My fiancé went into this store to look around for the 1st time. It was a cold day so I stayed in…read morethe car. When he returned he said, "It's REALLY good you didn't come with me into the store!" I asked what happened. He told me an unleashed aggressive dog was standing directly inside the entrance and loudly snarled and growled at him as he tried to enter the store. The female owner of the dog&store told him the dog was a "rescue" and that it didn't take a liking to men. I have documented allergies to dogs and also fear them for their unpredictable nature as what happened when he casually walked into the store. It's a shame because he probably would have bought me something warm to wear if the dog had not been there growling at him. Also, I only buy second hand from smoke&pet free homes/stores. *Message to management: I've never owned a clothing store, but I've worked at one. It's very important for customers to feel safe and welcomed when trying on clothes and window shopping. In what world is it considered civilized to have an unleashed, untrained and aggressive dog positioned at the head of the store? You are actively discriminating against men shopping at your store by bringing this dog to work. Men like to surprise their girlfriend or wife or mother with something nice to wear from time to time. If you don't have liability insurance for potential dog bites when a man enters your store it might be time to get some. Or, better yet, just install a modern security system and leave your aggressive dog at home or bring it to a shelter. You will be doing the city of Raleigh and it's citizens a favor.

Most items were priced very, very low. BUT! Buyer beware!…read more Examine potential purchases carefully. I found two rips in a bed sheet I was looking at. A couple of the purses were significantly stained inside or had cracked straps. Art was 50% the Thursday I went. I didn't see anything special. Another door sign says to wear a mask, but even the clerk was wearing his as a beard bib. Everyone else was unmasked or with their nose exposed. The items under the scarves in the 25c and 50c bin were the source of most of my little finds. However, I also bought two very high-quality woven baskets for $5 total. I imagine they were at least 30 times higher when new. Items are very organized by category. It would be nice if clothes were sorted a bit more. It's too much to ask they sort by size, but putting short sleeves and long sleeves in separate areas would be useful. $3.25 for a shirt seems a bit high to me. Ties & belts were $1/each. Linens were priced differently depending on bed size and number of pieces. Dig deeply here. I found that an adorable twin set had its matching pillowcases hidden on a different shelf. They also had furniture, baby items, kids' toys and jewelry. I will definitely be back here again! The store felt a bit more grubby than most. I can't say exactly why, but I wouldn't buy any upholstered here. Everything I bought could be thrown in the laundry or sprayed with Lysol.

Smells like cats bc there are live cats** Don't go if you…read morehave allergies badly** Came in kind of later on a weekday- parking available for free at the front which is great. Overall, it's a really cute idea and I appreciate the cause behind the thrift store. They have actual cats up for adoption in the back. Overall, the store itself is a little bit chaotic because there's just so much stuff. All the clothes seem to be just thrown onto hangers and not necessarily organized by size that I could tell. Some of it was relatively organized by type of clothing, and there was a kid section, a men's section, and a women's section Their prices were kind of hit or miss to me. Some things were reasonably priced in the brick rack section but other times you'd get other items that were like $15 which didn't make sense to me. (See photos) Same goes for anything branded they definitely give it a higher tag. For example, I liked a sweater Forever 21 and it ended up being like $14 so I put it back. Furniture was same- $100+ for a small shelf then dropped to $80 but I wouldn't have spent that much at a thrift shop. It's not an antique store in my opinion. The employees were nice and greeted me as I came in as well as when I left. Overall, I'd come back when I had more time to sift through a bunch of things, but not sure it would be anytime too soon since it's highly focused on clothes

I love this store! Typically they have great prices and I always find stuff for the fur babiesread more
