I arrived and was told it had come in late the night before and hadn't been serviced. When they finally brought around it was spitting hydraulic fluid. She went inside and came back and told me there was good news and bad news. Bad news it was out of service good news was they thought they could fix it in a couple hours. No apology, no offer to add a day or discount. When I asked about a discount she said it was against policy. When I asked for the owner she said she was the owner. If I want to get quoted policy I will go to a big box store, I expect better customer service from a mom and pop store. I left and rented a unit from another source at a cheaper day rate. Shop around and you will find a better rate for more well maintained equipment.

On Sunday morning we tried to dig holes with it and very soft dirt, and once again, the equipment was defective, would not dig at all, just stall out. They were closed on Sunday so I brought it back Monday morning and explained the situation to the owner Paul, he still charged me the minimum of $75 saying that we picked it up at three. We should've been able to call him by five on Saturday. I was amazed that he was going to charge me, but he did. I have been renting from them for over 15 years and will not again. We have videos of the machine not working, but he did not care.

If you don't have a truck they have the uhauls as well. My most recent trip was to rend a uhaul from them and it was quick and painless as usual. They have an honor system for holding equipment, I called the week before I needed equipment and they didn't even require a credit card from me to hold the rental. They rent all sorts of equipment and looks like they also have U-Haul rental as well. Great customer service, would recommend if you need tools for your next project! I noticed lots of folks renting that are "seasoned professionals" but also some newbs that hardly have a clue like me. I am so grateful the staff talked me through how to properly use the equipment.
