TLDR: A pleasant cemetery that caters to all faiths and offers green burials. Grounds have some…read morelovely sculptures but the best part is the beautiful prayer garden. I think I want to be buried here. A lovely and serene place. A variety of sculptures are placed throughout the grounds. On one side, there is a green, lush pasture with grazing cows. On another side, the most beautiful aspect of this cemetery -- the prayer garden. It was larger and more pleasant than I expected. There is a lovely little pond and a trail that passes multiple family plots. It has that magical hidden-from-the-world feeling. I neglected to take photos since I wanted to avoid photographing any gravestones. Why doesn't every cemetery have a prayer garden!? This cemetery serves all faiths. Oh and they offer GREEN BURIALS (sign me up). There's no official parking lot -- you just find areas to pull over. There is a slightly larger area to pull over by the portable toilets (by prayer garden entrance). Cemetery hours are dawn to dusk, daily. The official hours listed here are for the office, which has limited hours and is closed on weekends. Office staff is very friendly (I called to confirm hours).

3.5 This is a very…read morenicely maintained cemetery. Several of the graves were covered in rose bushes and floral arrangements that you may not see in other places. There were some gravel pathways and and some statuary that were very pretty. Behind the graves there was a prayer walk way with headstones, chimes and figures dedicated to St. Francis of Asisi. There is no real parking lot to speak of but you can park on the gravel near the opening of cemetery. Also, there are no real bathrooms here. There is a port o potty but it's super gross so be aware to take care of that somewhere else.

Sandwiched between Round Rock and Georgetown in the countryside along County Road 110, you'll find…read morethis cemetery. It sits on about 3 acres and is oddly divided between the older headstones on the south side and the newer ones on the north side with an expanse of land in the middle. Right next-door is a camper and boat storage facility. The property is relatively well cared for, although many of the older headstones really could use a good cleaning. There is a Texas historical sign on site which speaks of the Swedish settlers in the area. This makes sense since many of the headstones reflect the language. One thing that I found odd was there were our family plots covered in pea gravel laid out, but they are unclaimed. For that matter, virtually the entire cemetery is laid out in square family plots in an orderly manner. One name that stood out here, was the name Bergstrom, which reminds me of Austin's airport namesake. The newest internment that I could find was from 2025 and there is plenty of space still available. One thing that was conspicuously missing from the newer markers were small oval porcelain photographs of the deceased cemented to the headstones. This early 20th century cemetery was once in the countryside, but now it is surrounded on all sides…read moreby local businesses and literally sits next to the newly built H-E-B parking lot in Georgetown. At the entrance closest to H-E-B you'll find a very detailed layout of the cemetery which will provide you with lots of information. The entire cemetery seems to have a randomly laid out pattern of headstones and markers with some family plots, but mostly just individual markers. Many headstones found here are cast in concrete instead of granite. As the sign at the entrance points out, there are many unmarked graves as well which are primarily former slaves and other African-Americans. Most of the graves have long since been forgotten about, but there are still quite a number of newer graves that are well tended by family members. The grounds are mowed, but there are quite a number of headstones in a state of disrepair. Directly on the side of the road you'll see a plaque for this cemetery which dates from the 1840s…read more It is a small cemetery of some family plots and randomly placed markers. Some of the headstones have been repaired and some still lie on the ground. As the plaque says, these graves belong to many of the early pioneers, of whom many died young. Many of these headstones belong to people in their 20s. The cemetery is probably just slightly larger than an acre and there are unmarked graves located here. The unmarked graves are marked with simple white crosses. If you're interested in local history, this is a point of interest.

This is one of those well laid out and organized cemeteries of family plots with borders. This is still a very active cemetery with numerous well visited graves adorned with momentos. There are many headstones from the late 1800s and early 20th century. There is a sign at the entrance stating that there are 105 Confederate soldier graves on the property. Many of these older graves are blended in with the newer ones. There is a semi paved, gravelly road that weaves through the entire complex and near the center is a covered memorial area. Towards the back half is where the more interesting markers are. There are some above ground mausoleums, including a full-size family mausoleum. Towards the rear is where you'll also find one or more Texas historical signs. There's far more to see here than the pictures below spell out. The best entry point is on Industrial Park Road. I come from a family of veterans so my dad volunteers to ride with the Patriot Guard Riders. They attend funeral services for fallen American heroes (US Military, firefighters and police). I come here often to visit my brother who served in Iraqi Freedom. He is gone too soon. The cemetery is always clean and the lawn is well kept.

Towards the back of the cemetery next to the flag pole, you'll find a Texas historical sign with more information. Normally a cemetery is ringed by a chain-link fence, but this one sits directly on the edge of County Road 120. The cemetery itself shows little in the way of signs of visitation, but there are some recent interments here. Apart from the traffic on County Road 120, it's a fairly peaceful place. It is surrounded on all sides by local businesses and a small school. There is an entrance available on FM 1460 and Westinghouse with a single gravel road leading to both. Also, towards the rear of the cemetery, you'll find the much older headstones.
