Semolina porridge with quince, blueberries & walnuts. Very good.

Clearly the best cafe in Penrith, but that's no compliment. But it's also one of the best cafes in Sydney. Serving up a range of brunch and lunch dishes as well as good coffee, this place delivers on the food front. I've tried a range of dishes such as pork belly, pancakes, French toast, pork rolls and they have all been excellent. The fit out is typical for a modern cafe with exposed beams and the odd bit of exposed brickwork. It's a smallish place which gives the place a warm feeling. The downside is that it can often be full meaning a wait for a table is likely in peak times. Prices are spot on for a good cafe and I'm more than happy to pay what they're asking. All round, a top cafe by Australian standards. Forget that it's located in Penrith and just enjoy what they're producing. Awesome.

Good option to grab a bite and coffee. Menu was a bit too hipster .. hipster descriptions but some easy descriptions and options that don't try too hard would be good. Or maybe I'm just getting old! Coffeewas good. Banana bread was good. Vibe was nice. Place was busy. Staff were friendly.

Local cafe, location is quite good, easy to find. Food r normal food, but presentation is beautiful. The staff r nice, but eager to clean the table. Sometimes I feel they really want us finish quickly..

the waitress there was so lovely! she had an accent and her eyeliner was on point HAHHA she's nice! I love his place. wish they split bills tho. the food was awesome! not too pricy and the tea was divine wish the ice wasn't so big though. HOWEVER! what a cute place for a date or a small get together with a friend!!

I just stopped in here for the first time, and I think this is probably one of the best cafes in Sydney, prices are reasonable, the place was warm, comfortable and cosy. I did enjoy the atmosphere indeed. I had a chorizo dish which was followed by a tasty latte and both of them were good enough to make me convinced to go back

Salmon tacos was second place to mushroom chorizo plate.... Yum!!!

I finally have access to a fabulous cafe in Penrith. Found this place via good cafe guide as one of the newer cafes, and boy was I impressed, since I wasn't really expecting so much. Firstly, the interior and over all feel of the cafe is very much 'hipster', lots of attention to detail portrayed through the decor and yes, cleanliness. Coffee is quite good, a little too acidic in my opinion, however, not bad at all. I had the chorizo and mushroom dish, came with sourdough. Everything was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavour. Also recommend cinnamon toast, absolutely divine! This place is quite charming, DEFINATELY a must for cafe lovers like myself!

The food tastes sensational and the staff are great! Can't beat the atmosphere either. Nicest cafe in western Sydney!

The menu boasts a wide range of delicious options, however I do recommend some changes. I ordered a Vanilla Espresso Protein Shake, and it came out watery and to be honest, didn't taste very desirable. However I understand the current predicament and it seemed to be very busy, it really wasn't too much of an issue. I was contemplating this and the Iced Coffee, but didn't know it the coffee was blended or not. In future it would be nice if that would be specified. Now regarding the food, it was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Açai bowl, it was so good and the presentation was so beautifully done. It tasted as good as it looked as well, I wish there was more! It was a nice meal for breakfast and filled me up without making me feel sick. The only thing I would like to note is that the meals come out at the same time. My order came out 20 minutes before my friends, it was hard to resist the look of my Açai bowl. Other than that, it was a delightful breakfast and start to the day. I recommend to everyone and I'm sure Emu Hall is a restaurant fit for all occasions. A true gem!

Food and drinks are always delivered to your table within a reasonable time frame. I am not a hot coffee drinker, but asked my coffee-fiend friend what she thought of hers (I believe she had a regular cappuccino) and she couldn't fault it. I had some of their famous waffles which are SO DELICIOUS. The fruit is fresh and they make the waffles right there (no re-heating). I also tried a cupcake and a macron and they were yummy (it was a big day for my stomach). I also like how they've started to introduce gluten-free and dairy-free options, as some of my friends can't tolerate gluten or dairy. The interior is quirky and vintage land which makes it stand out in Penrith. Waffle Co reminds me of one of the funky and hip cafes you'd find down a back alley in Melbourne, except it's in western sydney! It really does make it stand out from the regular run-of-the-mill cafes around here.
