Johnny Mariscal is a project manager who works for Heritage Construction. He is the subject of this critique. Last year we had a plumbing leak. Our claims adjustor came up with Johnny's name. According to our insurance company, Johnny was supposed to speak with me directly on all matters, but instead he chose to refer all conversations to our claims adjustor. Apparently, he had a problem with me even though I never met him and the only time we spoke was a brief conversation over the phone to arrange for a plumber to come out.
When the plumber came out he called Johnny and had him on speaker. I could hear Johnny's loud voice referring to me in a derogatory manner. I was shocked since I only had that one short conversation with him. Perhaps he's a misogynist and disrespects women. I don't know, but unprofessional doesn't begin to capture his attitude.
Lastly, he doesn't communicate well. He demanded answers to his [text] questions, then would 'ghost' me when I have a question. He reminded me of a child who thinks he's superior to everyone else, so he doesn't have to talk to you if he doesn't want to.
Fortunately, our repair got done. But he had little to do with it. Needless to say, Johnny Mariscal of Heritage Construction is the worst contractor I've ever met. I would not recommend him for any project or company and I would suggest Heritage Construction consider his mannerisms towards their customers. read more
