In my defense, theynshare the space with Little Rituals and their sign on the same door has two wine glasses! Whatever brought me in, I'm grateful. This store is fabulous. As a person who already has too many plants, this is it's also dangerous. You fellow plant lovers know what I mean, we always think we can find a spot for another! But it's not just about floor or shelf space, it's about proper lighting. They have all sorts of plants like monstera, fiddle leaf fig and palms. Snake plants, pathos, cactus and succulents. Yep, I'm in trouble! In addition to the plants, they have everything for their care and to display them like metal hanging plant holders, macrame plant holders, and pots in a variety of styles and sizes. Also lots of lotions, bath salts and oils. Such a cute shop and worth stopping in.

I was looking for some a unique gift for my daughters 24th birthday and thought this was the perfect shop to find something unique. I bought my daughter this an affirmation card deck. After she gets settled in her new place, I will bring her here to pick out a plant. And while I was there and I chatted with Vanessa and Cassie and loved hearing about their story I have how this brick and mortar shop came to be. Oliver was there too and we had a nice conversation about his dog Hankey. :) They currently co-share a brick + mortar shop with Little Rituals. There you can find our plants, propagation stations, planters/vases, soil, tools, potting tarps and so much more. Variegated Vines believes there is a plant out there for everyone and we want to be the ones to help you find it! (Copied from their website). Daphne's Botanicals was the only one to get back to me at all, and it was a prompt reply AND they followed up via email. They do offer a reporting service! For only five dollars! And they give you 10% off any pots you buy in the store, if you don't want to bring your own. This is a lifesaver for me, as I've learned to keep plants alive but historically repotting has not gone so well. I took in an incredibly long pothos that I got for free. The team at Daphne's Botanicals shared my excitement about the plant, welcomed me into the store, and quickly started on the repotting. I didn't have a pot but they gave a recommendation and I love how it turned out. While there, I browsed their product shelves and plants. It's a pretty small store, but their plants look happy and they've got some really cute planters and what they say is a really excellent plant food. They're also attached to a bakery so you can grab a little bite as well. Highly recommend this woman owned spot!

So after the due diligence of procrastination that is required before any home improvement project, I finally decided it was time to pressure wash the house. If only it could be that easy to pressure wash myself in order to remove some of the 36 years of experience beginning to show on my own exterior. Made a quick call to Johnson Creek Rentals, determined that they did indeed have the correct equipment for the job, and then headed over to pick up the washer. The staff was extremely helpful and informative, showed me the correct way to use the equipment, helped me load it into the car and I was off. I was in and out in less then 10 minutes (kind of like my early years of being sexually active)! For the next four hours, I felt a sense of power as I blasted dirt and mold off the side of my home with eco friendly cleaners and pressurized H2O through my bad ass water gun. Amazingly, at the end of day, our home once again resembled the domicile we once knew when we fell for it some six years ago. Plus, I managed to not fall off the ladder, pressure wash the cats, or blast a hole through my epidermis. Johnson Creek Rentals comes highly recommended for all your small equipment rental needs.

I stopped I fixed. the Splitter worked ok. When I returned the splitter I let the guy behind the counter was very rude especially when I told him about the pin coming loose. He said they never had a problem before. I told him that there was no way it was the OEM locking system. He irritated that they never had a problem. on my way out I looked at another splitter that was the same and it had another jury rigged keeper but different. The hours of operation is another reason I will never use them again. I went there because the cost was cheaper than Home Depot. They close much earlier this means the cost is much more over all because operating hours. Home Depot 125.00. Johnson Creek rentals 175.00 advertised price less but it costs more and equipment is old and safety of equipment is not a concern judging by the person that checked me out. I was hoping to use a smaller more local company when I went to Johnson Creek rental.

What a great little but mighty plant nursery in S.E. Portland Oregon…read more I used to live in this neighborhood and it has many hidden gems. Birds and Bees Nursery is one of them. I'm a member of Carnivorous Plants Society of Oregon and one of my things is finding places that sell Carnivorous Plants outside of the big box stores. Sure the big Home store has plenty of Venus Flytraps every year but it's a cruel thing to see a plant abused by employees who don't know how to care for such a plant. First of all this plant has 2. basic needs. 1. All the direct sunlight it can get. At least 12 hours a day. 2. Distilled Water or Rain water. To see this plant living inside the store on a shelf dries out is a difficult thing to see. If it is watered, Tap Water us what it's given. Tap water is a for sure slow death to a Venus Flytrap Plant. So in my search, I found a little nursery in the burbs. Next to a Taco Smell restaurant, full of all sorts of plants from vines to carnivorous plants. In my interest, they had Sundews, Picture Plants and a ton of Venus Flytraps all sitting in the full sun. I found what I thought was a good specimen and when I picked up and looked at the Venus Flytrap I wanted, I realized it was actually 3 small and one slightly larger Venus Flytrap plants in the same pot for (I'm pretty sure in right. I was so excited to find such an awesome plant that I kinda forgot and the receipt wasn't helpful.) $15.00. They're usually about $10.00 for a common Venus Flytrap plant. I basically bought 4 plants for $3.75 a piece. With such great prices, my wife found a couple plants she couldn't leave without. We both left Birds and Bees happy. Update on our plants. They're all thriving in their new home.

I'm sure it's nice inside, but I wouldn't know, as there is no access for wheelchair usersread more
