In all they're great and caring people in a business that gets a bad reputation for asking to be paid for their services. The previous post ends with the suggestion to, "plan". I would also suggest that you prepare to pay for a funeral if that's what you want. The government, Veterans Administration, and the state of Texas do not pay for funerals. Just like buying a car or groceries, you have to guarantee payment. A promise in this day and age is not a guarantee. As for Mark being rude and disrespectful...see what kind of reception you receive from your local grocery store if you try and walk out without paying.

The hospital send my husband to the wrong place after he passed and even though Tim, from Crawford and Bower, told me he would call me in the morning he called me as soon as my husbands body got to where it was supposed to be so I would be comfortable. From the moment I walked through the doors Tim and the other staff members were kind, gracious, and very understanding. No one pushed me to spend extra money, no one rushed me to make decisions, and most importantly everything came together in a beautiful service that fully honored my husbands wishes. They cremated his body without my consent, they never notified me that they were going to cremate him!!!!

My mother passed and she had a pre-plan with this facility. We had an appointment for 12:00pm, but…read morethe funeral director didn't show up until 12:30pm. We had to repeat answers several times. Contracts weren't ready for us to sign, she had to keep going out and coming back into meeting. Spelled my mother's name for her...she misspelled it twice on the paperwork after that. Emailed her the obituary we had written, she didn't even bother to check her email before asking us for it. We had requested a private family service before a memorial service, but she posted the private family service in the newspaper instead of the memorial service, and she spelled my mother's name wrong again. When I brought it to her attention she blamed it on the newspaper. I spoke to the newspaper and they informed me that the funeral home sends the obituary to them directly. When I came to see how she had prepared my mother for viewing, no one even acknowledged me when I entered the building. I stood in the lobby for at least 10 minutes before funeral director came out of the chapel and said she was ready for me to see my mother, even though there was a lady sitting in an office in the lobby area. I don't find them to be very professional nor compassionate. I would not recommend this facility for your loved ones final preparations. Kimberly Eakin

This is unquestionably one of the most well-maintained, organized and manicured cemeteries you will…read morefind anywhere in the state. It is directly behind the Palm Valley Lutheran Church which is a historical building. All the graves are very well laid out and ordered primarily into family burial plots. There are acres of old headstones , recent ones and some waiting to be interred in their future plot. There is a single paved lane that runs through the center of the cemetery dividing the old and the new graves. I'm sure many of these headstones belong to the Who's Who of Round Rock and local history. This is still an active cemetery and I found several recent graves from 2022. There is also more room for additional plots on the back side should you decide this is the place to be your forever home. The church had a historical marker, but I did not see one for the cemetery. The pictures in this review don't fully capture just how beautiful this place is.

They met with us the same day, listened to what we were attempting to accomplish in terms of a memorial service, had references readily available, and allowed us time to use their conference room and pull all the elements together. On the day of the service, they were more available than we had ever expected them to be, and didn't rush us in any way. Everything went perfectly, and their services were an important reason why it all went so well. For an extremely cost effective way to handle final expenses, we didn't feel like we were getting sub par service; far from it. I've been to the full service places that come with plenty of guilt to push you to spend more money during a time where you are ill equipped to make good decisions. Here, we received everything we wanted, no high pressure sales tactics or guilt. I can't recommend them enough, they are awesome people! Thank you very much for everything you did for us.
