    Dr Heppner is awesome and always makes me feel better! The receptionist could be a little nicer, though!

Dr. Hay does nothing Pain Scale 0 November 10, 2014 Hospitalized; Salem Hospital extensive blood clots in both lungs Prescribed Warfarin Thursday April 30, 2015 Appointment with Dr. Hay; Informed that kidney stones on left side are 5-6mm in size. Dr. Hay does nothing. Pain Scale 5 Friday June 12, 2015 Appointment with Dr. Hay; Informed that two kidney stones on left side are 10mm in size. Several other smaller stones as well. Dr. Hay changes Rx from hydrochlorothiazide to Chlorthalidone. Pain Scale 8 Saturday June 20, 2015 Visit to Salem Hospital ER; Admitted Pain Scale 9 Sunday June 21, 2015 IVC Filter implanted to prevent Blood Clots from reaching heart & lungs. Taken off Warfarin Monday June 22, 2015 Dr. Hay Informs he's releasing me from Hospital. After phone conversation with my wife, he changes his mind. I get the sense he has no clue as to how to proceed? May be his reason wanting to discharge me??? Wednesday June 24, 2015 Nephrostomy tube inserted through back and into left Kidney in preparation for stone removal on Thursday. Thursday June 25, 2015 Kidney stones removed Nephrostomy tube removed CT scan done Friday June 26, 2015 Released from Salem Hospital Thursday July 2, 2015 Appointment with Dr. Hay; Informed everything went well, stones were removed from left side Given 5 minute lecture on why I won't get blood clots Sunday July 5, 2015 Woke up in extreme pain, worst ever experienced. Monday July 6, 2015 (Early Morning hours) Visit to West Valley Hospital ER; informed that there were blood clots from top of abdomen down past groin. Transported by Ambulance from Dallas, Or. To Portland, Or. Admitted into OHSU-ICU Blood Clots dissolved by EKO procedure (??) Tuesday July 7, 2015 Develop large hematoma on back of right knee. Wednesday July 8, 2015 Warfarin restarted along with Enoxaparin Sodium injections Friday July 10, 2015 Released from OHSU-ICU Monday July 13, 2015 Enoxaparin injections stopped. Reached Therapeutic INR levels Tuesday August 4, 2015 Appointment with Dr. Petrunin Hematologist Talked about removing IVC Filter. Decided to keep it.. Friday August 7, 2015 Ultrasound at Salem Hospital Monday August 24, 2015 IVC Filter removed. Wednesday August 12, 2015 Appointment with Dr. Brian Duty Urologist at OHSU Refers me to a Nutritionist Plans to take X-Rays every 3-4 months to check for the Kidney Stones. Friday August 28, 2015 Informed Dr. Duty via text msg, that I was having right side flank pain Pain Scale 4 Sunday August 30, 2015 Informed by Dr. Duty via text message that the June 25, 2015 CT scan shows several small stones in both left and right kidneys. I'm extremely angry with Dr. Hay. Also stress is very high. Monday August 31, 2015 Call to Willamette Urology Clinic, requested to change doctors from Dr. Hay to Dr. Bashey. Informed them I no longer had faith or confidence in Dr. Hay Thursday September 3, 2015 Appointment with Dr. Richard Craft my PCP. CT scan denied by insurance Co. X-Ray ordered. Friday September 4, 2015 Call to Dr. Hay's office to cancel September 10, 2015 appointment. Informed Julie that I will no longer be Dr. Hay's patient. My request to change Doctors is still pending. Wednesday September 9, 2015 X-ray (KUB) done at Salem Hospital per orders of Dr. Craft Copy sent to Dr. Duty at OHSU Call to Willamette Urology, request to change doctors still pending. Thursday September 10, 2015 Phone appointment with Dr. Brian Duty October 13, 2015 All remaining stones were removed at OHSU by Dr Brian Duty. Wednesday June 1, 2016 For the first time in years, I'm Stone free after 8 months. Dr. Hay removes only the largest stones, failing to mention the small ones, thus creating a nice consistent flow of business. Not to mention insurance money. There's more money in several procedures than in one procedure.
