Pt 1/2: I've been meaning to write a very over due and genuinely well deserved review on Here We Glow Tanning Salon for some time. The fact that, from day 1, I've always been unbelievably welcomed by the owner/manager and the staff there is only one of many reasons to go here - The owner has NEVER changed from the day I first met her, neither have her girls. You couldn't ask for a more PROFESSIONAL, GENEROUS, CARING, WELCOMING, RELIABLE, CREDIBLE, 100% REAL, INTELLIGENT, COMMITTED, SUPER EASY TO TALK TO AND GO TO (WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS) OWNER/MANAGER AND EMPLOYEES ANYWHERE ELSE PERIOD.
Not only is the salon absolutely spotless and clean but I've seen firsthand how the staff EXCEED STANDARDS with keeping the place that way, especially with disinfecting and sanitizing all the rooms and beds, also, always making sure each room is fully stocked with everything you could need from hair ties, wink-ease, sprays, deodorant, wipes, mirrors, places to put your belongings, ect. Now you may think all salons are "expected to have this" but that's false.. if your an avid tanner whose gone to multiple tanning salons like I have you'll know that not only do many salons keep it to the bare minimum so you don't waste too much time in the room but the experience is way more generic at these place... it doesn't make your experience specific to and appropriate for you and the results you want to achieve.
The owner not only incoprates legit evidence based research for safest and most effective tanning practices into her salon which obviously shows she cares about what she does and takes the time to share this with all her clients to get the best results in the safest manner possible. She won't just take your money and let you fry yourself like most places (Yes that means she obviously truly cares about each and ever client that walks in that door - you think south Beach or any other chain tanning salon is going to turn your money down if your even at the slightest risk for a bad outcome? Whether or not they even had the knowledge of what was really best for you.. Ha exactly). I'm sure we all agree not only is that a bit counterproductive if you're going to just any tanning salon, just to burn and have a peel right off because no one took the time to properly guide you toward getting the best base and ultimately the best tan you're CAPABLE of getting, with the best products (that not only darken you but SMART/ADVANCED LOTIONS AND PRODUCTS AVAILABLE AT THIS SALON that can actually help your body/skin to produce more of what it needs to ESTABLISH A DARKER TAN (at the molecular level) THAN WHAT YOUR SKIN COULD ACHIEVE WITHOUT IT. It's INSANE). I double take at myself if I'm passing a mirror sometimes because I don't even recognize myself because I've NEVER BEEN THIS DARK BEFORE. My complexions better than ever too.
In fact I can guarantee if you give Here We Glow the chance it deserves and you make this your go to tanning salon YOU WILL BECOME DARKER THAN YOU EVER THOUGHT WAS EVEN POSSIBLE. TRUST ME when I say I've been tanning for years and eventually got to where I wanted to be... but to finally established a noticeably tan base, it would take me a minimum of 1 to 2 months before I started to actually get brown. Even once I got brown I would hit a plateau and not get darker beyond a certain point. When I came to Here We Glow this time around... not only did I establish a noticeably tan base after (at most) ONLY WITHIN TWO WEEKS MAX of tanning here (I'm really pale) but the quality of the tan was BY FAR THE BEST IVE EVER HAD and that's really the key to getting your money's worth and looking the darkest you can. By not burning and damaging my skin, by going in the right beds for the right amount of time and using the right products at different stages (all 100% credited SPECIFICALLY to the time and energy the owner and her staff have cared enough to put into this salon and my experience... by finding, validating and using proven knowledge and practices, for each skin type, and providing me with the most effective regimen based on this knowledge.
If I had a pictures showing how light I was before I came here and how perfectly and quickly my tan started out developing and continued developing, especially compared to how dark I've continued to become to, you wouldn't even consider going to another tanning salon because I got everything I wanted and more by coming here. Its always taken 3+ months worth of packages to get to where I've gotten already in under a month coming here (More money in your pocket). Plus I'm sorry but if you think the prices here are high here - I spent over $35 for a one time walk in session at LA Sunset tan in Ramsey... And a few others locally and further south jersey where walkins for not even the best bed exceeded $25 also for one time sessions.
