I love this place because they love my clothes. And it's hard to find a place that treats your good clothes well these days. Oh sure- I've strayed in the past- lured by a coupon or home delivery or other things that I think I really need. But what it comes down to is who takes care of my clothes in the way that they deserve? And that is Heritage Cleaners. My silk blouses come back all shimmery and sleek, my suits all proudly lined up, my shirts crisp and starched, my sweaters all clean and cuddly with out that dry cleaner smell- and even the comforter from my bed- all clean, all perfect and always ready when promised. You also never have to worry that a button will be missing when you put the shirt on the next time as they seemingly catch it and sew on a new button. It's almost like magic. It's hard to say you love your dry cleaner because what kind of person says that? But if there is a constant in my life- it is this place and the fine care they give what makes me look good each and every day. And for that piece of mind- I am grateful. read more

I had a very bad experience with them today. I brought a Burberry coat in to be cleaned several weeks ago and due to warmer then normal temperatures never removed it from the plastic bag until the other day. The coat had dark stains all over it. When I brought it back to them the owner accused me of wearing it and refused to accept any responsibility. Another cleaners informed me that the cleaning chemicals were over used and the coat was probably ruined. Not only did they ruin my coat but I have never been treated more rudely by anyone. read more

I just moved to the area and like to try different places before settling on a dry cleaners since I use my dry cleaners every week. I walked in and no one said anything; they just looked at me. I said I have to drop off some suits and he went walked to the computer and looked up- still not a word. I said "this is my first time here, I'm new to the area". The guy sighed loudly and handed me a small paper and pen. No instructions, requests, or noise coming from his mouth. I asked if he needed my name and finally he said something "uh yeah and number". I gave it to him and I got a ticket. No thank you, no day it'll be ready- nothing. When I went to pick it up, a customer was ahead of me trying to explain the alterations he needed and the same man that helped me just pointed to the lady employee as to to direct the customer to her. The lady just said "what you want". I laughed. When I got my suits, the guy did not say a single thing and looked so mad and so did the lady. The other customer looked at me and said "why do I still come here". I literally laughed as I walked out. After talking to neighbors and a co-worker, they all laughed and say the same thing. It's well known the owners are mean, rude, and don't talk to people. Apparently, if you so much question their work or complain, they yell at you. That's my last visit here. read more

Use this facility at your own risk. We were regular customers for a couple of years until the day they lost an expensive shirt belonging to my husband. We picked up our cleaning one day only to find that one of the shirts included in the order clearly did not belong to us, while one of the shirts we had dropped off was missing. When I first pointed out that the shirt they returned to us was not the shirt we dropped off, the owner immediately became very nervous, disclaimed all responsibility and accused me of losing my husband's shirt before arriving at their facility to drop off my laundry. (Not sure how that would result in them adding the wrong shirt to our order, but, whatever.) We believed it was a simple mix up --my husband's shirt got switched with someone else's. So my husband went in to describe the missing shirt so they could keep an eye out for it. He tried on the "wrong" shirt for them and demonstrated that it was two sizes too small. At that point, the owner became irate, insisted that the "wrong" shirt did indeed belong to us, and we were told (shouted at, actually) that we "Would get nothing from them!" The owner insisted that he had video evidence of me dropping off this shirt that obviously belonged to someone else. Bottom line? Very unpleasant experience. Had they just admitted the mix-up this could have been easily resolved. read more

My first yelp. Have been going there for 20 years and two of the employees are outwardly rude to me. Never say hello or thank you. Have lost clothes and never apologized. It's actually a somewhat hostile environment. Can't wait to find a new place. Couldn't be more rude to me. I am finished. read more

I'm OK overall with the way they clean my clothes, but the heavy set young man who works at the counter is positively surly to me, for some reason. He grunts at me, never says hello, goodbye or please or thank you. Someone needs to speak to him, it's not right to treat any customer this way. read more

I must say I am not a yelper and was shocked when I seen the negative comments about Heritage Cleaners. I have been going here for years and love them. They are very professional and they know what they are doing when it comes to dry cleaning. Sam was very helpful and very pleasant to deal with. Just started going to this cleaners about a month ago and their service is excellent. I am not sure why it has low review but i am very satisfied. They had my same day cleaning done on time all the time and have done an excellent job on my cashmere sweaters. Also they do my linens and very pleased with their quality of work and service. read more

I decided to try this place because it is a short walk to the train. My initial complaint is they are too expensive. One Price Cleaners may be out of the way for me sometimes but I'll always know I won't be spending a lot. 3 Pants and 5 shirts ran me $27, I could get the same done for about 12-13 dollars elsewhere. read more

I have been a customer for more than 20 years. I have had a few problems over the years but never complained because a few dozen broken buttons or misplaced shirts over the years is not a big deal. But today was the last straw. I had an expensive shirt that they clearly tried to use a harsh chemical on and completely ruined it. I asked Mrs Kim how she might make the situation right. She told me I must have done something to the shirt even though it was obvious I had not. She just kept repeating that it was my fault. I told her repeating herself didn't change the facts and asked what she might be willing to do to make the situation right, especially since I had made weekly visits there for more than 20 years. At that point she called Daniel out to argue that it was my fault. He told me that there was "a zero chance" that they would have given it to me that way without calling it to my attention even though I have seen numerous customers make similar complaints. At that point, Daniel actually started yelling at me at which point I told him he needed to calm down. I asked one last time if they were willing to do something to make the situation right. I was picking up cleaning at the time and if they would have even offered me a small discount I would have let the matter drop. But, just as I have seen many times over the years and in MANY of the reviews herein, they insisted it was my fault. So if they treat a customer of 20+ years that way when he lodges his first complaint ever, how do you think they'll treat you? read more
