If you don't know your wine, this is a pretty f@#%$ great place to start.
The cellar door itself is cosy and cute, with beautiful quaint gardens around the grounds, but lets be honest - you're probably here for the wines.
Despite the name this place has, the tasting is free (amazing...Vic wineries take note) and everything is top, top notch. There's a few bargains to be found (anything under $30 is a steal for this quality) and if you're lucky one of the big guys might be open to taste (don't hold your breath for the famous Hill of Grace though...maybe one day you'll pass my lips!).
The staff are all knowledgeable and lovely. Make sure you stick your head in the wine making room next door and inhale that amazing aroma. Only slight downside is the acoustics when you have a full crowd in the small cellar door - you have to lean over the counter to hear the stories behind the wines.
