When I walked in the door, I was immediately greeted. Which-- isn't the case in other nail salons. The music was relaxing. There are live plants growing. The technicians all had a very kindly and upbeat personality. I immediately felt at ease. Instead of the typical waiting period, I was seated by a nail technician right away. I said I wanted to have the gel polish removed and have a standard manicure. She wasn't pushy in trying to upset me (which has happened at other places). She took the PROPER steps involved in removing the gel from my nails by wrapping the nail. Other places have ruined my nails, leaving a paper thin carcass behind, by only using the sanding/grinding machine. I was so grateful for her thorough and gentle removal! She took the time to clean up my cuticles, file to my liking, and massage my hands. Her painting was immaculate. Zero nail enamel on my skin. I was impressed - but then I was told today there was a discount being offered. HECK YES! Please do yourself a favor and check this place out. I've had a much more positive experience here than other Main Street nail salons. I'm definitely returning! Thank you!!

To make it easier & also to have something tangible to open on Christmas, I'd printed a screenshot of the business homepage & added my name & tel# (the info. they said to present @ time of service). When she presented the paper with my info on it, they insisted she pay for the services & disregarded the gift, tacitly implying a scam. I arrived & intervened to resolve the melee, showing proof of the charge on my phone. They finally located the gift card, in a sleeve, with my name & # on it. It was EMBARRASSING!! Misunderstandings and language barriers are a reality, which is expectable and tolerable, but the lady should have absolutely given the customer the benefit of the doubt & researched the matter before drawing errant conclusions and worse, levying false accusations. I first visited Hi-Tech Nails about 6 weeks ago as a walk-in for a pedicure. Ly was very…read moreattentive and I was thrilled overall with the result. I returned to see Ly a couple of week later. As a 30 year acrylic nail wearer I had decided to stop having my nails done. But they broke, cracked, looked horrible so I went to Ly to try JUST a gel polish manicure. He was very methodical and I enjoyed the "manicure" part which I never got with any of the acrylic fills I had gotten elsewhere. His filing and polishing was excellent and I was amazed that my nails did not break or split. I went back two weeks later to have another manicure (I could have waited another week but was in town so I went ahead with it). I made the appointment and had to change it twice because of weather and they were so nice to do so. However, when I got there I found out that Ly was on vacation for a month so Tommy did my manicure. Much more talkative than Ly, I enjoyed his sense of humor and his joke telling! He also did a fabulous job on my nails and after three weeks, I only have one slight break. I will definitely be going back. This week as a matter of fact! I would recommend this salon. Much cleaner that others I have used in the Flathead.
