Fun down on the farm…read more This place has really cool attractions like mini-horse to ride, feeding animals like horses and goats, and even the little critters like the geese and chickens. As a parent in the modern era, any place I can take my child away from screens, and the indoors and put them into more relaxed and farm and agricultural settings like this, I am very pleased to do it. I don't remember the last time I saw my 4 year old daughter have this much fun. She was running around with another friend of hers and we stayed for about 3 hours. They have a little "tractor" pull ride, and a very large are the kids can run around and burn energy around and among other farm animals. Also the staff all looked like they really enjoyed their job and were having as much fun on the farm as the kids were, and that shows in the level of detail and care the place had. They did have snacks, and snacks you can buy to feed the animals, and it's all very reasonable. Also they have farm and western/country gear as well. This place was a hoot! And I recommend it fully for city folk, country folk and all folk young and old. You will have a blast from the past.

They have lots of ponies and horses and little horses, goats chicken roosters pigs geese. My daughter loved the pony ride so much that she begged me to write the bigger horse. I was so nervous for her, but she really enjoyed it. Of course you ride at your own risk keep that in mind and keep an eye on your children because as I mentioned on one of the pictures, they say that a horse doesn't bite, but I got a bruise from the bite. The horse bit my daughter first. And they said oh no, it doesn't bite. And I thought maybe it just nibbled on her and she got scared. However, then the horse bit me and I got a little bruise. So yes, the really big horse does bite. Also beware because there is another horse there that says not to feed a carrots and it does say on the sign that it does bite so keeping eye for signs really read the signs before you pet any animal. Some of the horses cannot eat carrots they have like a special diet, so please be respectful of that and do not feed them carrots if it says no carrots it can be for different reasons can be because they bite or because they're on a special diet. The whole staff is super friendly and nice. I really enjoyed talking to all of them and getting to know them. This place is huge. Expect to be here for a while and really enjoy your time. There's so much to see and do. My mom and daughter and I all of us got in the train ride, which was so much fun!!! Honestly, I think everything is pretty reasonable price. They do sell drinks, food, honey, eggs, even duck eggs. I think they do birthday parties, which is awesome. I also seen for the summer. They do rent out the pool area so that sounds fun. I'm considering doing that. It's definitely a hidden Gem and I can't wait to go again!!! my daughter absolutely love love love love this place that she can't wait to go again too. Make sure you follow directions how to defeat the animals it took my daughter a few times to get the courage to feed the horses, but after that, she just wanted to feed all the animals over and over again.

We got there around 10am on Sunday, $15 entry fee and $20 for a tin of food to feed the animals - super reasonable! There were turkeys, chickens, geese, lots of alpacas (a little baby that was just a few days old!), guinea pigs, rabbits, goats and pigs. Two of the alpacas were super friendly and running free. Sunshine, the white alpaca would walk right up and eat from the tin. We got a tour of all the animals and the farm. Sat with the guinea pigs and rabbits and fed them carrots. It was just me and my husband but it would be tons of fun with kids! Highly recommend visiting and even though we went at the hottest time of the year, it was super pleasant in Pahrump!

The drive from Vegas is an hour long straight shot up the I-15, once you do get into Moapa drive slow and carefully. There are a lot of speed traps waiting for visitors and the last portion of the drive here is windy and unpaved. Definitely not the most visitor friendly drive. There are lots of activities to do here and they offer several wristband packages to bundle experiences. We opted for the white wristbands ($34/pp) which include all general admission activities, the haunted maze, the haunted hayride and 2 turns at the corn shot. The maze had about a 30-45 minute wait when we got there and the wait got longer from there, but in my opinion it was worth it. We had some good screams and laughs and got through the maze pretty quickly. The haunted hayride honestly was a dud, but it was nice to sit down for a while after standing so long for the maze. They could honestly just stick to a regular fall themed hayride. They also had a bunch of other activities that were included in general admission ($12) like swings, pig races, a small petting zoo, and more. There was plenty to do, but in the future I would probably save a little bit of money and only opt into the maze. I was a bit disappointed in the food selection here. They catered very heavily towards fall fair like desserts, but didn't offer much in terms of actual food. We still did order the fried apple slices and a deep fried cheesecake, along with a couple of hotdogs. I was sorely disappointed by the apples slices because there just tasted like fried dough, the apple almost disintegrated and disappeared after the frying process. The cheesecake was good but incredibly decadent and is best shared between two people. The hotdogs were run of the mill, thin and unimpressive. I added cheese to mine and the bun was so thin it fell apart immediately. For the price per dog, I would have expected Hebrew Nationals. The pumpkin patch was a bit of a long walk away from everything else and by about 10pm we couldn't find too many good pumpkins. We opted to pick some corn instead and I have to give it to them, that corn was sooooo sweet and delicious once cooked. It was definitely a fun night, but with HalloweenTown in Boca Park available in the future I'll probably save gas and stay in town.

