Our appointment was at 1:20 so I showed up at 1 to complete our intake paperwork. We were promptly ushered into our appointments afterward. The office staff was lovely and helped us contact our old dental offices for xrays (since insurance wouldn't cover them within 5 years) to help me avoid an unnecessary $70 fee. The dental hygienists were skilled and my son (not a fan of dental visits) was comfortable. He asks a ton of questions ("what is acid") and the hygienist was calm and patient with him. The dentist was prompt after my cleaning and the office staff was again very kind and quick to get me scheduled for my next visit and out the door. Overall, one of the best experiences I've had at a dentist office in a long time.

Made to wait 35 minutes for a 1:30 appointment. The excuse was that they were 'down one assistant…read moreand a dentist.' Clearly, they knew this before 1:30 and if they cared at all about honoring their patients' time, they should have called to say that they were running a half-hour late. If I were 35 minutes late, I would have had to pay $60 and made to reschedule. Second, the new upper plate I was getting that day was so, so far off from fitting, it was almost laughable. It was obvious just from looking at it that it in no way was going to fit my mouth. I have to wait to get a new impression made (in three weeks!) and then it will be another two weeks before the replacement will be ready. It's coming from the same lab that so royally screwed up already, so I'm not holding my breath. Third, in preparing a lower tooth for a bridge, the dentist had to drill away at a healthy tooth. OK, fine, that's how it's done. However, she left a quite visible, very sharp point that is now tearing up the inside of my check. I have to call tomorrow to see how fast they can fit me in to fix that, and then drive 80+ minutes round trip to fix something that should never have happened to begin with. All in all, I so very much wish I had continued to go to the U of M Dental School for my dental needs. Their work is perfection at every step, and MUCH cheaper than a practicing dentist. Had I done so, I would have had everything done and in my mouth before Thanksgiving, but I was trying to get someone closer to where I live. Big mistake!

I'm so grateful to have found Dr. Rider for the procedure I needed done. It's comforting going…read moreforward to know that in the event I need an oral surgeon in the future that I already know an excellent one to call. I went to my dentist after starting to have sensitivity in my lower rear teeth, but I was unable to identify exactly which tooth. He did notice a chip on the edge of the wisdom tooth but didn't seem concerned about it. After x-rays and a course of anti-biotics, I returned to him with the same concern. He then recommended a root cannel on the tooth in front of the wisdom tooth thinking it was causing the concern since it had been recently crowned. I wanted a second opinion, so I found Dr Rider and called and was offered an appointment only 4 days later. Dr Riders office performs 3D imagining which was done at the start of my appointment. Immediately after Dr Rider saw the image, she was able to identify the root cause of my sensitivity. Even though there was no visible decay on the outside of my wisdom tooth the interior had a hole caused by decay causing my sensitivity. Dr Rider recommended removing the tooth and my dental anxiety kicked into high gear. Dr Rider then gave me a couple of options to help with the anxiety, so I choose gas along with the numbing shots. Dr Rider then performed the extraction quickly and painlessly. Had I not found Dr Rider I would have been given a root cannel on a perfectly good tooth only to find that I still suffered from sensitivity. Thank You Dr Rider, Don

The phone was answered quickly and I talked to a real person. I was asked if I preferred a male or female doc. So important as so many women have been sexually violated and wouldn't feel comfortable exposing their body to a male. I was very impressed that Dr Bullach had accessed and read my electronic medical record and so was already familiar w my medical history. I arrived in the morning on a Sunday. There was no wait to get into an exam room and very short wait for the Doc.

Despite my request and despite clearly needing health precautions, he refused to wear a mask. Keep in mind that during an eye exam, he would be breathing on me from mere inches away. For someone with a semi-medical degree to ignore the science so blatantly and put his own patients at risk is inexcusabl, immoral, and unprofessional. He's a disgrace to the term 'doctor.' Fortunately the other optometrist, Dr. Frannsem, cheerfully wore a mask. Tamara, the woman who helped select frames with me was perfectly willing to put on a mask. If I could rate her separately, it would be five stars! She obviously cares about the patients, and was enormously helpful in finding exactly the right frames for me. Bottom line: if you can't go to another optometrist and have to go to Gregory Optical, make sure you make your appointment with Dr. Frannsem. Even if you don't care about your health-care provider masking up, obviously Carter is in it for the money and not for his the health of the patients.

Until a few years ago my primary dentist here was Dr. Daryl Frederick. Hands down on top of the latest technology dentistry offered, was continually going to conferences to get updated or learning new cosmetic applications as they came out. He sent staff to continue learning as well. The chair side experience was excellent. So when he announced his retirement you can imagine my disappointment. Dr. Frederick spent a few years finding his replacement - he wasn't just going to pass it on to just any dentist. ( I haven't personally thanked you for this but "thank you.") But I was skeptical thinking now is the time to "dentist shop". I decided to at least give the new doc a try. Fast forward again. I met Dr. Firas Belbeisi and after exchanging conversation I came away with a calmness thinking this might just be okay. Today I am inspired to write this review to pass along to you perhaps looking for a change with your dentist or a new move to the area looking to find a new one, give this office a call. From the warm up front office staff, the business office, to the dental assistants that clean your teeth and help with procedures with Dr.Belbeisi I am sure you will have a positive experience. One stop shopping with coming in for a new crown is impressive. I enjoyed watching my new tooth made utilizing the CAD machine. No more impressions. And no more coming back to the office a second time to have the permanent one put on. After this new crown Dr. Belbeisi gave me a personal call to check and see how things were going. He is extremely interested in your well being and makes sure you are satisfied with the work he does. And I hear they are looking into putting TV's in each room. Going to the dentist isn't on the top of anyone's fun list but this might help ease the anxiety.

With how long it was taking, I thought they put her under and never said anything - wouldn't surprise me. Take home paperwork for the procedure and the website has different instructions for how long to leave the gauze in mouth than what my mom was verbally told. Paperwork and website says 30-45 minutes, she was told 20 From what I've heard from my mom... the staff is sweet, but, these two incidents make me never want my mom, family or I to go here again.
