I began looking online for other irrigation companies and came across glowing reviews for My Sprinkler Repairman (615-578-0014). We called right away and to my surprise, Lane, the owner, told me they would be at our home within an hour and half. Lane came with his crew, and we were glad he brought with him Bill and Isaiah. The job was more complicated than we expected, and we definitely needed all three of them. Lane displayed incredible knowledge and expertise not only in being able to locate the source of the leak but also in working out a plan for handling this challenging repair. It turned out that an irrigation pipe had been cracked by a large root that had grown around it. Lane, Bill, and Isaiah worked patiently to make sure that they removed the root without causing damage to other parts of the irrigation system. The job was done and done perfectly in less than two hours. In this day and age, when we are always concerned about the training and competence of the personnel at irrigation companies, we are indeed grateful for the superb and effective level of service that Lane and his company provide. We are so glad we found him, and we will continue to rely on him for all of our sprinkler needs.

I've struggled for a bit with my upstairs HVAC unit. The unit was poorly installed, low quality,…read moreand way oversized. When I first moved in, it sounded like a freight train was taking off when the second stage kicked in, and papers/curtains would literally fly around the room. I've had two other techs come look at it so far. The first tech disconnected the second stage, which caused a ton of humidity issues last summer. The second tech said he could dump the extra air in the garage or outside. I gave up last year and ran a dehumidifier to make it through the end of summer. This summer, I decided I'd try one more time before looking at replacement units. Ben Fraser from Roscoe Brown came out and spent quite a bit of time digging in. He found one major issue - the TXV was not set properly, so the unit was not cooling properly. He reconfigured the valve and reconnected the 2nd stage. Finally, he adjusted the airflow to be much more reasonable for the ductwork. The result is much cooler air, much better dehumidification, and no more freight train! It's not perfect, but it will keep me from having to buy a new unit for several more years. The price was fairly high compared to some of the non-name-brand techs, but the results were great. I was happy with the price considering the results.

Quick response: I called and they answered and were able to set up an appointment the following day. 2. Timeliness: Preston actually arrived between 12-1pm like he said he was. 3. He came and took a look and offered his time and expertise to answer some of our mold questions. 4. He said our problem was small. Unfortunately, they only do tear out and drying, (which we were going to do ourselves) but not replace the sheet rock. 5. If we ever have a situation we're we needed some serious drying power or tear out, I will definitely remember IRS/Independent Restoration Services and give them a call.
