We recently moved to Seattle from the Eastside and stopped at Our Secret Garden because a friend…read morewas experiencing a difficult loss. The shop was open and the staff members were lovely and helpful. I'm admittedly particular about flowers because my grandmother owned a floral shop in Seattle. I specifically asked for fragrant blooms, such as freesia or stock. I was told those were unavailable, but that they had some especially fragrant roses, so we agreed to use those. We gave them a $100 budget, which they respected. The finished arrangement was pretty, but the tall, vertical vase left much of the stems exposed, so the overall design didn't feel as polished as I expected for the price. My greatest concern, however, was the fragrance. The roses smelled strongly of an artificial rose fragrance, more like room spray, perfume, or detergent than the natural scent of fresh roses. When we presented the bouquet, the recipient's first question was whether the flowers had been sprayed with rose water. I cannot confirm whether anything was applied to the flowers, but the fragrance was extremely off-putting and did not smell natural to us. If naturally fragrant flowers weren't available, I would have preferred to be told that so we could choose something else or return another day.

Wonderful experience!!…read more This was a must see for my wife on our trip to Seattle. She was hell bent on coming to Pike Place and she had it bucket listed most of her life. So glad to be able to take her here. People were so friendly and the vastness of the available flowers were so immense it was hard to take it all in. You can build your own bouquets, or you can buy already bundled together arrangements. It's not that cheap, but the comparison in cost and value can be skewed. Sometimes you pay for the entire experience and although it's more than you would pay anywhere else, it's completely worth it! That's the whole Pike Place, "everything", in my opinion. You get what you pay for and man we had a good time here. Life is what you make it, and you get about 29,000 spins around the sun, and that's if you are lucky! C left flowers in all of the rooms we stayed in after that stop. Funny thing is we got a bad rating on an Air BB because we did. Some people.... Stop by if you can. The first original Starbucks ever is nearby! They throw fish at you around the corner, good times! '26 - 28

Gather did the wedding planning and flowers for our eastern Washington wedding. As you can tell…read morefrom the pictures, the wedding was beautiful. Every detail was careful thought out and brilliantly executed. The flowers were amazing (above and beyond what I imagined). Here are some things you can't see from the pictures. Gather was wonderful to work with every step of the way. They were professional and organized, working tirelessly to make sure our wedding was how we imagined. Cost was a big issue for us, however we told gather what we wanted and gave them our budget and they took care of the rest. An example of something I thought was very clever was that they provided an emergency basket with band aids, stain removal wipes, mending kits, snacks and touch up make up. Gather coordinated with all our vendors so we didn't have to worry about a thing. When issues came up such as broken vases due to transport or seating arrangement that had to be updated, these were taken care of swiftly and without having to bother us. We didn't find out about some until after the wedding and our family members filled us in. I wholeheartedly recommend gather!

The ambiance she created was magical and masterful -- my husband and I were literally in awe the whole night! I may be biased, but I can honestly say she helped create the most beautiful wedding I've ever seen -- many guests told me the same thing! In addition to her incredible work on the wedding day, Amy was great to work with from the very beginning, really listening to what I wanted, incorporating feedback, and sharing great ideas of her own. She is highly creative, detail-oriented, professional, and easy to work with. I could not have been happier with how everything turned out.
