I'm not entirely sure where to begin, so I apologize if my review appears choppy…read more Pros: The staff (receptionist + Kamelia) can be friendly, in person. That's about the only positive comment I can make regarding this establishment. Oh, and I would say it's clean. CONS: 1) Your phone call is never picked up by the receptionist. If you leave a message, do not expect a return phone call within 24 hours. In fact, don't even expect the call to be returned within a few days. You may never receive a response. 2) staff cancel your appointments without notice. You may show up, and be told that you are no longer scheduled, and thus can't be seen--a wasted afternoon, if not the entire day, for those of us especially who need to commute 3) Your Groupon is not honoured. I bought a groupon for laser hair removal, and was told that the treatment areas described online are "not accurate" and thus, what I thought I was paying for is not what I ended up receiving. 4) The actual laser hair removal is completely ineffective, and the technologist (Kamelia) is completely incompetent. Even after the full program of six treatments, there is no apparent hair reduction. Furthermore, when the hair on my legs grows out, it is patchy, indicating that there were NUMEROUS missed spots. when I brought this up with Kamelia, she denied it, and said she is always "thorough" and has been doing this "for years." 5) Management will not address any of your concerns, as they are not available. I tried to get in contact with management, and was told that they are never at the location. No attempt was made to connect me to them, and no attempt was made to redress any of my concerns. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY and NEVER go to this place. They have Groupon deals for a reason--because they could never attract and retain customers otherwise.

However, I've experienced so much discomfort with the machine that they have for laser hair removal. My first session I went home with a burnt mark near my ankle. When I mentioned it to the esthetician she didn't even acknowledge that it was her doing. I only have two more sessions left and at this point I am so discouraged to go back. The machine is painful and I'm barely seeing results. The service is not the greatest as I'm not even greeted when I come in anymore. Lastly, the hours of operations is inconvenient for someone like me who works a 9-5 job and not even open during weekends. To be honest, I've taken my laser hair removal sessions to another clinic where I'm getting four other areas treated and I am beyond impressed and satisfied. I won't name the place right now because I still have respect for this business. The other clinic where I'm currently being serviced is amazing and the machine is the best; painless and I'm at the second highest setting. It's a shame that the service and results does not reflect the prestigious location of the clinic.

My wife kindly told him that it wasn't included on a basic cleaning service, it was part of a deep cleaning which has a different price. Oh my, this place is absolutely terrible, I should have not waited this long to write a review on…read morethis clinic and surgeon but here goes, it's a long one. So in 2018 I decided to get a chin and neck skin reduction done by Dr. William El-Masri. I was young and it was my first time getting surgery and really want to reduce my neck fat and length of my chin. I told him how short I wanted it (which was actually a lot) and didn't realize how it might actually unbalance my face. He didn't give any professional suggestions or warnings about how shortening it too much would cause an unbalance but rather go off about how big my nose was and that my nose was just like his (which was big and bulbous) and that I should get rhinoplasty. Everything about this clinic was so unorganized, staff was unprofessional and the aesthetic was dingy looking .. that should have been my warning sign but all I was thinking was how could anyone mess up a chin. Well he did, he botched my face, leaving my chin uneven when I smile and left me with this terrible thick uneven weird long scar under my neck with an additional 2 bumps on each end that look like big pimples. I noticed hardly any difference in the liposuction and neck skin reduction the only thing he succeeded was ruining my lower face. We waited 2 whole weeks to remove my stiches when every other surgery I had always removed them much sooner which is probably why I was left with the two bumps under my chin. Our follow ups were very short and unpleasant, he showed lack of care as if he wanted to leave right as soon as he met me, he looked uninterested in everything. I remember he came up to me right before he was about to leave to tell me that he was going to do my nose and all I could smell was just foul breath to make it worse. Since then I've had a neck lift, submental lipo and a muscle shrinking procedure done by another surgeon who did a fantastic job but because Dr. El-Masri botched my chin you can really see how uneven it is more now that the skin has been tightened. I'm currently in Korea here to do facial contouring to fix the unbalance facial proportions and uneven chin. It's insane because during my consultation here in Korea we did some extensive tests and 3D x ray CT scans to show every angle of my bone structure. The surgeon in Korea even pointed out the uneven and rough bumpy looking bone that Dr. El- Masri had done. I can't wait to get it fixed because my chin looks horrible. Also Dr. El-Masri is the type of guy who would gaslight you into telling you that you're wrong if you were to bring up an issue, he did not have a warm demeanour please avoid this clinic in Yorkville and him!! Oh yeah they offered me small units of Botox I forgot what the reason was but I didn't have to pay for it and the woman at the front counter whose not even a nurse did it for me and the whole time she was "training a women" how to do Botox by using my face. Neither of them were qualified to do that. I got Botox on my chin dimples to try it out and guess what she messed up and I could smile and move my mouth on half a side. I had a crooked smile for over 4 months. Think her name was Cynthia but yes worst clinic I have ever gone to. DO NOT GO HERE

