Pros: excellent quality work, timely service, really friendly staff…read more Cons: Expensive. We've had four or five folks out doing different types of work, from plumbing to electrical, and each time their work quality has been excellent, we've always been very happy with what they do. The only issue I have with them is that their rates are a tad high. That said, if it's something serious that needs to be done I know it'll be done well.

I've been using The Cherokee Group for my annual tankless water heater service, and once again they…read moreproved why they're the company I trust. The plumber who came out was not only professional but genuinely kind and personable. After finishing the heater service, I asked if he could take a look at my three outdoor water faucets. All of them had slow leaks, and one had an old extension fitting attached to a garden hose that was nearly impossible to remove. Even after I finally got it off, I couldn't find a replacement at any big box store or plumbing supply shop. He didn't hesitate for a moment. He walked around with me, examined all three faucets, and explained clearly what was going on. He even disassembled parts of each faucet to get a better look. After evaluating everything, he let me know that all three really needed to be brought up to code and replaced eventually. What truly impressed me was what happened next. Instead of just giving advice and heading out, he offered--right then and there--to fix the worst faucet on the spot. I was honestly astonished. He took his time, removed the old faucet and all the outdated plumbing attached to it, and installed a brand‑new one. No rushing, no cutting corners. Just solid, careful work. Throughout the whole process he was friendly, patient, and easy to talk to. It's rare these days to find someone who not only knows their craft but also genuinely cares about the customer's experience. I couldn't be happier with the service I received. The Cherokee Group continues to earn my trust, and I highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work in the Sevierville area. Be sure to ask for Tucker.

If I could give a no star review, by all means, I would. I am absolutely disgusted by the fact that…read morenot only he took the job I needed done and BACKED OUT after 2 days (6 hours worth of work), but also the fact that he solely chose to only deal with my husband regarding the job. I called countless times, texted, etc with no reply from this plumber. Yet, when my husband called or texted his response was nearly immediate. That shows me this man thinks nothing more than that a woman is inferior to a man, which is an incredibly poor business quality and chauvinistic. When he came to refund the rest of my material deposit after cancelling the job he agreed to, he would not even make eye contact with myself (a female), rather he chose to direct all conversation to my husband. This was highly unappreciated as an educated woman, or a woman period for that matter. This plumber will not receive a pleasant review from me to ANYONE. I am not happy with the way he conducts business nor the fact that he is not a man of his word to finish a job he agreed to. If he thought it was too much work and too big a job, all he had to do was originally deny the job. Instead, we were led on to believe he was going to complete it for us and 2 days later, left incredibly upset by his lack of completion. The original timeline given for our project was 2 days. That 2 days turned into 4 days, which we were okay with due to circumstances regarding COVID. Those 4 days then turned into a 'few weeks' scenario which was ultimately unacceptable. Even after he tried 'cutting corners' on our job by not wanting to complete every item on the original list of needs, we agreed to his way and it ultimately led to him cancelling the job. As previously stated, he will NEVER touch another piece of my plumbing or electrical nor receive a recommendation from us. We are highly disappointed in him after we hired him based on a good review from my husband's family.
