Henann Park is one of the newer resorts in Boracay, located in Station 2. We used the transportation services provide by this resort to get from the airport to the hotel. The transportation process was very smooth and efficient.
We booked the family room which had 2 rooms, big enough for 4-5 people total. The first room included the dining room, one queen bed, and one twin bed; the second room had two twin beds. There's a closet hallway that divides the two rooms and leads into the bathroom. There are doors to give each room its own privacy. We were given the room with pool access on the first floor, which was very convenient and made swimming more enjoyable.
There are four pools, all about the same size and approx 4 feet deep. The staff members were really good with keeping the pool and pool area clean. Staff members in general were all very nice and super helpful. There's a poolside bar with various drinks and food available to order. Massage and hair braiding services are available by the poolside with affordable pricing. For additional charge, the massage therapist can massage in your hotel room if you want more privacy. I actually did the poolside massage which I highly recommend. My massage therapist did an excellent job and I felt so relaxed after my session.
The hotel's restaurant, Orchard Cafe, provides a breakfast buffet every morning for all in-house guests. I must say that this was one of the best breakfast buffets I've ever had! The food was delicious and had a number of flavors across Southeast Asia. The breakfast buffet alone deserves a 5/5 stars.
Now for the reasons why I did not give Henann Park 5 stars. Even though this hotel is close to the beach in proximity, the actual access to the beach convenient and is at least a 10 minute walk. The layout of the four pools are kind of awkward with each section being divided either by a walkway or barrier. The steps to get in and out of the pool are awkward as well due to an extra half an inch raised on each step, making it easy to trip over. In addition, there's an inch step to get in and out of the bathroom, and you'll most likely stub your toe if you're not being careful.
Overall, Hennan Park is beautiful and modern. My family and I enjoyed our experience here. It is definitely worth a stay in Boracay. read more
