This is for the restaurant only...Wow! We were in the Philippines for the holidays and spent Christmas afternoon here. This is on Diniwid Beach side in Boroacay so it's on the other side of the main stations, ie it's not a crowded beach!
First, ask around to get here and if you are lucky enough to have a guide, just go along. Our tricylce driver knew a guy. ( a local who was sitting at the end of the alley/walkway to the entrance of the beach) Seemed kinda sketch at first, but the people there are so nice and trusting, plus my husband is FIlipino and confirmed. Basically, to get there, you walk along the rocks cliffside until you reach an entrance to what you assume is the batcave. Then you just walk through it to various tunnels (again, get a guide, bc at this pt my husband and kids swore we were being kidnapped) until voila! You literally step down into the light inside the restaurant! It's much bigger than I thought and the set up is amazing. It's very spacious, yet there's all these nooks to sit at. We were lucky enough to sit outside in the balcony area right where there's a ladder from the ocean. There was a higher nook where a couple sat, and you can literally exit to the ocean below.
My family and I sat facing the ocean view all around us as we were high on the cliff. The food was superb. My teens were surprised at how great the pizza was, being we were in Asia. It looked like an Italian made it with fresh made crust and artisan cheese, all very rustic. And of course the fruit smoothies were delicious (OMG the Mango). Extremely fresh, not overly sugary, and perfectly refreshing.
We stayed there enjoying our beautiful view, watching the sunset. Perfect. read more
