The District Boracay is very clean, well maintained, and nicely furnished. It is in the center of beach area with immediate beach front access. Their staff members are cordial, welcoming, and very attentive to visitors who stay there. They anticipate your needs, and deliver prior to you having to ask. Whether it's bottled water or fruit juices for your room. The rooms are spacious, clean, and serviced every day. Rooms have air conditioning. The breakfast buffet that was a part of my stay was wonderful. The selection changed daily. They had Filipino choices, and typical (American) continental breakfast choices, too. Native fruits, juices, and desserts were always in abundance. If you ever are heading to Boracay and are looking for a hotel to stay. Check out The District.

This place was a dream. The service was so helpful and the breakfasts were amazing. A truly lovely place and experience. Being on the beach it was so lovely to take a few steps from one of the prettiest views.

This is now gonna be my go-to hotel every time I visit Boracay. I purchased my room way ahead of time but ended up having some issues (personal) with my dates. I contacted the supervisor, Stephanie Berango, and she is the most flexible staff I've dealt with in my years of visiting Philippines. I'm not kidding! Typically, I get stuck up people who won't listen to logic or reason but she listened attentively to my concerns, didn't compromise their business, but offered solutions that benefited both parties. I appreciate her! Now, regarding the actual hotel...the transportation from the port to the hotel was comfortable. The van was clean and air conditioning was up to par. The hotel facade was gorgeous and the room was immaculate. It was clean, appropriately decorated, and can totally match the quality that we have here in the US. They had a really nice swimming pool and tub and the restaurant had amazing buffet! In front of the hotel are lounge chairs that we could use anytime. The staff by the elevator quickly handed towels that you could use before you take your several steps out to the beach. This hotel was truly beachfront! The staff was soooo courteous and warm. They were always smiling and ready to assist. Location was perfect as it was close enough to the mall, vendors, massage spa, and restaurants but still not too crazy or crowded. I strongly recommend this hotel. It will be worth all your money. :)

If you're looking for a hotel right on the beach in the middle of the action, The District Boracay is a great choice. The service is great, with the staff always greeting you as you walk by and quick to help with anything you might need, including adjusting your umbrella on the beach. The rooms are spacious, clean and well laid out. Our booking included a free breakfast, but don't worry, if you oversleep they'll let you grab brunch instead. Expect a small, tasty treat for turn down service every night as well. The Star Lounge on the third floor offers a nice place to grab a sunset away from the hustle and bustle of the beach, and they've also got a good happy hour. I'd recommend to any friends visiting Boracay.

So happy that my husband and I found The District. Doesn't it sound like Hunger Games? Lol. On a serious note, I could not have been more pleased by the modern accommodations, excellent customer service (from the boat/shuttle/walk to the hotel to room service, steaming request, etc), delicious food, short distance to the Station 2/3 restaurants/shops and pampering spa treatments. You really get your money's worth here!!!

There are moments in life that once seemed so far away that they almost felt imaginary…read more For my husband and I, staying at the Shangri-La Boracay was one of those moments. We were actually supposed to come the previous year for our anniversary celebration, but life had other plans. We became very ill and had to cancel the trip entirely. After recovering and getting back to our normal lives, my beloved husband decided it was finally time to make our long-awaited anniversary getaway happen. So, we flew all the way from the quiet plains of South Dakota to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. And honestly? It was worth every mile. From the moment we landed, the experience felt seamless. Representatives from the hotel, dressed in their elegant red uniforms, greeted us immediately at the airport and handled everything from there. We were escorted into a comfortable shuttle van and brought down to the hotel's exclusive jetty area so we could transfer directly to Shangri-La without the usual chaos and confusion of island transfers. The private jetty ride itself was beautiful. The water was sparkling beneath us, the breeze was warm, and seeing the resort slowly appear in the distance felt surreal after waiting so long for this trip. When we finally arrived, we were welcomed by native performers, music, and smiling staff who somehow made us feel both important and completely relaxed at the same time. Since we booked a suite, we were assigned a personal floor valet service that operated around the clock in shifts. They even gave us a dedicated cell phone that directly connected us to whichever valet was currently on duty. I have stayed at many beautiful hotels over the years, but that level of attentiveness was genuinely impressive. Our suite was absolutely stunning. We overlooked the beach and had both indoor and outdoor dining areas, along with an outdoor hot tub that had already been prepared for us with warm bubbling water and flower petals. After the long journey, we wound up taking a nap almost immediately. When we woke up, we wandered down to the beach and that was the moment everything really sank in. The beachfront at Shangri-La feels like its own secluded world away from the busier parts of Boracay. The white sand was impossibly soft and bright, the water was cool without being cold, and the atmosphere was peaceful in a way that almost felt intoxicating. There was even a beach valet nearby ready to bring drinks while we relaxed near the shore. Mostly, though, I just loved spending uninterrupted time with my honey. No stress. No rushing. No obligations. Just the sound of the water, warm sea air, and the feeling that after years of working hard and pushing through difficult seasons of life, we had finally reached a chapter where we could stop and truly enjoy one another again. That evening we were shuttled to our anniversary dinner at Rima, which deserves its own separate review entirely because it was spectacular. The next morning we enjoyed one of the most beautiful breakfast buffets we've had in years. Fresh tropical fruits, pastries, Filipino and international selections -- everything was beautifully presented and constantly refreshed. We spent several days there simply relaxing, walking the beach, enjoying the suite, and appreciating how fortunate we were to finally make this trip happen. This is not an inexpensive hotel by any stretch of the imagination. Even with the perks my husband receives from frequently staying at Shangri-La properties, our suite still cost well into the four-figure range per night. But unlike some luxury hotels that feel expensive simply for the sake of being expensive, Shangri-La Boracay truly delivered an experience that felt restorative, romantic, and unforgettable. Leaving was honestly depressing. But as my husband and I sat preparing to leave paradise, we were already talking about returning. Hopefully later this year in 2026.

