After much procrastination I scheduled a cleaning and check-up, feeling pretty confident that all was well. Welp, I left with a next-day appointment to get 4 cavities filled! Dr. Pashaliyev was absolutely fabulous for the entire process. He explained everything to me and was very upbeat and optimistic in the face of my anxiety and pessimism. He took my nervousness seriously and was happy to take his time to make me comfortable. He was not stingy with the novocaine and stopped to give me more when it began to feel a little zippy in the extra-deep cavity drilling. The techs that assisted were great too - fast and efficient, very pleasant. If you're not a fan of the dentist, I would highly recommend booking with Dr. Pashaliyev, it was almost downright pleasant. Almost : )

I have a history with them and I've never required any major dental work . I traveled there recently for my scheduled cleaning. I was pressured to get xrays and so after traveling 40 minutes to this appointment I left without a cleaning because the office manager refused my request to forgo the x-rays for health reasons . I had called her the week before and left a voice message asking her to call me back because I wanted to speak to her about this very subject. She never returned my call and so when I showed up for my cleaning appointment I was simply told that unless I got the x-rays they would not clean my teeth so I asked if I should leave ( i was in the chair) . It was suggested that there was nothing they could do for me without the x-rays other than let my dentist look at my teeth . Her reasoning was liability and it just left me feeling like she was more interested and concerned about protecting the staff then she was concerned about my specific health concerns and unique needs as a patient regarding unnecessary exposure. Still love Dr. Allison! He is the best! I just never thought it would end this way, and all because I wanted to have my teeth cleaned without exposure to an xray.He was always compassionate and never pushy. The old office manager Chris was the same. She actually cared about you. You don't get that anymore with this practice. Its all about them. I wont return and I will miss my Dentist. Thank you Dr. Allison for the years of professional care and Excellence! You will be missed

i had my third visit to this dentist earlier today. i wanted to wait until i had been to the…read moreoffice a few times to write a review, just in case i ran into a hiccup -- but nope, IMO, these folks deserve no less than 5 stars. the office is clean and spacious, and everyone who works there has been very friendly to me. Dr. Creisher himself, though you're likelier to work with his staff than him unless you're getting an extraction or filling, is great -- very personable and friendly. he has an excellent bedside manner that lulls you into feeling like you're with a friend or having a nice chat with someone you're in line at the grocery store with, rather than a very nice man who's about to go digging about in your mouth with an array of scary looking metal objects. he has a very quirky sense of humor (i made a robin hood: men in tights chastity belt reference in his presence once -- he not only understood it, but laughed) and is incredibly easy to get along with. he even let me take my wisdom tooth home after an extraction -- that sucker had given me so much trouble that i wanted to bring its corpse home with me as a show of my triumph over it, and he didn't bat an eyelash when i asked to take it home. i think he might have a touch of the ADD, but it does NOT negatively impact his work in any way -- he is steady-handed, calm, and knows what he is doing. i was very nervous about my wisdom tooth extraction, but he made it virtually painless for me. today, i had the least painful dental cleaning of my life with a hygienist by the name of Tiffany. she was also very friendly and high-energy, with a quirky sense of humor and a personable demeanor. i'm somewhat self-conscious about my mouth, as it's not in the best shape, but she made me feel right at ease -- and even complimented me on the health and strength of my gums, a testament to the proper oral hygiene which i so grievously neglected to attend to as a child, but now keep up with quite devotedly. some of the staff are more subdued than Tiffany and Dr. Creisher, both of whom are very high-energy and engage in conversation so interesting it's hard NOT to respond even though you have sharp tools in your mouth at the moment, but i've dealt with about half a dozen of the staff and they've been nothing but friendly to me. for me, this place is seriously a diamond in the rough. i am a weirdo who was raised by weirdos, and am currently raising a little weirdo of my own. most of the time, during my personal time, i feel totally "in my element." therefore, dealing with new / strange / "normal" people can be nerve-wracking for me, because i am always worried about keeping my filters in place or saying the "wrong" thing. these folks are nice enough that more straitlaced, conventional types will still be satisfied by the excellent customer service & highly professional, impeccably skilled dental work; but weirdos like me will find this place a safe haven, to be sure. i will also note that i do not have insurance and am thus a cash paying customer. they do offer a 5% discount to uninsured customers. at any rate, i can't recommend this place highly enough. the office is clean and spacious; the customer service is high quality; and the dental work itself is flawless -- and i say this as someone who has serious anxiety about going to the dentist. believe it or not, i actually look forward to my appointments there... heck, i can hardly believe it. they all seem like very cool people, and even the more "straitlaced" folks there are friendly and kind. located where it is, it should be relatively convenient to a lot of people, both on the west end and in the city.

