However, Griffin was an amazing help. He actually listened to what I wanted. He did not push anything on me. If anything he encouraged something cheaper than we ended up with! We had an amazing experience there. The owner came over during our time and introduced himself and told us it was a family owned company and that he started it from nothing! It seemed like a trustworthy place so we kept looking for my perfect ring! Griffin was very helpful and showed us lots of options including diamonds he had in the back and estate rings. When we finally decided on a diamond the owner offered us a deal without even being prompted and custom designed my simple solitaire band as part of our deal! I am super specific and really wanted some very small details to be absolutely perfect and Griffin (cannot say enough great things about this man) listened to every single thing I said. He was patient with my list and took very good notes. Even though they had offered to fix it as many times as needed to get it until I was pleased they made it perfect on the first try. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for any jewelry. We will be going back our wedding bands and I hope my fiance keeps visiting for future presents (hint hint). They also offered free cleanings and would check the ring's integrity for life. All of these guarantees made me feel like this was the place to purchase my ring! So happy that we walked in to look.

It would be understandable that they were my first stop in shopping for the perfect gift. Well, last Saturday I decided to pay them a visit. When I walked into the store there were three salespeople standing by chatting to each other which was fine because I was the only one who had walked into the store and no other customers were there at that time. Two of the salespeople saw me, but did not acknowledge me; however, the third person, David immediately greeted me and disconnected himself from the group to warmly welcome me. As I gazed into a few cases, I could see David positioning himself to grab keys while he exchanged some light banter with me. All of this was something that I really appreciated. As he took out a few pieces from the case, I felt as if David had the patience and attention of someone who truly cared about me and my business despite whether or not he knew or believed that I could either afford or would buy anything in that store. This would probably seem like a strange concept for some people; however, I have experienced treatment like that in more times than I care to explain. Yet, David was gracious. I told him that I wanted to check a couple of places before I made my decision. David did not seem annoyed nor did he give me any indication that made me feel as if I had wasted his time. He gave me his card and thanked me for coming to visit. After comparing the quality and price of one other place, I called David to ask him if that piece of jewelry was still available. I asked him to pull them aside and yesterday I returned to make that purchase. Ironically, the other two sales people who were in the store during my first visit was there to witness me paying for the items they probably thought I never would. If ever you are in the market to buy jewelry, go see David at the mall location.

Recently, he had trouble getting one to screw back on properly, so we visited the Kay Jewelers location at Oglethorpe Mall in Savannah. The moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Deja, a beautiful Black woman with a head full of gorgeous curls. She smiled and said, "We'll be right with you folks"--a small gesture that meant a lot, especially in a time when basic greetings often feel like a lost art. Shortly after, we were helped by Kiera, who immediately made us feel welcomed. She had the sweetest smile and such a calm, kind demeanor. She took the time to walk us through every possible option for my husband's earring repair, explained the service timeline, and even educated us on how often the screw-back posts may need servicing. We had no idea this kind of maintenance was even necessary, and her patience and clarity were greatly appreciated. While my husband spoke with her, I did what any curious wife would do--scoped out potential wedding ring upgrades, lol--and sure enough, I found one I loved. Kiera excitedly told me about upcoming sales and offered to favorite the ring under my account so I could easily return for it. She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. Eventually, Deja joined us again, and the conversation turned to hairstyles and natural hair care. It honestly felt more like chatting with old friends than making a service visit. Kiera really stood out--whether it was questions about warranties, repair options, or even things outside of our original reason for stopping by (like wedding rings and watches), she had an answer for everything. We left feeling genuinely taken care of and like truly valued customers. The whole team was wonderful, but Kiera especially made the experience memorable. She will definitely be our go-to for all things Kay from now on!

We were called 2 weeks later to pick the ring up and when we did, it had not been soldered. At that point, a Definite RUSH should have been initiated to Rectify THEIR MISTAKE. I was notified today (the ORIGINAL PICK UP DATE) and 1 week after they tried to return the ring Unsoldered... that my ring was Just Received and it will be at least another week before we can pick it up. It's Unacceptable. I will Never do business with them and when I Upgrade it will Definitely be with a More Reputable Jeweler.
