I moved this summer from a second floor condo with 18 stairs to a ranch home. I have three very fragile pieces of furniture. a solid oak China cabinet that is so heavy I can't move it slightly even to clean around it, and two curio cabinets. All with lots of glass and shelves. Additionally I have some seriously heavy furniture. My garage had shelves up high packed with boxes. I knew I couldn't do it on my own. I called around, after speaking with Jessica I was sure I was dealing with the right company. There was no hidden costs or surprises. The crew were friendly and pleasant to be around, and Jessica was a great help as I was trying to figure out where to put the furniture in my new home. With the exception of one shelf that did get damaged, everything arrived in perfect condition. The damaged shelf they took to a glass company and had a new shelf made at their expense, and actually brought it to my home and installed it for me. I highly recommend them and plan to use them in the near future when my daughter moves. read more

Bit of a mix up with my phone number. But I reached out on Facebook and got a response from the owner pretty quickly. A few hours late but it was due to covid issues so , I get it. I took the day from work so no big real. Over all good experience. The crew was super friendly, and worked their tails off. No slacking what so ever. Got a goofy sized chair in. I was worried wouldn't fit. I thought the price was fair. A few issues caused stress. But we're all human and things worked out in the end. Id use them again. read more

I hired Here and There Moving for a move in September 2021. The owner Monte met at my former residence and quoted me a price for me to pack up my own belongings, and a separate quote for them to pack my belongings and also move it. He said the only way they could insure my belongings is if they packed them, so I opted for the more costly option where they packed my belongings. The move was short, only a few miles between houses. They show up and at first things are pretty organized. They started going room by room, putting things in boxes that were pretty well labeled. The intent was to pack the entire house Day 1, and move to new house Day 2. However, because they showed up late, they didn't finish packing Day 1, so packing dragged on to Day 2. Some of the guys in the crew were a bit sketchy. I had one guy that noticed I had 2 of some things, and asked "hey, you don't need 2 of these, do you mind if I have one?" It was an unprofessional and odd request, but I obliged because it seemed weird to say no. The second day when they were obviously behind schedule, the packing started going sideways. There was all of a sudden no rhyme or reason to the packing. They just started throwing things in random boxes, not labeling them correctly. Food was thrown in the same boxes as items from my living room. Rather than carefully pack breakable items, they used my own clothes to wrap my breakable belongings! They started using my own suitcases to just start jamming things from around the house. A lot of this was unbeknownst to me until I got to my new house and started unpacking. Halfway through Day 2, they make one of two trips to the new house. I was there the whole time to help direct where boxes needed to go. However, because many boxes were mislabeled because of their rushing the second day, things were misplaced around the entire house. Boxes that were labeled basement or closet, in reality had food in them, that weren't discovered until over a week after I was settled in my new house. On the second trip when they were short on space, the claimed they were concerned about some of my valuables breaking in the moving truck, so they put them in their beat-up personal vehicles. I believe this is where an eventual theft occurred. They packed up all of my electronics, but what never made it to my new home was a Sony Playstation. Games, controllers, and everything else made it--but not the console. In an effort to not prematurely accuse anyone of something, I waited a month to make sure I had ample time to literally go through every box they brought. Because things were not packed orderly and were not labeled correctly, I had to go through and empty every single box, which took some time. When I'm sure that the item wasn't just misplaced and was actually missing, I reach out to the owner and tell him of the missing Playstation. He claimed he would get to the bottom of it and was very apologetic. Then nothing, I don't hear anything from him for weeks. After the fact, he claims he came down with COVID, he was in the hospital, and that his partner was going to take care of it. His partner finally gets back to me 5 weeks after I notified the owner of the theft, and claimed they had fired the guy that they think stole it, and that they were going to get me a replacement. That communication was 5 weeks ago. So it's now been 10 weeks since I notified them of the theft. I asked for a replacement or the money so I could replace it myself. At this point, they have stopped responding. Do not hire this company. Are they cheaper than the competition? Yes, probably, but you get what you pay for. Do you want your belongings to make it safe to your new home safe? Do you want to worry about a bunch of sketchy guys going through all of your personal belongings after they sell you on a bill of goods, that the only way they can insure your goods are if they pack them, themselves? Find a legitimate and reputable company to move your belongings and stay clear from this company! read more

The did a great job moving my furniture but left a scratch the length of the hallway. I called immediately and was assured that it would be checked out. After many calls in assurances no one ever came. It was getting close to the closing of my house so I called my realtor, she also tried calling them but they never got back to her either. So very disappointed. I expected better as he was such a very nice sounding man on the phone. read more

I've used several moving companies recently and this move was arrange for my mom, so I needed specific things to happen before I would move forward. I live out of state, so everything was arranged over the house phone with Monte. He assured me they would be fair, careful with wrapping and mom would not have to worry. This is hands down the most dishonest company I have every dealt with. DO NOT USE!! I used them in the past, I notified them of my broken TV and Monty told me "don't worry about it, we''ll take care of it and get it submitted to our insurance" I never heard back! Messaged and called mulitple times and no follow up. Then Norby and Son was contraced with me to me for 2 items, they could not move them and said they would parter with their sister company Here and There Moving. Monty called me and said he remembered me and the items needing to be moved and that they would definetly get this move done. Monty said it would happen Saturday and 9am. I called him from the storage facility and 9:15 and he said their truck broke down, he has a rental and promissed my move would be done in the afternoon. Its now after 5pm, I tried calling him twice, no answer. Nothing but uprofessionalism, lies and deciet from Monty and this company. STAY AWAY!! No communication, a waste of your time and zero professionalism. read more