Great dentist, great staff! Pure high quality and friendly attention to detail. Never seen a…read morebetter run dental practice.

Since my husband is a general dentist, dental care for our kids was never something that we worried…read moreabout. That was until our 20mo old son developed horrible holes in front teeth. After bringing him to a well recommended peds dentist in Harrisburg, I left that appt feeling sick. They said at his age any work would have to be performed under anesthesia at a hospital! I was so scared!!! But then I decided to make the hour drive to Dr Miller in Lancaster after my husband was told all about him. And his father. Well, let me tell you... NO matter how many great things I had heard, they paled in comparison to the experience of being there!!! Not only is it a fun office (as you would think all offices directed solely at children would be) but EVERY detail was thought of to provide an exception service! From the amazingly warm and friendly front desk staff who instantly make you feel welcomed, to the jungle gym and toys in the waiting room which make the kids excited to be there, to the dentist's office with even more toys to entertain the kids and again put them even more at ease, to the assistants that are helpful and enthusiastic, to the actual exam rooms which will blow your mind!!! They are literally a toy room, complete with a working mechanical horse. Other than the fact that there is a dental chair and tools in the room, you would swear that you were just in a child's dream playroom!!!! So again, not only is this designed to be fun, it clearly is there for the purpose of taking as much of the fear and intimidation out of the situation as possible. And it works!!! Lastly, I can't say enough kind and positive words about Dr Miller... I have not stopped singing his praises from the very first appt on. His way with children is nothing short of magic (which he also does to put kids at ease)!!! He constantly speaks to them throughout the procedure to keep them as focused and calm as they can be. He sings, talks nonesense, jokes, anything and everything he can do... it almost mesmerizes them... he lets small children lie on you to again put them at ease (and help to hold them down) and works his magic as quickly and effectively as possible! How he maintains his concentration I am not sure, but at the speed of light it seems he is done... and the outcome is AMAZING! Again with a dentist in the house, they can be tough critics, but he too was amazed at the results!!! ALL of which was done with minimal to NO PAIN, NO HOSPITALIZATION, NO ANESTHESIA, NO TRAUMA, and NO HOSPITAL BILLS!!! I would recommend this practice (and do to anyone I have spoken with since the first appt) more than I have ever recommended anything or anyone! I don't take my children's health lightly, nor am I someone to often go online and write reviews, but I honestly have never felt so strongly compelled to do so. Please don't waste your time, money, or risk your children's dental health to ANYONE ELSE! They are worth the trip... they are honestly priceless!!!

Let's face it, most of us grew up fearing and loathing the dentist much like we do the DMV. My daughter was in awe when she was there and she keeps talking about how fun it was. These guys are definitely passionate about their field and about taking the fear out of a child's dental experience Thanks guys!

I told them what was happening and within a matter of minutes I was taken back, had imaging done and had the tooth extracted. After they helped me schedule and referred me to another oral surgeon for my wisdom teeth that require sedation. I know the reviews to this dentistry are a little off putting but they're from years ago. I can say I'm so happily taken care of. So glad I came in because I couldn't bare another day.

He suffered through - it was rough. His second surgery, they provided pain meds and steroids to help with swelling - which went very well and healed quickly. Fast forward to my daughter with all 4 wisdom teeth impacted and in pain. Consult and surgery date set without an issue - until roughly a week before surgery - oh "we no longer participate with your insurance" - so now we are back to square one with trying to find a surgeon to help her and guess what - NO ONE TAKES NEW PATIENTS! not impressed... if they were going to discontinue her insurance why not be forthcoming?

I was there for my appointment at 1 PM and I got there about 15 minutes early and it was 130 and he was still waiting on the only guy that was there when I came in the building!
