we did! They were setting up for a fall festival. The area is pretty big. They have a big house in the front converted into cafe/market. Towards the back they have everything from raised beds, astroturf with ping pong tables and other games + music, chicken coop, playground, and large covered area were they did an artisan market. It was great to see some of the beautiful locally produced stuff, from yummy baked goods to gorgeous embroidered things, and others. The cafe was my perfect place. Placid atmosphere, great reads about local plants, cards, local produce and what seemed like a yummy and affordable menu. I'm looking fwd to returning soon! We had to dart before trying any food

Such a cute spot close to home! You can tell that everything is fresh and made right on the spot when you order. Walking into the market, they have free samples of so many great tasting jelly's, sauces, honey, chips and popcorn! They also have all of these items for purchase and more! We tried the chicken salad pita, chicken Cesar wrap, passion fruit green tea and a honey latte. Everything was so delicious! And the lady behind the testing counter was so sweet and kind! I will definitely be back!

This is definitely a 5 star experience. Our daughter is the one that took us here. If you love chickens, pay for the feed and pay extra to get fresh eggs. I was the only customer in the chicken coup and what anuplifting time I had. I was able to get eggs right out of the chicken's butt. The employee gives you a cup of dried mealworms. I was even allowed to pick up a chicken to pet and even got to pick up Remy, the cool dude rooster. I can't say enough about them. The website tells the tale. For those that need to be enticed with beer and wine, that have it for you.

Visited Heritage Market today for the first time since their instagram was advertising a Christmas market. I was very impressed by how yummy the drinks were, how clean the place was and the customer service. We spent about 4 hours there. They had a local band playing fun music, they were serving food and drinks and also had some craft beer. They had tastings inside for local honey and jams and fresh peaches and pears. My family and I tasted the limeade and strawberry limeade. You get to choose from bubbly or flat. They make it look so pretty and the taste was delicious! Later on we also had a passion fruit paleta, made locally and a strawberry shake. We frequent some of the other farms in homestead and the strawberry shake at HM was the tastiest, made with fresh fruits and no fake syrups. We sat in the faux grassy area where families can play cornhole, ping pong and outdoor jenga. They have a small playground area for kids 2-12 as well. My favorite part is that for $5 they give you scissors and you can pick wildflowers from their flower beds towards the back of the property. Whatever you can hold in your hand. The wildflowers were so beautiful and tons of butterflies flying about. They also had sunflowers to pick at a different pricing. Tons of seating. Their apple streusel was delicious and very obvious it was homemade! We can't wait to come back!

The place is open and clean. Their milkshakes, smoothies and tea's delicious. The staff friendly and welcoming. The sandwiches are scrumptious. It's an amazing, beautiful place to go in homestead

This place is a true gem. There is plenty to do outside for kids, and a cute shop and cafe inside. We enjoyed their special of the day, a grilled chicken Cesar salad. Which may sound boring but it was one of , if not the best salad I've had. Topped with homemade croutons and flavorful chicken it was sublime. They offer fun teas, lime ades and smoothies as well as milkshakes and ice cream. Something for everyone here . There is even a little free library inside!

I can't believe it took me so long to try this place! I loved it so much, I went t back the next day for more. Order at the counter at this casual and welcoming farm-to-table Redland experience restaurant. Sit indoors (downstairs or upstairs), dine on the covered porch, or sit at a picnic table outside under the huge pole barn. Wraps, burgers, salads, daily specials, gelato, treats, fantastic iced teas, smoothies, and more! Wander the grounds and see their veggie beds, herbs, chicken coup, and enjoy live music. They even bottle honey from their bees. I can't get enough of this family friendly establishment- we need more places like this. Generations of families coming together to dine and enjoy fellowship, it's a beautiful thing. So many cool things to look at and play with. It is a REDLAND experience!

This iconic fruit stand is a true South Florida institution. From the moment you pull in, it feels like stepping into a charming, old-school roadside market bursting with color and character. Crates overflow with vibrant tropical fruits, the air smells sweet and fresh, and the whole place has that nostalgic, family-run charm you just don't find everywhere anymore. The mamey milkshake is my go-to and hands down my favorite. It's unbelievably thick, creamy, and packed with rich tropical flavor. One sip and you'll understand why it's legendary. Beyond the milkshakes, they carry incredible local honey, homemade sauces, unique jams, fresh shallots, beautiful vegetables, and perfectly ripe fruits. The exotic fruit selection alone is worth the trip. you'll discover varieties you didn't even know existed. What makes it even more special is that Robert himself is often there, still working and interacting with customers. It adds such a personal touch. Everyone on staff is genuinely kind, welcoming, and happy to answer questions or offer recommendations. Don't skip the back area, there's a small petting zoo where you can buy feed and interact with the animals, which makes it a fun stop for families and kids. It's more than just a fruit stand . it's an experience. A must-visit South Florida classic.

Robberies Are Here is more like it…read more We stopped at Robert Is Here for what should have been a fun family experience. Instead, we left with a smashed rental car window, 1,500 dollars in stolen valuables, and a ruined vacation. Our car was broken into while parked directly in front of the property -- in plain sight. We weren't even there for 15 minutes. When we asked about security camera footage that might help identify who did this, we were told the cameras don't work. Let that sink in. A high-traffic tourist destination with non-functional security cameras and apparently zero deterrent for criminals who clearly know this area is an easy target. This isn't a random isolated incident -- this is a known problem and the owners have done nothing meaningful to protect their customers. Working cameras, security presence, adequate signage warning visitors of the risk -- none of it. Just a cute fruit stand with a dangerous parking lot and zero accountability. (To be fair, the employees seemed remorseful, and gave us some trash bags and tape to cover the window.) Save yourself. Buy your fruit somewhere else. No smoothie is worth what this visit cost us.
