However, as the RV was tethered in, he suggested Jay Wiseman. This sweet man went beyond kind to help us, quickly returned calls, very fair prices, and great work. Altho already retired, he was doing this to help his son. Over 2 years ago, per my rq, Jay special ordered a programmable thermostat, which I had to prepay, and was told he the $134 would include his bringing over and installing. A short time after this Jay had to medically retire, and I was told his son would do it. Although the next time I reached Jay, I was told his son had already taken care of it.. over the next several months, his son never called me, returned my calls or messages, yet still has my $134.00. I am in my late 60s only on social security, but it looks like I have taken a $134 loss. I do not know what became of the unit or my money. Without Jay, I cannot in good faith suggest his son for any service, for repairs or any parts.

He tried to charge me $480 for a battery for my jeep wrangler which didn't include installation. When i refused, he tried to charge me $70, half an hour of diagnostics, for checking 2 of my fluids (oil & transmission fluid) without performing the diagnostic on my transmission, i was there to get a transmission diagnostics. In addition, got mad and hung up in my face because i chose to take it elsewhere. Horrible experience, I highly DO NOT recommend. The new shop I took it to informed me that my battery that was already in the jeep was under warranty and I can switch it out if I want or he can get me a better battery (same battery that Risters tried to charge me $480 for), for $250.

Finally had an issue out of my scope of knowledge to repair & had to reach out to a service company. The single slide out on the camper was jammed on the right side. Got ahold of Chris. He mentioned he was an hour away & would be there the same day, toward the early evening hours. My wife was at the camper waiting. When he was there, I believe he was able to diagnose the problem, but unfortunately, did not have the parts to repair the problem. He mentioned he could get the slide out. But we would have to manually slide it back in. He would have to order the part or parts & return on a later date. Outside of that, he spent an hour chitchatting with my wife. Before leaving, he mentioned to my wife he would communicate with her the next day and schedule a time to return with the parts. Chris never called back. This was on a Monday and two weeks later, I called Chris and he agreed that we had fell off his radar. He mentioned to me that he would get the part numbers that evening and reach back out. Four days later that has still yet to happen. At this point, I'm being forced to reach out to another company to have the service completed. The $300 we paid Chris for his travel & time was pointless. I definitely do not recommend his service.

They didn't diagnose my car correctly and then tried to say the part they bought was defective…read moreafter they put it on wrong and messed up the little spring. Overcharged us for the part by over $1,000 dollars and then afterwards I call to find out that there's now lights on my dashboard when there was NONE to begin with. The Jeep dealership wouldn't help them program my car due to the part being put on wrong as well as them having some of the new parts in the front seat. Those parts should've been on there but they were trying to cut corners, did not work out at all. After all this I asked for my car back with my old parts cause I didn't trust them to do anything with my car. But they said no. My car has been gone for about 2 weeks and counting. We now have hired a lawyer to sue them for negligence. Do your research and take your car somewhere else unless you like to pay for them to destroy your car.
