After having my new stove installed, I only needed a 2'x2' piece of butcher block counter to finish. I went to the local cabinet guy in the hopes he might be able to help me. The showroom, if you could call it that, isn't much to look at. It's a basic "you better know what you want" kind of store. They do have portfolios available for inspiration if one so needs it. However, since I knew what I wanted it was easy peasy. The man that helped me was very nice. He walked around the shop looking for a piece of block that he thought he had. When he couldn't find it he took my number and said he'd call when he either found it or he would call and get it from another place. A few days later I got a message and my counter was there. They cut it to the exact size I needed and bullnosed the front edge for no extra cost. I added installing it to the honey do list for my hubby this weekend.