I lost over 70LBS and learned how to maintain that through the process. Dr. Maharaj was very supportive ensuring that I received the attention and care that I needed. During the Fall of 2018 I saw the TV ads and heard the radio Commercials from Ontario Weight Loss Grants Program which were heavily aired during the Fall of 2018 and Winter of 2018/19. I called, and was advised to go with Dalewood Health and Wellness in order to receive the potential 80% maximum of the expenses for the program returned if i lost my goal weight. The first hiccup was when I was advised by Jane Award-Butler that my two credit Card payments of $1475.00 would happen on Nov 23 and Dec 23, and then they took the December payment early without my knowledge. Getting the DNA test was ok, and overall the beginning of the program was what I expected and I was satisfied up until 3 months into my program. After the initial analysis and review of your DNA results, the follow up and support is just plain lacking and not very practical. In their service agreement it states that you get Custom Exercise prescriptions based on Test results, which is very basic exercise programs that you can get off the internet or anywhere, and has never been adapted. In their service agreement it includes "coaching" with your health care team as required by phone, email skype or message board. None of this is true, tangible, evolving or practical. All I got was inspirational email(s) from my dietitian and health coach. However. it essentially equates to spam in my inbox, something along the lines of... "You can do it... The time is now and you can choose to be healthy in this very moment.....Tips which are worthless and I can gather myself on social media. After my 3 month mark in this program NOTHING was helpful, practical or tangible. And ever since the allegations have come to light at Dalewood/Trillium there was staff turnover, changes in positions and increased lack of response to my requests for services. Services which I had pre-paid for I was told I can not schedule anymore (ie. Metabolic test). I finally came to a compromise with Trillium to cancel my services on Oct 15, 2019 for a total refund of $1198 which I was advised to expect in 8 - 10 Weeks. It has now been 18 WEEKS and when I inquired about my refund cheque I was told "Unfortunately I do not have a time frame that I can provide you with at this time." I highly recommend NOT signing up for ANY Weight Loss program with Dalewood/Trilliium if you want a practical, tangible, evolving program to suit your weight loss needs. You will get more bang for your buck by hiring a personal fitness trainer. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!

Trillium/Dalewood are directly tied with WeightLossGrantsOrganization (WLGO) and they work together to do everything possible to make it as hard as possible for the client NOT to get their 80% refund. For example, when I signed up in November 2016, I was told by the then Ottawa director that I only had to lose 20-lbs to receive the grant even though I told her that the WLGO representative told me on the phone that it was 25-lbs. She said that this was a mistake and it was only 20-lbs. She lied since if she was truly just misinformed, she would've inquired with WLGO as to why they told me (and probably hundreds of other clients too) why it was 25-lbs. Later on, neither the Dalewood director or anyone from WLGO bothered to inform me of other absurd rules such as the condition that one of Dalewood's registered dieticians had to perform the final weigh out. In the end, after a nine month ordeal, it wasn't even the Dalewood director that organized for the RD to come do my final weigh-out but the WLGO rep instead (despite the fact that the RD is an employee of Dalewood and not WLGO). If you go on the WLGO testimonial page, you'll probably find one from me praising them and Dalewood/Trillium for their spectacular job, as another absurd condition to receiving the 80% grant is to write them a "Thank You" testimonial!
