In the fast pace and churning energies we are experiencing on personal and collective levels,…read morefinding ways to support the body, mind, and auric energy fields feels less a luxury and more of a necessity. Today, I went to Oasis at the Mill for a delicious Velvet Fog chaga- & kava-infused drink. I also booked a Vibro-Acoustic Therapy session for the first time! I was asked what I was feeling to experience energetically out of the various programs available and I chose "Release". I didn't know what to expect and it turned out to be quite profound and healing on many levels so I want to share my experience. I was taken to a beautiful dark teal room with Tibetan prayer flags overhead...tranquil and inviting. I put on some padded headphones while the program was being initiated, and made myself comfortable on my back on an ergonomically sculpted bed. Resonant music came through the headphones as the bed began to vibrate and undulate, my back and legs receiving a massage-like experience as my entire body felt the resonance of sound healing. My first impression was feeling I was a garden being tilled...old stagnant energy was being lifted and shaken and I felt a renewed energy pouring through me. In time, I connected my experience with the elements, grounding energy of Earth, sinking and flowing as Water, lifting and moving in spirals as Air, and the warmth and blaze of Fire...as these blended into Spirit I began to journey and fell into what felt like a sleep state. I came out of the sleep state as the resonance shifted, and it gently brought me to stillness over several minutes, softening and slowing until the program ended. I felt refreshed and renewed and was already deciding that "Oh, I have to do this on a regular basis!" And, the fact that there are programs to access many energetic states is so exciting! I can say from the bottom of my freshly renewed heart, DO try this new healing opportunity at Oasis at the Mill! It is truly extraordinary!

You're immediately greeted once walk in and the ambiance is just stunning. I wanted to try their teas and got the Mystic Dragon iced w/ a touch on honey, and oh man it was so good and refreshing! If you like green tea that's smooth, slightly vegetal yet aromatic, then this is for you! Bonus is that they also sell ceremonial matcha powder, which is perfect for me since I make my own matcha lattes at home! :) Not only Oasis is just a tea shop, they also offer community classes and events like yoga, sound healing and meditation, and more!

This was my first time going to Draper Blooms. I took my step-daughters, one who had a birthday…read morecoming up. We had two children's tea and I did the Victorian for myself. It is a cute place and the decor is beautiful. The girls had a good time. I do feel that after seeing pictures of previous guests that some of the food must have been scaled back. Previous pics on facebook and google reviews show the food stands full complete with fruit, grapes and such. No macaroons. Just expected to see a lot more on the food disply for the price. The food was delicious though. My only complaint is I did not receive the deviled eggs that comes with the Victorian High Tea. Despite that, I would book this service again for the girls just to see their faces light up. They were so excited and we had fun.

Draper Blooms has been a treat for us many times in the past. Its always been a little pricey but…read moreworth it. Now, under new management, it has really turned into something else. The price has absolutely skyrocketed, an exorbitant tip was added on, they couldnt split the check, and after an hour and a half we were asked to leave to turn the table around. The sandwiches were not as good, the jam and cream not made in house. And pretty sure that lame excuse of some cookies and mini cupcakes, that were prett bad, was storebpught and a huge disappointment. It is NOTHING like the quality we experienced before and definitely not for the money. We will not be returning.
