I was a client back in 2019 I believe. when the ladies saw me they told me I was going to get great results and convinced me to get a whole series of treatments. Toward the end of my series I mentioned I was NOT noticing results. I was then told I wouldn't see results with only doing the series of treatments I had purchased. I was told I would need skin tightening in addition because my skin is too loose. And then I was told they were also getting a new sculpting machine that was like doing 10,000 sit ups and I would need to schedule for that too for the best results. Which was a far cry from what they told me when they talked me into the series of treatments. What happened to getting great results? I was already pretty fit to begin with. I exercised regularly and drank plenty of water daily. If I were to increase the amount of exercise and cut calories and drink more water then that's where any difference would have come from. I am convinced their treatments did nothing except break the bank. I was told that I'm was not getting results because they can't control my diet and other habits. I thought that was a rude way to address my concern. I saw a couple of doctors later who explained I had excellent skin elasticity and my muscle tone is in great shape. I will also say that I over heard them talk about another client not getting results because she was probably drinking big gulps everyday. I recently came across this place on google and read the reviews and one in particular mentioned that the ladies who own it were sitting on the waiting room furniture. I too had a similar experience. I didn't realize the lady that was sitting in a chair was the sister of the owner, possibly co-owner at the time. But I had came in and there was already two customers that had come in together there waiting for a ride to arrive to pick them up and the co-owner was in a chair using her phone. I just stood there in the small waiting area. Then when I was attended to I finally realized that the lady in the chair actually worked there and didn't bother to let me, the customer, have the seat. Lastly I am leaving this review so far down the road because I genuinely hate to be negative about a business so I was just going to move on without complaining. I mean look at all the good reviews. It's 100%possible that it works for some and not for others for reasons outside of anybodies control. But when I read some of the owners responses to a few negative reviews on google I decided I'd post my review. The owner had responded that the only people who complain have unrealistic expectations. I think when you spend hundreds of dollars it is fair to have expectations of good results. I highly doubt that everyone who complains was off drinking big gulps and eating fries. Besides if u change nothing about your diet no more, no less, the services should do something. I saw nothing on scale, nothing on measurements and nothing visually noticeable. Today as I was driving to Modesto, a company car with this businesses information on the back window almost crashed into me and my family. My husband had to slam on his breaks. This didn't happen once but twice. We were driving in the fast lane and this car came flying up on the right side of us. There were cars in front of us and this car cut us off (squeezing in between us and the car in front of us) then hit their breaks. Which made my husband have to slam on his breaks. All this just for the car to get back into the lane they were in already. About a minute after the car got back into the lane to the right, a motorcycle got in front of them and they AGAIN cut us off almost taking out the front of our bumper. My husband again had to break pretty hard. All this to say, this business owner does not care that I have kids in my car, they didn't care if they caused an accident, they were too wrapped in their own selfishness and thinking about getting to where they were going fast. read more

Amazing day spa! Easy to book, service was amazing and we loved Donetta the owner who was super kind.

