There were 3 people working when I went and they were all busy helping customers. I brought a flash drive and was notified that the copiers themselves have print capabilities. The machines are all updated which was awesome. I basically put in my credit card, inserted the flash drive, and it printed. All without a person or formal computer. It's very convenient.

Staples on Bank street. Absolutely terrible customer service. Will not shop there again. I tried to…read morereturn defective printer ink cartridges but they would not reimburse me as they were not in original box. I was communicating with Brother to see if problem was my printer or ink. They said ink was defective probably stored incorrectly. Brother kindly offered to send me replacement. Staples said that since Brother was sending me ink cartridges for free they didn't not need to reimburse me . They asked for a note from Brother saying staples should reimburse me. Brother stated they cannot dictate Staples return policy and apologized for my inconvenience. The staff I dealt with should not be working in customer service. Very rude, unhelpful. I was actually quite appalled . Staples should replace their defective products.

The staff was always light-hearted and the prices were very reasonable. I even tried to get a job there - it was such a great place. The only downside is the hours - they are closed at 6pm during the week and that really caught me off guard one night when I really needed their help.

We had arranged to meet Abdul to look at cost etc. He was very calm, patient and knowledgeable! We agreed on the plan and waited to have our order processed. Unfortunately, the computer system went down and we had to wait a couple of hours to have everything done. It certainly wasn't the fault of the staff. Abdul and the store manager, Sarah( I believe she is the manager) were absolutely fantastic! They felt terrible about our having to wait, offering to buy us food and drink. While waiting for everything to be done, I noticed Sarah and another of the staff speaking with a young man who clearly had an intellectual disability. I was blown away by how kind and patient Sarah and the other staff member were to this individual. That so rarely happens in our world. In the end, all five or six employees were helping to get our new phones ready for us. I was blown away by the service! Bravo to Sarah, Abdul and the entire staff at the Source in the Rideau Centre!! I'll give you the honest truth here ok?…read more When my favourite cameras have been through some unfortunate circumstances (like my 3-year old daughter knocking over a wine glass and the wine spilling onto my Canon G9 P&S), I looked for ways to get it fixed and bring it back to life. I've taken two cameras to be repaired at this place. Each time, the gentleman working there looks at it for 5 seconds and has told me there's nothing he can do unless I spend the original value of the camera (like $400, which he knows isn't worthwhile). Then he proposes to buy the camera "for parts" for $100 cash. He makes it look like my situation is so bad but he can just take it off my hands for me. The first time he did this, I said fine and took the cash. The second time, I refused because I realized that he most likely buys my camera for very little, repairs it himself for nothing, and then makes a profit off my misery. For the record, I've never tried to substantiate my hunch. So I've kept the 2nd camera, replaced it with a newer one, and leave it sitting in my camera bag as a paper weight. It's now out of date and struggles to work 50% of the time. It's a 3 pound piece of metal and plastic to remind me that I have to be even more careful of my camera gear. The guy/owner probably knows his stuff. He seems to have an excellent selection in photo gear. But that taste that was left in my mouth from my last two visits... priceless.
