Heritage Coast is absolutely exceptional! As a little context, this was our first home purchase and we knew absolutely nothing and had no idea the roller coaster we we're about to embark on! We had an opportunity to purchase and jumped on it and everything happend so fast from viewing to acceptance to closing. Heather was on it to guide us every single step of the way. She walked us through every part of the process, advocated for us when needed, helped us understand expectations and timelines, and otherwise handled everything flawlessly. We are beyond grateful for the opporuntiy to share this big life moment with her and her team and will only use Heritage Coast in the future. Highly recommended and very grateful for her expertise and tenacity to land us our dream home. Thank you again Heather! read more

Heritage Coast Homes - Real Estate Agents Near Me - Costa Mesa, California

Highly recommended. Working with Heather and Whitney has been an A+ experience. Heather & Whitney at Heritage Coast Homes helped us sell our house AND purchase our new home in late 2024. Both transactions were handled with the highest level of professionalism, transparency, & honesty. They understand the local real estate market and bring strong negotiation skills to the table. Selling: Heather and Whitney went above & beyond to prepare & stage our house for sale. The professional photography was outstanding & helped our property stand out on flyers & real estate listing sites. The open houses they held generated a lot of interest from local buyers & agents. Throughout the process they kept us informed & looped in, explaining each step. We received multiple offers, our house was sold for above asking price, & we closed escrow on time. Buying: Heather & Whitney helped us buy our new home in a new neighborhood. Clear communication throughout the process, including home inspection and removal of contingencies. Overall, a very easy and seamless transaction. Heather & Whitney care about their clients. The entire process for both transactions felt very customer-first. read more

Confession time: Carlos was not the realtor I was working with in the beginning. I also had doubts that I would even be able to buy something. It wasn't until I started working with Carlos that the fantasy of owning a piece of property became more and more of a reality. Carlos was literally there the entire time. During the process he was responsive when I had questions. He was honest with his opinions and feedback when I was in doubt/unsure; it was a conversation that I had with him that allowed me to see the potential in the condo I purchased. But his passion and work ethic; it made the entire process fun, exciting, with a touch of thrill. I can't give enough credit, or express enough gratitude, towards Carlos and his professionalism. Thanks, Mesa Group. You got a loyal client moving forward. read more

You should be charged for cleaning up your junk fliers that you dump on people's door steps. This isn't the 1980's. Stop already.

The reason why I'm giving Mesa Group 5 stars isn't because they're highly experienced, knowledgeable real estate professionals. It's not because they're incredibly attentive and detail-oriented. And it's not because they'll take all the guesswork and headache out of selling or buying a home. While all of the above is true, the real reason why is because they actually put their clients first, unlike others who only say they do. Heather and Whitney worked tirelessly to prepare my property for sale, and when I made a last-minute decision to live in it instead of selling for another 2 years, they were not only understanding, but they helped me feel good about my decision. I hope my experience can help others who are looking for real estate professionals connect with the right people, because that's what Heather and Whitney are: the right people for the job. read more

I've worked with Heather and Alan to buy two homes and sell one and they have been absolutely incredible. They are very hands on and go the extra mile at each step of the way. Being a first time home buyer and seller they were very patient to explain every detail. Always available and very reliable. Felt great to have agents that new the market so well and overdelivered on every promise. Would strongly recommend! read more

I've worked with Heather and Alan twice now over the span of several years. Once to find a rental home, and once to purchase a home. I had a great experience working with Heather the first time around, and it was proven that I made the right choice to work with her again for a second time. Heather and Alan worked diligently get me into a house that I was happy to purchase, with a very short timeframe to do it. (And we looked at a lot of houses, I am pretty picky!) They helped me through every step of the sale, from finding the right house, to negotiation and inspections, to closing a week early - and even after the sale with support to get through all the steps needed to prepare the home for my move in. They kept things organized and simple, made sure everything went smoothly (even when unexpected issues or questions would arise) and were always easy to get in touch with at any time before, during, and after the purchase. I can't say enough good about this team and wouldn't hesitate to call them again if/when the need arises. You shouldn't hesitate either, if you're looking for a home in Orange County. read more

Alan and Heather are the recognized local experts in the area we sold our house. They are trusted, not just by us, but by most of our neighbors to sell their houses. That gives them a strong knowledge of our local market, since they are often hosting open houses and getting familiar with both the potential buyers and the local sellers. In addition to that, they are familiar with the process, and very detail oriented to make sure that every step of the way goes smoothly. As a team, they are very responsive and we can always get a hold of any of them. Their deep knowledge of the local market allows them to skillfully negotiate at all the different stages of the sales process. I would definitely recommend them to anybody looking to list their house. read more

We've bought and sold 15 homes in our lifetime. We've never had better representation than with Mesa Grouo. We've done two transactions with the Mesa Group and both were great experiences. They just take care of absolutely everything. No matter how challenging, they are always positive and just say "don't worry; we've got this." Should we need to buy or sell any properties in the future, we wouldn't do business with anyone else. read more

Heather and Alan did an amazing job with the sale of our home in Costa Mesa. Their suggestions and ideas were spot-on, they had their finger on the market and they had resources for everything we needed. We knew up front they were the team we wanted to handle the sale of our home, and having worked with them, wouldn't consider doing business with anyone else. read more

