I've walked by this place many times, but this was the first time I actually ate here. They are always quite busy, with people eating or ordering take away beverages. My friend ordered the caramel toast... Looked delightful, but two slices was too much. I ordered the Turkish eggs which had a wide variety of unusual ingredients put together in one dish. I thoroughly enjoyed this unique breakfast. We also ordered coffees, and my cappuccino was delicious. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant isn't huge, but it was cute and comfortable. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because of the cost, which seemed a bit high for breakfast. read more

Another cafe to tick off my list! Arrived around 11am and it was already packed. We waited at least 10 minutes before we were seated. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the pancakes which came with sliced apples, fig, peach and maple syrup topped with ice cream. The pancake itself is just 1 but it covered the size of my place = huge! It was more a dense style. My friend got the banana bread and she said it was lovely. My niece got herself sourgough toast with Nutella - such as large serving and they didnt hold back on the nutella! Staff were attentive and friendly. Busy cafe. Good coffee too. read more

Clearly the best cafe in Penrith, but that's no compliment. But it's also one of the best cafes in Sydney. Serving up a range of brunch and lunch dishes as well as good coffee, this place delivers on the food front. I've tried a range of dishes such as pork belly, pancakes, French toast, pork rolls and they have all been excellent. The fit out is typical for a modern cafe with exposed beams and the odd bit of exposed brickwork. It's a smallish place which gives the place a warm feeling. The downside is that it can often be full meaning a wait for a table is likely in peak times. Prices are spot on for a good cafe and I'm more than happy to pay what they're asking. All round, a top cafe by Australian standards. Forget that it's located in Penrith and just enjoy what they're producing. Awesome. read more

Good option to grab a bite and coffee. Menu was a bit too hipster .. hipster descriptions but some easy descriptions and options that don't try too hard would be good. Or maybe I'm just getting old! There are a few good coffee shops in Penrith but this one stands alone at the top. Undoubtedly the best coffee in Penrith and possibly Sydney. Now that they have opened up new extensions there is room for more however if you get there and have to wait for a table it's certainly worth the wait. Great coffee, service, food and décor. What can I say about Henri Marc that it's charismatic staff hasn't exemplified during my stay in Australia. Should I say the food was gorgeous, the atmosphere enchanting, the aesthetic rustic with a twist of modernism, or should I say that I felt at home in place that's 7,448 miles away? Yes all of these would be true, but I'll say that if you have the pleasure of enjoying the presence of the management of this establishment I'd highly recommend it. Not only Are Sophia & Aaron world class chiefs they understand customer service at a level one can only dream of. The meticulousness of the way they prepare their dishes, the standard they hold their staff to, and the cleanliness of their establishment was extraordinary for an American visiting a far away land. Nevertheless, if you have the means and the time, visit Henri Marc and be enchanted by the people that make it so amazing!!! read more

I just stopped in here for the first time,and I think this is probably one of the best cafes in Sydney, prices are reasonable, the place was warm,comfortable and cosy. I finally have access to a fabulous cafe in Penrith. Found this place via good cafe guide as one of the newer cafes, and boy was I impressed, since I wasn't really expecting so much. Firstly, the interior and over all feel of the cafe is very much 'hipster', lots of attention to detail portrayed through the decor and yes, cleanliness. Coffee is quite good, a little too acidic in my opinion, however, not bad at all. I had the chorizo and mushroom dish, came with sourdough. Everything was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavour. Also recommend cinnamon toast, absolutely divine! This place is quite charming, DEFINATELY a must for cafe lovers like myself! read more

This is always a must for us to bring people to try. The vibe, the coffee, the variety of food for my husband and I (him being a meat eater, and me plant based). So impressed by the staff and the food. They were fully packed with customers but still managed to bring our coffees to us and our amazingly presented food out in record time. What is it with Penrith and signs... they seem to be missing! Spent 10 mins at the location trying to find the cafe. No sign of it! Finally worked out that the sheet covered windows of a shop in the side street (mall actually) was Henri Marc's because I could just make out the faded lettering on the window. Seems that they are closed on Mons & Tues - boo! read more

2.5 star because this place is so not kid friendly. they have nice food at a slightly higher price than other place. I don't mind going coming here IF I don't have to bring my baby. Being a full time mom, my son is always by my side and my priority. This place does not even have a high chair to start with. I can't become a regular if my child cant even have a high chair. Consider the place is quite small. They are way too strict with their menu. My husband and I was having breakfast the other day. I asked the owner if I can have an extra serve of mash for my 12 months old baby. She refused to because it's not on their menu. I feel slightly disappointed. Only wish if they are more children friendly. read more