My luggage was handled perfectly & professionally. They were place on the boat and in my room by the time I was finished checking in. The grounds of the resort is beautiful from the exotic plants and trees to monkeys roaming ( very few) to the gorgeous scenic beach front. Every where you looked and walked things were cleaned and organized. The breakfast buffet is rotating every day so you won't get the same dish every day , maybe a variation but not the same dish. The food was filling and delicious great way to start the day. The gym and spa area is really great for solo workouts or pair . They have a lot of machines, weights and sauna, hot tub and steam room. Plenty of showers too. There was also workout classes you can join. The beach was so lovely! Best part is you have private access and a giant pool near too. I recommend ordering the Ube colada and a fresh coconut during your stay. Take advantage of the free shuttle into town to experience the localness.

I'm beyond happy that I recommended my sister to have her destination wedding at Crimson!…read more After doing tons of research; food and impeccable service at Crimson was frequently mentioned as one of the best by a lot of reviewers, and they weren't wrong at all. Traveled to a lot of places and the service here was one of the most memorable. Transportation through the resort is seamless. Their lounge by the airport before we went on their private boat was clean and had several complimentary snacks for the guests. We absolutely love getting dropped off right at their private beach front dock and greeted by welcoming drummers. Abby, the wedding coordinator or Crimson was the best! My sister said she was patient, efficient in her responses and was so helpful with the whole process which made it so easy planning things from the out of the country. She was so happy that she made sure to bring a gift for her from the US. On the actual wedding day at 3:45am, we had a terrible emergency, the groom unfortunately had to be taken to the ER having extreme stomach pain and vomiting. The Manager on duty on 2/20 went above and beyond and personally went to the couple's room to help. He even called a couple hospitals ahead of time to ensure they were going to be taken care of and took the right information needed from the hospitals to pass on to the wedding couple. He also got transportation ready to go asap. Crimson Even sent breakfast without us asking to, to the hospital while they were waiting for his results and treatment, which was so thoughtful and meant a lot to us. The wedding food selection was also amazing. (The truffle mashed potatoes were to die for) (though some of the small dessert cakes were too sweet) The bride picked the highest buffet tier and her guests said that it was the best wedding buffet selection they have ever seen. The best thing is that they even were able to move the wedding the next day after the emergency and were able to make the wedding happen seamlessly and beautifully, which was amazing and miraculous in itself given the circumstances. We are so happy we picked a place that truly cared so much about our experience. So if you are thinking of where to have your wedding in Boracay, look no further. You will get what you pay for and more. Crimson will do their best to deliver. Hands down 5-stars all around! *Riza also left a wonderful impression during check-in on 2/18 and delivered iconic hospitality. We easily connected and even remembered me throughout my stay anytime we came across each other. * The Crimson Resort and Spa Boracay won the Condé Nast Johansens Award for Excellence for "Best Breakfast" in 2025. We absolutely love the breakfast each day. *Go for an ocean view suite room if you can! You won't be sorry!

The dock was actually walkable and goes 20-30 yards into the water. Transportation including bus and boat ride was under 40 minutes and we appreciated that we never felt rushed by staff. Upon arrival to the resort, this place is absolutely modern, clean and stunning. We also got a tour of the place during check-in. The room was beautiful, large windows, great wifi, great water pressure and shower. Housekeeping was quick with requests and very attentive. The pool area does close kinda early but it's basically empty every night by nightfall. The beach area is gorgeous, especially the sunset. There's also couple romantic dinner reservations available with live music. Azure the restaurant was clean, beautiful and attentive. Mosaic the latin grill is definitely more upscale. The bread is a nice touch and this place is stunning as well. Our only con would be no airplay/screensharing available for apple products on the room tv's. Cannot wait to come back.

