Henry installed a Midea U window AC. The Midea AC is highly rated for efficiency and quietness. It's also identified as "tricky" or difficult to install. Henry with help from Carlos was able to get the job done in a reasonable time with what looks like a solid, safe installation. I would definitely recommend him as a capable handyman. read more

Henry did a wonderful job cleaning up/painting my laundry room closet. I had a vent hole that caused a lot of lint that was stuck to the walls and floor -- plus, I had a small leak (I didn't know about) that caused water damage to my baseboards. Henry cleaned it all up and painted the closet after removing the prior washer/dryer stack. I am hiring him to come back and paint as well as other jobs needed. Thank you, Henry! read more

Henry came in to replace a portions of my siding. He told me that he will add flashing (drip edge) in between the top and bottom piece of siding. At the time, I wasn't sure what flashing for siding even looked like. So I thought that it was installed. I found out after that a flashing must be installed between top and bottom pieces of siding. I was initially, not even going to give Henry a review because he charged me for 8 hours of work, when he only worked 6.5 hours and I would have been fine with that if the install was done correctly. I try to give folks the benefit of the doubt and take a passive approach if its not that bad. But when I found out that he skipped a process on the siding install, I decided to write this review. I know have to get someone else to re-do this job. I would consider using a proper general contractor. read more

I hired Henry to install some Solar lights all over my backyard. They did a splendid job. He is a little pricey but does a good job.

My parents had an old ball joint shower that needed replacing. Henry helped with that and fixed the leak, then helped with some electrical stuff in the backyard. Henry’s Handyman - The "after" pic from new light installation - Handyman Near Me

Replacing a washer/dryer unit, the unit was delivered and then I was told the gas line was too large. So in order to get the washer re-delivered and installed, I needed someone quickly to do the repair. Henry's Handyman came out the next day, made an assessment, returned 2 days later to make the repair, my washer/dryer arrived 2 days later. Everything is good, so grateful! read more

I used them twice already, they took care of the problem very quickly and efficiently. I will definitely use them again.

Henry came and assessed the problem. He gave me a price quote which I agreed with. He and an assistant came the next day and repaired the area where my roof leaks. He found a few holes which he repaired with tar and extra flashing. He also took many pictures to highlight what had been done. It was a very professional job. Now just have to wait for the rains and see how it all works. read more

Only reason I gave Mr. Rios 4 stars is sometimes I had communication problems, although he was pretty good about using his phone translator. He is very caring about making sure you are happy with his work he installed 28 ceiling lights for me and installed 5 in base boards thought out my whole house, and I think he did an excellent job there were a lot of corner cuts that had to be done. I would recommend Mr Rios. Fran S read more

Terrible service. Henry was unprofessional. He wasn't pleasant when we met. He was late to the pick up site. I still I gave him an extra $100 on good faith that he would return the next day to do the main job I needed help with and he agreed then turned around and bailed on me last minute late that night same night. He also didn't tell me he was bringing an additional person. He was rude, unprofessional and not honest or reliable. I will never use his services ever again. He definitely didn't deserve that additional $100 on a $150 charge. Waste of my money and time. Don't bother with this guy you will be disappointed. read more

The gaskets surrounding my roof vent pipes were cracked out and needed repair. I found Henry through Yelp and he responded to my request right away. He arrived at my house a little ahead of schedule, which is a definite plus. I elaborated as to the specific requirements and he got right to work. He understood exactly what was required, how to get the job done, and went about it with quiet professionalism. After the work was complete he showed me photographs of what he had done (since this work was done on the roof I did not have direct access). The quality, thoroughness, and overall completeness of the repair was impressive. I had viewed some online videos on the subject, what Henry did was well beyond these instructional videos. This reflects his extensive experience in construction and home service, and really illustrates his talents as a handyman. I am very happy with Henry's work and would be happy to hire him again. read more

Henry was prompt and friendly and he was super communicative before he arrived. I was so impressed at how he came prepared and tackled a wide variety of tasks on my list (dealing with a pesky stripped screw, fixing two ancient door latches, removing a door, hanging a light fixture, and laying a rug that required Tetris-like furniture moving). I will definitely hire him again. read more

Henry and his assistant did an excellent job. They even arrived early; which was a plus. They did everything on the list. They went above and beyond to get something done that proved to be difficult. Henry communicated very well in making arrangements to schedule the job. I would highly recommend Henry and his assistant. read more

We had an appointment to see him this morning for an estimate and he didn't show up. Henry said he was here but was no where to be found. (After waiting two times for two weeks I honestly believe he was never interested in our projects to begin with). He then said he was sorry and had to leave within minutes of "arriving". We are very disappointed that he waisted our time! I can not recommend him to anyone since he is dishonest and unreliable. read more

Henry showed up on time and did a good job. He is also responsive which is an added plus.

Henry came over to our apartment immediately after I called him and did a small, quick job removing our bathroom door, so I could use a wheelchair in the bathroom. His price was very low. I'd definitely hire him again if needed. He was easy to work with and very efficient. read more

Henry came out to repair a hole in my exterior wall that was too high for my ladder to reach. Had a couple of problems at our home, damaged wood fencing and a rusted, leaking outside hose valve. Henry repaired both at a very reasonable price. It was hard work. Fence company and plumber would have cost much more. Will use again. read more

I requested a quote through Yelp and he responded with a specific date and time to arrive. He wasn't the handyman that I was originally requesting a quote from but he actually did the work for less than what the other handyman quoted. I had a broken lazy susan in my rental kitchen cabinet. Another handyman could not fix and suggested a complicated workaround costing $400+ and a lot of time to fix. Henry was in and out with his crew quickly. He also helped me solve a problem with a pocket door, not closing all the way. He just gets it done - and done quickly, which is exactly what I need. read more

He was knowledgeable and very efficient. I would hire this company again. The work looks great. He was so professionañ
