Love love love! I wary of getting my hair done by anywhere except my salon at home (in Indy) but I decided to try out Heritage Hair after hearing so many good reviews from friends. I called to see if they had any open appointments and was able to come in only an hour after I called. The studio is still very covid safe so you have to wear a mask while you're there and they ask you to wash your hands before coming in - very sanitary! I was greeted in the parking lot by my stylist who explained the whole process step by step. She asked me about my hair care routine/products so she could best advise me on how to get my hair the way I want it on a daily basis. All of the information and product suggestions were comforting to hear because she really knew what she was talking about and it didn't seem like she was just trying to sell me a product. (My stylist was Courtney, but all of the stylists were super friendly and sweet) I got a quick hair consult, shampoo/wash, scalp massage, diffusion, cut and style for only $33 which is insanely good pricing for any salon I've been to! The aesthetic of the studio itself is very calming and the staff are great as well. I will now recommend this studio to all of my friends who are searching for an affordable hair place they can trust to get everything right. read more

wow! I had a similar experience. It was hard to reach her and make an appointment. I wanted a cut and color, looking forward to having a new stylist. Grace canceled my appointment too! Very bad timing for me and unprofessional of her. Maybe this is how she does business. Now that I read sue o had a similar experience, I am disappointed because we all look forward to getting our hair done for special occasions. I'd be cautious to make an appointment with her again. Don't get your hair done by Grace! She's incredibly unprofessional. It took her weeks to respond to my questions, and when I made an appointment, she lied about having a family emergency to cancel with me. That's absolutely disgusting! If she didn't want to do my hair, she should have simply declined, not making me wait for weeks and canceling last minute. Now, I have my engagement party and no one to do my hair. I hope the other stylists there are not this way and unprofessional there. She ruined the most important day for me. And she blocked me after. read more

I saw Heritage listed on Google as a hair studio with great reviews and decided to book a new appointment. I can confirm that this place and their hair stylists are amazing!! Keller helped transform my hair from lighter and duller to this beautiful chocolate brown color. Additionally, she used products on my hair that fit my hair type (very fine) that made my hair sooo soft (I was in awe lol). She also explained in depth the proper methods and products that would best suit my hair type and the result I'm hoping to achieve (less damage). Wonderful location, people, experience and service! I had a relaxing time at the hair studio and I loved all of the light coming in from the windows. My stylist did a great job with my cut. She brought me coffee and good conversation. Overall exactly what I want out of a visit to the hair salon! Parking is around back for customers. They do discounts for referring people as well. I got a DevaCut by Jayme after going through a dozen stylists. I found her on the DevaCurl website. If you have curly hair, and love to wear it curly, GO! Not only did I get the best cut my hair type I have ever had, she gave step by step instructions with the products so I can keep my curls looking amazing. In addition to the amazing treatment my curls got, the customer service was perfection. I was greeted warmly as soon as I walked in and offered refreshment right away. Gwynne is an incredible master of her craft. I've struggled for years with crazy, frizzy hair that I never knew how to deal with. I did a curly cut/consult today and I'm blown away at the results. The level of service she provided is amazing. You can feel the passion she has for her profession. She is extremely knowledgeable on how to properly handle curly hair. I have been going to Lauren at Heritage for almost 2 years now. I've seen her at both the Heritage and Pendlebury locations. Both salons have a cool atmosphere and they have always welcomed me by offering something to drink. I loved going to Lauren! She always takes her time and talks me through what she is doing. I hardly ever leave reviews, and if I do they're always positive. However, I have to make an exception for this place. I am new to town, and I chose this place because of their positive reviews on here. I have been blonde for about 6 years now, and I came in to get my blonde roots touched up. I did the color consultation prior to my appointment and was supposed to get my hair done by the "blonde specialist"-- everyone was nice and all was great. However, when I had my appointment, I warned the stylist not to use purple toner on my hair, because it always turns my very light hair purple. She disregarded my warning saying that their stuff was different. As I had warned her, it put very noticeable purple splotches and streaks in my hair. Also, the blonde color of my roots were not matched to the same color hair that I walked in with. The color was very inconsistent throughout my head with purple and dark blonde splotches. The stylist tried to deny that there was any purple in my hair at first. I was at the salon for several hours as she used clarifying shampoo to remove the toner she used, and I had to come back the next day for them to continue to fix it. I was very embarrassed to go places until they fixed it because my hair looked so bad. I came back to the salon and she used a different toner thay made my hair way too dark blonde. I insisted the color my hair was now was not what I walked in with, and showed her pictures for her to reference. The woman argued with me assuring me that even though I "feel" it wasn't the right color it was. Finally, upon consulting another stylist at the salon they agree it wasn't right. She had to wash my hair at least 5 times with clarifying shampoo and use a soap cap. It extremely dried out my hair to the point where I couldn't even run my fingers through my hair. My hair was so brittle I wasn't able to wash it for a week and a half after they caused the damage. My hair was in great condition before going into this salon. I had just gotten a Brazilian blowout and cut weeks before. All I needed was a simple roots touch up. DO NOT GO HERE!!! They caused serious damage to my hair that really dried out my hair, destroyed my Brazilian blowout, and caused a lot of breakage. read more

As a client of Beck Salon (formerly in the same space as Heritage), I was hopeful, albeit a bit hesitant, that I could find someone as fabulous as the stylist I'd had at Beck. I'm happy to report that I definitely found that in Natalie! She is a great listener and gave me a great dry cut for my curly hair--something I'd only had once before and it's one of the best cuts I've ever had. I had a luxurious hour-and-a-half stay on my first visit, and Natalie's skills with products really showed me what a difference they could make for my curls. I can already tell that my cut will last me a while, but I'm still looking forward to my next visit. read more

On a whim, I decided to give this salon a try and booked an appointment online (very convenient and easy) and I was able to get an appointment for the next day. I walked in to Heritage Hair Studio and found a hip and inviting salon. The stylists and staff were very welcoming, offering a selection of beverages. My stylist was Gywnne, the owner, and after a nice chat she came up with a solution for my frizzy hair. Gywnne evened out my grown-out hair highlights with beautiful mid-tones and highlights, just the right amount for my dark brown natural color. She then took the time to show me how to wash and style (air dry) my hair to turn the frizzes into big wavy curls, it was so easy and much healthier for my hair.