First, you NEED to make a reservation before going…read more I never knew we had a ranch with 30 Camels, Alpacas, a Llama, New Guinea Singing Dogs, a Two Toed Sloth, an African Crested Porcupine, a Donkey and a few other animals about an hour outside of Las Vegas. Guy the owner, an amazing bank of knowledge, he knows so much about each animal and more. He is a little rough around the edges and some may think him rude; you try to manage a 176 acre ranch with well over 60 animals who have to be fed daily, not so easy... The Camels have a diet of lettuce, carrots, sweet potatoes, apples; the sloth has a special diet which includes egg whites, the ranch dogs get the yolk as a daily treat and they know when that's coming. So in addition to taking care of all the animals, the ranch which is 176 acres, there are also tours to manage. So show him a little appreciation for what he does every day, seven days a week, etc... You can do camel rides, an ATV experience, a zoo tour on a tram, it's not easy and I feel for him so if you go out there, understand his personality has to be rough to deal with all this. Also understand, each animal has its own personality and feelings. Yesterday, Norm a camel used for rides was having a bad day. He was not in the mood for riders. I first tried to ride Norm, he was calm getting his saddle on but once I got on him, he was nope. When Allie got me off of Norm, Norm had an attitude with both Allie and Guy, Norm had to be put in a kennel which Norm was not happy about but needed a time out. So remember, dealing with 30 camels, mini horses, a Llama, Alpacas, a sloth, etc; they are dealing with a lot of different personalities and feelings in addition to people coming to visit. Safety is taken as a HIGH priority. These animals can inflict pain & even death, so I have a LOT of respect for Guy & Allie. They not only have to be concerned with adults but children as well. We arrived at 8:45 which is when the gate is opened, we met Allie and Guy along with another couple. We rode first and as I said Norm was not happy so I got off and they took my friend around the track. Upon coming back with my friend, a whole group showed up for the zoo tour so we were asked if we minded doing the zoo tour and then we will get back to the camel ride. No biggie... The zoo tour was amazing. We got on the tram and were taken to see every animal on the property stopping in each area, learning all about the animals in that area with the opportunity to ask questions, got to go in the kennel to feed the Llama and Alpacas, cool animals, petted the zebra, fed and petted the porcupine, got up close and personal with the sloth and just had an amazing experience. The knowledge gained yesterday was so cool. Once the zoo tour was over I got to ride Lodi. The camel ride was really cool, long and a really neat experience I would do again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go out and visit this Camel Safari. They need the support as they have a lot of mouths to feed daily and you will have an amazing experience in the Nevada desert.

This experience was unforgettable from start to finish in their 165 acre property. We kicked off the day with a short ride on Jafar, a stunning, gentle giant weighing nearly 3,000 pounds. ( love at first sight) After taking some amazing photos with him, he happily stayed nearby and spent the rest of the day with us. From there, we met several other camels and hopped on the tram, where more adventures were to be had . Along the way, we encountered so many incredible animals, more camels, a zedonk, llamas, alpacas, and miniature horses. One of the highlights was feeding Thorn, their adorable pet porcupine, grapes she was just the sweetest little girl. We also got to see New Guinea singing dogs (so cute!) and Ambien, their 20-year-old sloth, who was just as amazing to see in person as you'd imagine. Feeding the alpacas and llamas carrots was such a fun, hands-on experience. As if that wasn't enough, four friendly Ridgeback dogs casually joined us on the tram, roaming freely and adding even more charm to the day. Every animal we encountered was gentle, well cared for and clearly loved . I truly can't say enough wonderful things about this experience it was pure joy from beginning to end. If you've never met a camel, Ilama, or alpaca, you're missing out. These gentle creatures will absolutely fill your heart. I'm already looking forward to going back again soon. I didn't want the day to end . This is one adventure you don't want to miss it's truly an overload of joy! "LIVE LIFE WITH LOVE & LAUGHTER" ~PEACE JODY~

What a sweet message to encourage the kids to think of others! There is just so much to see and so much space to explore! I was in total awe of all of the plants and sculptures they have, how you many there are, and how unique and large they are, overall just how magnificent they are, honestly! There's even a little Koi pond and a large basketball game set (like the kinds at arcades) that the kids, and my husband, were having fun playing with. That day there was such a nice breeze, but it can definitely get very hot during the spring, and for sure summer time, so wear a hat or bring a UV type of umbrella to provide shade. There's also a cute gift shop that my youngest wanted to keep going in. One of the employees, Mallory, was in there at the desk and was so kind and patient with my youngest daughter (3) and we had a really nice interaction with her. There are some gorgeous large geodes there too, so I was a bit nervous with my daughter walking around, but Mallory never gave us any feeling of unease. She reassured we were okay to be in there. Everyone that works there that we interacted with was very kind! I also like that they offer classes and activities there. If you're going to offer unadvertised discounts, you'd actually have to engage with customers first. Selection: The yard art selection is good, although I'm not sure I'd say the same from a plant perspective. Pricing/value: Everything I looked at seemed overpriced, with some items reaching the point of being obscene. That makes me question the value, regardless of the claims about quality. I've purchased similar items elsewhere for less. Overall, the lack of customer service combined with the pricing makes it difficult for me to see the value or them being voted this or that. It actually is odd like a place to cater to field trips and weddings and I'm not interested in that either albeit considered it a field trip from Henderson. Lol. Luckily enjoyed lunch at Cottonwood Station.