I hate to make comparisons, but we went to a high priced resort on the island for lunch, and their service was nothing compared to that of Sea Wind's. From their clean rooms, easy check-in process, beachfront reclinable loungers and on-site massage services, Sea Wind is the #1 resort in Boracay. They offer a free buffet breakfast everyday, and a beachfront bar. Sea Wind sets the bar high for resorts, and I will most definitely be comparing any future trips to the experience I had at Sea Wind.

Our room was only a few steps away from the pool and the towel service (which they gave you towel cards so you can borrow clean beach towels to use). This hotel was also a short walk away from the beach in which you can use their beach chairs (first come, first serve) and there's an attendant that oversee them. We spend the whole day at the beach! Included with your reservation (now I don't remember if we paid for it or not), was their breakfast buffet. Located at their Sea Breeze restaurant. You check in with the attendant, tell them your name and they'll show you to yoir seat. Their menu rotates, but they always have their regulars like rice, American breakfast and breads. My only complaint is from some guests that feels so entitled that they needed to be served like people who worked here is their personal help. Anyway, will definitely stay here again if we ever go back because This definitely was an awesome experience for us and we were so well taken care of that we didn't want to leave.

That said, i never had anything but wonderful interactions here and truly feel this resort is absolutely excellent, I'm so glad I chose it! This was my first trip to boracay and I looked at a lot of the available resorts on the island, but I felt like the henann group had a really good reputation, and this one in particular (Henann Garden) looked the most beautiful to me with the architecture and the plants in the courtyard. The resort did not disappoint: the staff here are some of the hardest working, kindest, and most polite hotel folks I've met to date. Everyone goes out of their way to greet you and try to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. From the desk staff, to the manager at the garden cafe (Rammy) to the gym supervisor (Pascual), to the masseuses (Mary Jane in particular!) everyone was just phenomenal! Even after a couple days these folks started to recognize me and would ask how I was doing, where my mom was (since she came with me), and the cafe staff (shout out to the morning bartenders!) would prepare my tea with milk as I was arriving before I asked since they knew I'd want it. Pascual in the gym also noted I was uncomfortable lifting the weights without gloves and gave me a pair to use during my stay - so kind and hospitable! The pools here are also pristine (all 6 of them), as are the rooms. The housekeeping staff work really hard to keep the rooms, pool area, and beachfront area nice and clean, and free of sand as much as possible (eg on the beachfront beds). There are rinse/foot wash stations all over the courtyard, and lots of amenities for convenience as well (eg paid lunch and dinner buffets, the pool side bar, massages throughout the day either poolside or in the room, etc.). I could go on and on; truly this resort is superb! They do offer transport services as well, you have to email and ask for it though. Payment is done prior to coming, it's about $36 (USD) per person and I paid through PayPal. The morning breakfast buffet (included with cost of stay) is also a whole other discussion - it's fantastic! So many choices. And on our last day, just before leaving they gave us a little plate that said "thank you for staying" written in frosting with some cake. So personalized, so kind To keep this review from getting too long I'll stop here but highly, highly recommend Henann garden for your next stay! The resorts' rooms all have an open layout with no windows and bamboo doors, but they each still feel private. This is because every room is in a unique spot on the side of a cliff. During my stay here, our group stayed at the top rooms. My only problem/worry is that the climb to the top rooms are difficult because the steps were narrow steps and they switch off the lights at night. Pretty dangerous if you arrive back a bit tipsy! But, the views and breezes make it all worth it. You wake up every morning with the sun shining over a clear water with no people in sight since you are so high up! Rooms come with a fan and mosquito net over the bed. If you can, get a room which includes breakfast (better value). The staff is very friendly but, sometimes they are a little slow when it comes to serving food/drinks (which is, sadly, expected in the Philippines). The beauty and perk of the restaurant/lounge area is that you can go for a swim while you wait! This is also the best place on the island to watch the Boracay sunset. :) On that note, yes, it does get busy during sunsets especially during the peak season. Also, if you are late for breakfast, you may not get a seat. :( The bar can get noisy but it stops at 10PM sharp. This is because this is the side of Station 1 where guests prefer the peace and quiet. So, if you are in Boracay for the parties, this place is not for you. Room Tip: Go for Room B! It is away from the restaurant/lounge area. Some rooms are right above the restaurant/lounge area and can be a bit noisy.
