As soon as you walk in, you realize the store is larger than expected and has a good selection of…read moreitems. No one greets you or tells you to pick out a number, as they supposedly use a number system to take care of the customers. As you wait for your turn, people may 'cut in line' (there is no physical line) as some people that work there don't follow the system. As you wait, you'll realize they are extremely slow... Even know they are customers waiting, there is absolutely no sense of urgency. I would recommend calling to reserve your order, since they claim to do that, but the one time I did that it took even longer as they couldn't find my order. As with any business, this one has its pros and cons. Nonetheless, I keep coming back, because it's clean has the best prices (to my knowledge).

It can't be 5 stars because the product did not help my mom and because we did have to go through the bureaucratic rigamarole. My suggestion would be to expressly / more clearly advise their consumers that the order is a recurring payment or alternately make any repeating order OPT-IN. That is, allow the buyer to just buy one time and not have to keep a hawk's eye on their bank account.

Is it slightly in need of a renovation? Yes and actually that's being done right now. Close to Hollywood Beach, this worked for breakfast cereals, coffee, filters, candy bars, and bottles of water. My son got a racquetball racket for regular price. It's not going to be the prettiest spot, but it's utilitarian and practical. The employees are fun loving and hilarious. Friendly and great humor. You can get a number of beers or other adult beverages here. Parking could be conceivably difficult, but so is everywhere in this small alley or road spot. If back here I'll roll to this store.

Key to Health has amazing smoothies. I've been trying to stay away from soy lately (their protein…read morepowder contains soy) so I often bring in Vega or hemp protein and they oblige me to make a smoothie with it. I would make it at home but it always tastes better there because of the temperature they keep the fruit at. They offer a selection of raw foods and raw food platters. They have a great selection of cookies, food bars and chips. I often wander in and always find something I haven't tried before. Ask them what's new that they like and they'll give you an honest opinion, or refer to a product you like and ask for a similar recommendation and they always have one to throw at you. They have a good selection of vitamins and are very knowledgeable about what you should be looking for and what's good for you specifically, which always makes me really happy. I really enjoy when you go into a health food store and they not only know what they are talking about but have enough knowledge to help you with your individual needs in a non-promotional way (i.e. whatever is the current hip company/product they're pushing or what they need to move off the shelf the most- I hate places that do that). When they don't have an answer, or even when they do, they often double check it online. They also do that for me with random questions about products they offer. There's a good selection of actual food products such as flower, soy/rice milk and other staples, and they have a decent drink and frozen food section with several things you can't find at Whole Foods or other similar establishments in Miami. They also have a little book shelf that I've occassionally picked up a good read from. It's a pleasant looking shop that makes you feel comfortable and at ease, a true small business, a place that I can honestly enjoy supporting.

I'm a sucker for a shop offering healthier options of food/goods. The store was stocked with lots of great looking items and had a nice array of good for you bath products. Finally the couple that were there (owners I presume) were as warm and friendly as can be. I'll be making it my business to visit this store again! Worth leaving the beach for this gem!