Membership review-Honest and long : I bought a monthly membership. Photos were taken the first visit only. No other photos were ever taken over the 4 weeks (8sessions). I was told I could not have cavitation because my skin was already sagging. Ok? However after consulting with someone else with more years of experience in body contouring, I was told RF skin tightening goes with cavitation, If sagging skin is a concern. Since I moved on from body bar I have had cavitation and lost 6 inches on the first session. I have no clue if I ever lost any inches at body bar because I got no feedback, measuring or photos. The owner of the Body bar told me that I could only get skin tightening with laser for 4 sessions x 30 mins (2hrs max for a month) and EM sculpt (4 sessions). I never felt anything with em sculpt and I learned it is not recommended for bmi over 35. I am over that. Over all I wasted $810 for the membership. It was posted as $749 however $61 in tax was added to services (not goods). I was fortunate enough to find another body contouring business that charged one third of the price and did 100% better job. I now get skin tightening, Laser lipo, cavitation and wood therapy in 1 hour . The results are impressive when some one cares about their clients and puts in the work to help their client reach contouring goals. In addition even after I told body bar that I wanted to cancel membership I was charged the following month $810. When I addressed it and voiced my concerns about never receiving photos , follow up or measurements I was insulted and disrespected. Never an apology for oversite for membership or lack of photos. Instead the owner attempted to attack my weight. If you had a problem with my size say you don't service clothing size 16 women before you take $810 from them . Still with hard work and dedication,I lost 14 pounds during that month due to lifestyle change and exercise but the body bar owner did not know this because she did not discuss my progress ever. My result were not due to 2 hrs monthly total of laser lipo . The owner stated they only take measurements if you ask. So do you just eyeball the client for progress? Also, In the first visit I tried on 4 different waist trainers instead of her measuring my waist and grabbing the proper size trainer. I will never recommend this place because they do not perform a complete service with knowledge and care. PS I kept all aggressive and disrespectful emails from owner in case behavior is denied. read more

I'm surprised there aren't any reviews posted for her body bar yet. First off this place is amazing and I'm so blessed that I found it. The atmosphere and environment are inviting and the owner Donetta and her sister Tanisha are both sweethearts. During your visit, they make sure to take care of you and listen to your needs, and will even talk with you about your future goals. I started with a Groupon and for the Laser Lipo and ended up purchasing one of their Her Lux Packages and it was a great decision. Donetta makes it so easy to feel comfortable during treatments. She is extremely knowledgeable and a true expert of her craft. Honest, long review: This body bar is owned by two sisters, located in Sola Salon. The suite is cute but compact, they divided the place to be able to service 3 people at once so it does get crowded. When I first walked in, the sister was more attentive to her phone than greeting me, she gave me 6+ page doc to fill out. After 5 min of filling it out, I handed it back to her, but she never even glance or read over my answers. She didn't even offer me to sit down, there was a chair, that she was sitting in, and there was another seat, but I didnt want to sit on it because it was cover with pillows and didnt look stable, so I was standing awkwardly filling out my forms. She then took before photos of me. Still didn't ask me about my body concerns, problems areas or consulted me to see what my body goals were. I lay in the bed, as she prepare the emsculpt on me. Obviously I was a new customer, and she didn't even explain to me what is going on, what to expect, not even the after care directions/suggestions. After my session, she gave me a bottle of water (which I appreciate); she took after photos. I ask about other services, but she didn't go into detail. I got my deal from groupon 50% off for $99 emsculpt. I kinda felt judge for using a groupon, practically receive no customer service, although the sister was upbeat.I felt the service was impersonal, I was not educated in any of the services, benefits or expected results, I basically google all my questions. She only checked on me once during my service. The reason I'm giving this place 2 star is because I was actually very excited for my first emsculpt and the service was uninviting, the sister was not concern to know my sculpting goals, not even once, asking me a question of why I came in, this was a huge turn-off. I was treated like groupon cattle. I also notice the machines are not the fanciest ones that are used in the industry. No offense by any means, but the sisters are not in good shape, so I cant help but question that, in running a body sculpting business. It would be nice while you're signing up for treatment that you're informed of the regimen in order to get noticeable results. For a professional pricey business I would think I'd be informed but I guess I had to do research on Yelp and Instagram. I wasn't aware that you had to drink 64 oz of water everyday and keep a straight workout exercise workout in order for the results to be successful. I did drink that amount of water, I did my exercise and I barely got any results. Had I been told that I needed to do all those things, I would have waited to make my appointment have significant amount of mommy belly fat , had I been told that my results weren't going to really be significant I would not have spent $750 for my treatments . They also don't tell you that you will miss a treatment because of your menstrual , they advise you to skip the treatment and pick another treatment. But I was unsatisfied with that because I figure I'm focusing on my belly so I should have all of my treatments done on my belly .
