Amazing henna designs! Tisha traveled all the way to Healdsburg to put mehndi / henna for my relatives and friends last Friday. Found her ad on Craigslist and basically chatted with her over the phone a couple of times to arrange this a month or so before the date. We were grateful that she came all the way up to Sonoma for our event but a tad disappointed by how late Tisha arrived, due to the heavy traffic along the two hour drive to Windsor, CA. This meant that the service had to be rushed along to get as many ladies done within the one hour timeframe that we had requested. Except for this, we were extremely happy with the artistry and service delivered on the day. The mehndi / henna used was of good quality and everyone was thrilled with their individual designs. I was in search of an amazing, well-established henna artist for my henna bridal shower and I decided to use Yelp with my search!--Of course! I found Tisha and I have absolutely no regrets. First off, she's a complete sweetheart. She starts off by setting up an initial appointment at which she applies a small design of henna so we can see how the color sets in after a few hours and the next day. To my amazement, it was very dark the next day and I was convinced that I found my special henna lady! Second, She arrived on time for my henna party and began doing my bridal mendhi. It took a little over 3 hours because of the detail and extent of henna work (hands, arms, above elbows, feet, legs above ankle). I also took a few mini breaks in between to stretch. Once she was done applying my mendhi, she moved on to apply henna on my family and friends. Lastly, Tisha's prices are very reasonable and all the ladies from my bridal shower were very pleased with the turnout of the henna color on the next day. She applies glitter on the henna when it's wet so pictures look so beautiful with the designs and shimmering colored glitter. I just had my big Indian wedding just over a week ago. Tisha did an outstanding job doing my bridal henna. She is a truly amazing and talented henna artist. I am very upset about the fact that the mehendi color was very light for the wedding. Even after keeping it on all night without washing hands with water and putting balm before going to bed, the color came out soo light that on the day of the wedding, everyone's mehendi already faded! I was very expectant about the color after seeing the color of the mehendi they day we did the trial. The color was quite dark even after keeping it on for just two hours in total.