If I could give Heather and Alan 10 stars I would! Heather and Alan helped my husband and I purchase our first home together in December. I was referred to Alan and Heather by a member at the gym I go to. Alan and Heather helped his mother-in-law buy a home and he highly recommended their services. These two are not only top-of-the-line real estate agents, they are also genuine human beings! I contacted Alan on a Tuesday morning in regards to a listing my husband and I were interested in seeing. Alan scheduled a showing that same night and helped my husband and I write an offer by the end of the day. Throughout the entire escrow process, Heather and Alan kept my husband and I informed the entire way. They helped when it came to checking in with the lender as well as scheduling appointments with a handyman and flooring installer to start renovations before we moved in. Heather and Alan were so efficient during our escrow, we actually closed 5 says sooner than expected and were able to complete all renovations prior to the anticipated move-in date. If you are looking for hardworking, relentless, knowledgeable agents who genuinely have your family's best interest- call Heather and Alan (714-931-4684)! I have worked with Heather and Alan for 3 real estate transactions, and they have never let me down. My Husband I moved to Texas last year. We leased out our property until we could decide when to sell our home. We met Heather and Alan right before we moved from California. They do a lot of Business in our neighborhood. I was very impressed with how they presented themselves and told them I would contact them and we could interview them to potentially be our Realtors once we decided to sell. We did meet with them and their presentation and ideas fit us perfectly. Think HGTV in Costa Mesa!!! They are a great pair working on our behalf. We had lots of "junk" to dispose of and the house was "FILTHY" as we had Young men renters, professionals...but didn't like to clean. Heather and Alan met with us and we planned the "makeover " and timing. Since we live out of state it was comforting to know we were in good hands. It took them less than 2 weeks to completely organize all the things necessary to show our home at it's best.. They are such hard workers. They kept us informed through the entire process. They Staged it and personally looked after all the details. We were beyond thrilled with the results. The BEST was yet to come.. SOLD in 3 days multi offers!!! 30 day closing and they walked us through everything. We highly recommend Heather and Alan. I wish we could give them MORE Stars!! Deborah and Richard Thorne read more

With the many positive reviews here, it seems that something changed prior to my experience. The agents handling the sale - Alan and Heather - initially seemed energetic and competent. To my disappointment they chronically did not live up to many of their guarantees, promises, assurances, or duties. *Other buyers/sellers should know this before they select an agent.* To be fair, they were skilled in helping to initially stage the property for showings/open house events and did help obtain a reasonable sale price from a buyer who came to an open house with their own agent. These positives, of course, don't excuse or diminish the unnecessary stress and frustration caused. *** see review on Torelli Realty *** Frustrations and concerns were voiced and expressed all along the process, and yet a month after the sale was complete a mass advertisement mailing was sent out stating the transaction occurred with no stress to the seller. That complete falsehood and misrepresentation could not go unchallenged and this review is written since many others in the neighborhood shared similar stories or issues with agents who have worked or are working for Torelli Realty. read more

Heather Applegate represented me on two recent residential transactions in different markets, sale of my personal residence which was quite complicated and purchase of a new home - a breeze.( You never know how it's going to go, right?!) Because of her exceptional representation on both transactions I intend to list the sale of an income property with Heather in April. Heather represented me professionally and tenaciously. Of equal importance to me, she valued my time and respected my wishes, making solid recommendations as circumstances evolved. She creatively used social media, data analysis, newspaper ads, door-to-door canvassing, open houses - whatever I took to get the job done. Heather did her homework and was an excellent communicator - her constant follow-up kept the deals moving. And, she had an impressive list of trusted resources at her disposal to assist wherever needed. So many realtors take a listing then let it sit. Not Heather! She took on the sale as if it were her own. When it came time to show me properties she previewed them first to ensure they matched my criteria and atmosphere before presenting them to me.. What a time and energy saver! read more

I really enjoyed buying with Heather and Alan and 10/10 would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a house or condo. The process of buying my first home was crazy (to say the least!) and I am grateful to Heather for taking the time to fully explain the contracts that I was signing and for walking me through the process. They are responsive, smart, and energetic... all of which great aspects to have in an agent representing you. Thank you again!! read more

Alan and Heather were highly recommended to us by friends when we decided it was time to put our home on the market. Alan and Heather met us and gave us a realistic assessment of what to expect. They consulted us on small things we could do to increase the sale price. Their recommended contractor was professional and reasonable. Alan and Heather put together a plan to get the house ready and helped tremendously with getting the interior and exterior looking attractive. We were blown away with how we actually hooked a buyer in the first week. Out of the four real estate agents that I have worked with in the past, Alan and Heather were a pleasure to work with and were more attentive to our needs. We would use them again if we ever decided to move. read more

Heather is a dedicated professional as well as a lovely individual. She worked really hard to show us homes meeting our criteria over a four month period. She was always accessible and so respectful of our time. She went above and beyond to ensure our transaction was handled as efficiently as possible and enabled us to obtain a home that met our needs to a tee! We learned upon completion of our transaction that we were not the highest bidder on the property, but due to the outstanding cover letter Heather put together on our offer, we won out! I would highly recommend Heather and intend to utilize her services again should I have the opportunity. read more

Heather did an amazing job with selling our home. Never having sold a house before, she very clearly explained the contract and process. She was always available for questions and, with her partner, went the extra mile to add touches to our home when our house had to go on the market again after the buyers backed out. What we really appreciated was that she or her partner Alan were always at our house for a showing and we could feel secure that our home was safe. She always kept us informed as we negotiated with the buyer and through escrow and was readily available to help us from getting the house ready to sell up through packing to move. Heather is an excellent agent and I would recommend her to anyone needing to sell or buy. read more

Heather Applegate is amazing! My wife and recently had the opportunity to have her help us find our first home and we couldn't be happier! Heather goes above and beyond and treats you like family. We put her through the ringer exhausting all options at an aggressive price point in a low inventory market and she never waviered. We searched daily for new listings and open houses every weekend and she never skipped a beat.
