Only to to find out that there is an expiration.. next day ...I'm from the Bay Area we have Caltrain and Bart .. your purchase will not be deducted till u use it : No bathroom in this station Lesson learned .. I'll do it again since it's cheaper to take train$20 $49 for United $79 compared to $170 one way flying from Ontario Airport

No This station has so much potential, but it seems that the City of Ontario is going to let it wallow and shrivel into an empty shell of its former self. It's clear to me that they intended to use this station as a transport hub, as there is a bus depot along side the station, which actually has two platforms for each direction. However, the bus depot sits with no scheduled service, and only one platform is used for both directions... at least you won't get on the wrong train. The station is unmanned, with two automated ticket machines. No restroom facilities, but there is a random port-a-potty in the parking lot. The biggest shortcoming is no shuttle or bus directly to Ontario Airport. There are two roundabout ways I can think of to get to ONT: - Minimum walking: Walk out to Francis, turn right, and head to Haven. Pick up Omnitrans Line 81 northbound (away from the station), and transfer at Inland Empire Blvd to Line 61 westbound. Get off at Archibald and Airport, and this puts you a short walk away from the terminals. This route will involve some backtracking, crossing over the 10 Fwy twice. Also, the 81 only runs every 60 minutes. Estimated time once you catch the 81: 30-60 mins. - Fastest: Walk out to Francis, turn right, and head to Haven. Pick up Omnitrans Line 81 northbound (away from the station), and get off at Airport Drive. Walk west on Airport to the Rental Car Center on the corner, and take the shuttle to the airport. Estimated time once you catch the 81: 10-20 mins. This station has obviously turned into a commuter depot, as the large parking lot was almost full in the afternoon. At least it gets some use. Otherwise, it's located in a corporate parking with nothing of interest for the casual traveler. Some interesting decorations though. FYI - No access from Mission Blvd.

If you are looking for the best childcare/ transportation in Chino Safari Daycare is it. The owner…read moreJulie is very kind and ensures each child is receiving the best care possible. She creates fun outings for the summer where she takes the children to the park, movies, water park, party kingdom, and much more. During the school year, she can assist with transportation to and from school along with homework assistance. She is CPR certified and is a licensed Daycare. When I dropped off my children, I felt like they were safe, well cared for, and had open communication. Being a mom, it is always scary leaving your children somewhere new but Julie would send pictures, update me daily, and treat them with the upmost care. I would highly recommend Safari DayCare.

It was a bit nervewrecking because we didn't have any family here and had to look for someone that we can trust. We were so glad to find Ms. Julie, she is very dependable, detail-oriented and really care about the kids. She quickly put our minds at ease and we are really bummed that we had to leave because my little one was moving schools that was gonna be too far. I highly recommend Ms. Julie and Safari Daycare! Just amazing and my kids love Ms. Julie!

I am an avid supporter of taking public transit & love this particular station out of all the…read morestations I have lived by in the past. SAFETY: Safety is my biggest concern taking public transit. I have lived in both LA & SF, you can see some pretty crazy things on the train/ bus in those cities. This station is in a very nice residential area & has a large park & ride lot attached to it so the people here are all professional commuters going into LA & OC like me. There is also a security guard there 24/ 7 to keep the homeless people from sleeping there. The police presence is good too because you typically don't see homeless people in the area very much at all. This is incredible when you put into account that the county welfare building is directly on the other side of the 91. CLEANLINESS: When I lived in Oakland/ SF I would dread taking the BART because the stations were usually DISGUSTING. Metrolink does a great job keeping all their stations nice & clean. They powerwash the over crossing bridge every few months & the gardeners keep the landscaping very nicely done. SHOPS/ AMENITIES: This is where the review lost one star. This station is the perfect example of disgusting urban sprawl. The entire area's infrastructure is completely dependent on cars so the nearest shopping center is literally a half mile walk, the worst part is you can see it at the end of the station under the bridge. There needs to be a shaded sidewalk connecting the station to the shopping center. Right now you have to walk all the way out of the parking lot to Indiana and then all the way down to the light at La Sierra & across in 100+degree weather. Something needs to be done to make this area more pedestrian friendly - ASAP

Machine ticketing is terrible and doesn't prompt you that a day pass is a round trip…read more Ended up paying 12.50 for a single fair instead of 10 dollars for an all day fare. Plus they don't give refunds. I feel cheated and the paper form says lost fare not refundable. I ended up buying an all day pass after since it includes the trip back and is 10 dollars versus paying 12.50 each way. Spent 22.50 when cost should have only been 10. Make sure you look at the options for an all day pass, as for this 1 star, it's because I felt cheated. If Metrolink customer service would like to change my mind feel free to reach out.
