Since I had such bad luck last year with Hendrix maintenance, I took my lawn tractor to a local mechanic. This is what he found with only 28 hours on it: 1. minimal oil in the tractor barely touching the dip stick 2. Fan on trans axle broken 3. Mulching blades I ordered were installed upside down 4. Steering linkage gears were only engaged by approximately 1/8" 5. Drive belt was shredded I had sent the tractor back to Hendrix for not fixing issues we had with it. Very disappointing first experience with these guys. I bought a JD 1023e tractor and had it delivered. There was no training or familiarization with the tractor provided. I used the tractor to cut my grass that weekend and it over heated!! It was not properly services before delivery. I called the salesman, who responded, "well nobody is perfect". I returned the 1023e and bought the 1025. I ordered it with the 60" quick disconnect deck. They again delivered it without instructions. I tried to disconnect the deck, and they delivered it it without the correct disconnect PTO!! Keystone Cops service all...the...way!! Sad. 4 weeks after I bought the 1025 I have something I can use. read more

Don't waste your time if you need service on something you purchased there. Terrible service. Been waiting 3 weeks and nothing but lies.

Bought a new zero turn diesel lawn mower. 9.5 hours of use and the blades wouldn't engage. Hendrix machinery took it in and 5 weeks later brought it home with a flat tire and the coolant off the bottom low, but claimed it was fixed. It leaked transmission fluid all over my driveway where they left it. I called and they picked it up again. Said it was a bad "O" ring. They fixed that and brought it back. Still leaked. They found stripped out bolts, and yep, another bad "O" ring. They say that they have fixed that and will bring it back tomorrow (after another week.) Worst place I've dealt with. They don't return calls, or call at all to give updates. I just have to keep calling until I'm lucky enough to get somebody. I would not deal with these folks if I didn't have an outrageously expensive, always broken piece of equipment for them to (not) fix. There is a Kubota customer satisfation hot line I have called a few times, but their main function is to tell you how sorry they are but that's life and that's what warranty's are for. No real suggestions from them except keep sending it back to the repair shop, and good luck with that. Can I give zero stars? I would if I could. Recently purchased a L2501 tractor from them, horrible service, parts not ordered, delivery delayed, they just DO NOT CARE. Run from this place, please. I will reach out to Kubota and JD and let them know my experience. Not that it will make any difference, but they should know how their product is being represented. This is probaly without a doupt the worse run mainteance shop i have ever been in. And i have worked in quite a few in my 63 years they took my brotherinlaws tractor in on 18 june said they would start on it the next morning. The tractor didnt get moved for two weeks. They started replacing parts on the third week still not having a clue what was wrong with the machine other what the were told by the farmer. They finially saidvthe current is shorthimg out somewhere so far they probally had a hour labor. Then someone got a voltage meter and started tracing the short this is now a month later(no hay or corn was being cut or worked in this time. Now in the third month they claim to have found the problem a mico switch that activates when cluch is pressed. Instead of just the switch they replaced the whole wiring harness and switch in the maintance. World we call these guys parts replacer a true tech would have found problem and replaced the switch. Three months after taking tractor to the shop. I went with my brother in law Gerald Haymans of richmondhill a very hard working and honest good hearted man not lying he is a good man ask anyone in liberty, Bryan , tatanall or chatham county they will tell you he would help anyone i have seen him help fellow framers geting crops for a week with just a hand shake. I know this has been long but people this company has almost put this farmer into bankrupcy. It was three months Aug. 22 we picked this tractor up. They had a total of 903.00 on the invoice. 5 hours over three months was labor 115.00 per hour now i belive a man should get paid a decent wage for his work and i relize not. All of that goes to the laborer but if it takes three months to figure that current is not passing throug. A switch someone is incompenet in this case from management down . I dont want to curse but these are some sorry people that would suck a mans life out of him and beable to go home and rest. This matter is not over but please people let them maybe work on your push mowers but if it is something like a rider that you depend on to make a living. Take it some place else Blanchard or anywheres so you can still make a living this year. I never thought I would post a review online. Run the other way!! Dealt directly with Dale. Purchased Compact Kubota with loader, backhoe, thumb, grapple and mower deck. Let dealership display for show after my purchase before I took delivery. Well......... tractor is awesome and that's it. Hendrix Machinery over promise and under deliver! Called for my first service. They picked up tractor and promised one week return. Two weeks later, I called for 3 days straight with no call backs. I called Dale, no answer.... left message and then someone called me from service. I was then informed tractor has not been looked at yet. Long story short (3days later), returned tractor. I returned home, they changed just the oil and other issues were never addressed. leaking tire (now flat) and blown fuse (lights still not working). Good times. Here we go again. I called Kubota they told me to punt. So I was forced to call these fools yet again. They came picked up tractor again... 4 days later tractor returned. After confirming service bill amount with Hendrix office and driver I payed their bill in full. Next day.... Lights still working..Bonus!! Tire still goes flat. Get a bill every month "past due" bill. I am never demanded or expected royal treatment. I am a person of integrity. So I guess the fool is me.
