I received a blowout here, and unfortunately, the heat used during the service left my hair with a strong burnt odor and noticeable split ends. I have tape-in extensions that were already chemically processed to a ginger color, so appropriate heat care was especially important. Based on the condition of my hair afterward, I was very concerned about heat damage. I contacted the salon to explain the situation and requested a refund because I did not feel comfortable returning for a corrective service or having additional heat applied to my hair. My request was denied, and I found the response to my concerns dismissive and unprofessional. I was also concerned that, during our phone conversation, the stylist who performed my service falsely represented himself to me as the location manager. I have since escalated my concerns through the appropriate corporate channels. Mistakes can happen, but I believe how a business responds to a customer's concerns is equally important. Based on my experience, I would recommend exercising caution if you have extensions or chemically processed hair.

She has such a great sense of humor and makes the entire appointment feel comfortable and fun. As someone with naturally curly hair, I'm usually very nervous about letting people touch it because not everyone knows how to work with curls. Salvi completely changed that for me. From the way she gently brushes my hair to the way she applies the color and styles it, you can tell she truly cares about the health of your hair. She pays attention to every detail and works with so much care and precision. Every time I leave, my hair feels incredibly smooth, healthy, and beautiful with no unnecessary breakage. I'm always amazed by the results. If you're looking for someone who is talented, caring, and truly passionate about what she does, I can't recommend Salvi enough!

When I requested a full refund because the service was not performed as agreed, I was offered only a partial refund. The owner later called me and said that even this partial refund was a "favor" because they normally don't issue refunds. She also made a point of telling me that she has a legal education, which I found particularly surprising considering her apparent lack of understanding of basic consumer protection principles when a paid service is not delivered as agreed. Very disappointing service and an even more disappointing response to a legitimate customer complaint.

I do recommend booking in advance since their head spa is very popular specifically for the hair growth treatment. You definitely will leave feeling relaxed with a clean scalp. Unfortunately, I've had repeated issues with scheduling at this location. Even when I book an appointment with Helen a few days in advance, I sometimes get a call asking me to come earlier if I still want to see her. Then, when I arrive at my originally scheduled time, I'm told that I can only have a dry style. It's frustrating to book ahead specifically with a stylist and still have my appointment changed or limited. I really wish the scheduling and communication were more consistent because Helen herself is amazing. She is professional, does beautiful work, and is truly the best!

Before…read moreleaving, we were asked to leave a review in exchange for a discounted service or free product, which I think is important context for anyone reading the reviews. While I'm happy with how my perm turned out, the salon was overbooked. I completely understand stylists working with other clients while hair is processing, but my digital perm took about 6 hours, with a lot of waiting when I was clearly ready for the next step because my stylist was occupied with other clients. He was called on by the front desk at least 3 times that new/different clients were ready for him. My friend and I were both there for over six hours--surprisingly, her full highlights took even longer. I was also confused by the pricing. During the consultation, I was told that a certain hair length would put the perm at around $400, while keeping the length I wanted would make it closer to $600. That was already surprising considering it was only about a 2-inch difference in length for roughly $200 more. But then my hair was cut to approximately the shorter length anyway, and my final price was still $550. I'm not really sure how the pricing was calculated based on that. My friend's highlights were $500, even though her hair is shorter than mine, and her hair ended up looking surprisingly similar to how it did before. Between both of our services, the pricing felt very high for the overall experience. I do want to emphasize that I'm satisfied with how my perm looks and appreciated the care my stylist took while he was actually working with me. Unfortunately, between the six-hour appointment, the amount of waiting, and the price, I'm not sure the experience was worth it for me.

My hair and scalp felt squeaky clean! Then it was back to Subin for the finishing touches. She listened to exactly what I wanted while still giving me honest professional advice, which I really appreciated. She also recommended getting a haircut beforehand, and I'm SO glad I listened. I have really thick hair with a lot of density, and she spent about 40 minutes cutting it. She didn't rush at all and was so meticulous. She removed just enough weight while keeping my length, added beautiful long layers, and gave my hair so much more movement and dimension. The perm came out exactly how I was hoping! I cannot say enough good things about this salon and Jennifer!!…read more I requested a same day appointment as I had botched hair extensions put in at another salon the day before. Jennifer agreed to accommodate me and even stayed after hours to work on me. She assessed my hair and decided what to do (we ended up removing 50% of the extensions -- the previous salon had added too much hair so she could charge me for more hair, which was one of the reasons I ended up looking like I was wearing a wig). Jennifer cut the width of the extensions and replaced them at the most natural position for my head shape, and blended everything together seamlessly. Jennifer, you are amazing!!! Thank you so much. I will definitely be back!
