If you have a choice, DO NOT go with this company! Horrible way of running business. We have been with this company for over 10 years and have set up automatic withdraw to pay for electric bills. For one time, I forgot to call them and give them a new expiration date for the credit card to be charged. They stopped withdrawing from this card without notifying me, and nobody tried to contact me to get a new expiration date. I didn't get a paper pill either because I signed up for paperless option. One evening, coming home from work, I got a note on my door that said I should contact them asap otherwise the service would be disconnected. Next day when I came home, the electricity was already cut off. Less than 24 hour notice!!! I called the office and was told that to get the power back on, I had to pay $100 reconnect fee. I asked to talk to a supervisor and was told the supervisor wouldn't be back until three days later. I would either leave the house with no electricity for at least 3 days, or pay $100 penalty. I found out why they wouldn't work with their customers - this company is the only company that services the area. Finally I had to pay $100 penalty to get the power back on. If you have a choice, choose a different company, otherwise, you are doomed. You have to be super careful in managing your payments. A small mistake can cost you big money. read more
