This was in a very nice air conditioned, newly remodeled auditorium. He is my second grandchild to graduate from this school, we still have one more to go and a handful of nieces & nephews who also attend. So overall we have been coming here to school performances and Holiday shows since my eldest grandson started here in 2011. He is now in High School at Mater Dei. I was a bit reticent when they started going to this school because I would have preferred them to attend a Catholic private school. Because we are Catholic. But as usual time has proven me wrong. The wonderful academic excellence and innovation, that this school provides has showed me that, the right choice was made. I see how happy and well rounded my grandkids have become. They are into sports, music; one plays the cello incredibly well. It seems that this school places a high priority on individual achievements, probably due to the 13:1 student teacher ratio. All of this with the added benefit of providing a moral education along with the academic one. The school is very well maintained, and the staff is incredible. Grandparents are treated as special guests; we even have a special day when the kids perform just for us. So, in my humble opinion this is one of, if not the finest private pre-school to 8th grade school in Chula Vista. I am a fan and I guess always have been. I highly recommend this illustrious private school!

These teachers pray for their students, they take the time to make sure things are prepared for their students. And the director and assistant director or wonderful. This is a wonderful, safe and healthy environment for any preschool family from any form of background. One thing I loved about this school when I first started working there was even if you don't believe or aren't a Christian, this school will still accept you. And that to me, shows their true hearts.

My daughter was bullied and attacked enough to cause bruises. Knots in her forehead and dirt thrown in her hair and face. With no consequences to the bully. After several investigations they did find that the child was bullying my daughter- but due to privacy laws that protect bullies - apparently I can't know what those consequences are. So if you want to ever feel safe for your child, find a neighboring school. Tragic. Even though now we jus transferred her school I can't help but feel sadden by the way things were handle or lack their of. Theirs no real structure or safety plans- rather only being told " what do you want to do "..... as confusing as it was that they allow this to continue when I had time after time said this is what is happening please watch out for my child- the bully was still allowed to follow my daughter and increasingly hurt and attack her, mostly because their was no real punishment (mind you their in kindergarten) or consequences. this lax attitude from staff and principal is what allowed it to continue and get worst day by day. no sense of urgency or justice for my sweet girl. Mrs B. in Kindergarten is an amazing teacher who brought our child's academics to the next level, all the while fostering a safe and nurturing environment. She was an instrumental part of our child's growth over the past year, and is the main reason our youngest loves her school so much. She is an absolutely wonderful teacher. Mrs Ashley in first grade, and Mrs Kohl, in second grade, worked closely with our oldest daughter for the past two years. I can't say enough about these amazing teachers. They have fostered a love of learning in our child, and she is now reading and writing, and doing math far above grade level, compared to her friends that are in public schools. My family loves Victory Christian Academy and I can't see my kids attending any other school. The Principal, teachers and families are all top notch and together they have created a very special school. If you are looking for a safe and engaging school that has high academics, a focus on biblical studies and an amazing staff, this is the school for you.

This is a part of San Diego that's seen little in terms of investment, and homeowner churn (thanks to Prop 13 this means less tax revenue), until recently. Many of the staff have lived and even gone to this or nearby schools, and they truly care about the students and this community. Our daughter went here and learned English as a second language quickly, thanks to the compassion and attention instructors gave her. The principal, Dr. Pham, is a treasure I hope continues to lead Boone's students, staff, and parents into a new age of academic and civic excellence.
