Wow! Kim is so amazing it's hard to know where to start. Let's start with this: if you're thinking of getting some henna work done definitely go to Kim. Kim is such a beautiful positive soul, she's is a pleasure to be around. I came to her at 9:30 on a Friday and we ended up just talking and hoola hooping for an hour before we even really talked about my henna. When we did get around to discussing what I had in mind she was one of the best listeners I've ever talked to. Without a whole lot of direction she created the perfect piece for me. I was interested in getting a henna tattoo because a traditional one wasn't an option due to being in chemotherapy. I contacted one place and that person never contacted back. However, when I contacted Kim she was very prompt in her response. We set up a meeting that same day and she was awesome. Kim was very knowledgeable and presented a sweet spirit. There was no problem with cleanliness and her customer service is as good as it gets. She is good at what she does and gives you great instruction on how to care for your henna tattoo. Full disclosure: HennaKim is one of my favorite friends. I was recently in a car accident and am now in physical therapy with massage as a part of the prescription. Kim is masterful -- we mutually had the idea to let her feel around my back to find and release the injuries first to see what she could find with virgin hands -- and boy did she. It took about a day after the massage to feel the full effects, but I haven't felt that good in months. So much so, I just took a break from writing this review to schedule another massage next week. I had a lesson with Kim last week and loved it! she is so relaxed and fun. Poi is such a lovely art from and Kim clearly knows her stuff. I love her theory not choreography approach. I have gotten many henna tattoos from her and they are beautiful and last a long time, Although she has samples of her work to choose from, I have always given her a basic idea of what I want and let her work her magic. They always turn out beautifully. I have also taken a poi lesson and hula hooped with her. I am not very good, but the way she moves is lovely. I purchased a hoop from Kim that she made just for me, in my favorite color. I took a beginners class that was included with my hoop, and had a blast! Kim is very knowledgable, patient, enthusiastic, and a great teacher. Even though I had only one class, I walked away feeling able to perform several skills. I went on to have her make a hoop for both of my daughters, that she made just for them. Now we have an activity that we can all do together. She was amazing teaching them the basics, and really reaching them on a kid's level. Kim gave me information on local meet-ups where my daughters and I can hoop as well.
