My smart Logitech doorbell had already been installed and operational. What I needed help with was installing the chime. The tech was unable to connect the doorbell chime downstairs, only connected it upstairs for some reason ( both chime boxes are exactly the same wiring & setup). While the tech was here I inquired about a smart thermostat install downstairs (I had someone else install a nest upstairs previously). He did the same thing as he did with the downstairs chime install, opened the wiring and told me the same excuse about certain wiring and that he was unable to connect it... in reality he had no idea what he was talking about so I sent him on his way. Results: The doorbell chime upstairs worked for a short period and now has stopped chiming when rang. Considering this was the only part I had requested serviced not much was done. I had to pay $115 for a "full smart doorbell install" just for 1 out of 2 chimes in my house to be attempted & installed incorrectly. I am new on HelloTech. Daniel S. was the computer guy who came to fix my printer and clean up my computer. He was pleasant, professional, tech savvy, (yet patient with those who are not,!), able to communicate what he is doing in language everyone can understand and continues working on a problem until it is solved. (He was willing to come back before work the next day to finish working on an issue that was unduly complicated)  In short, he is (or ought to be) what every Technology Customer Service is looking for! I was not certain that I wanted to spend so much on a Hello Tech membership. But after Daniel completed fixing my computer/printer issues, I knew that what I had paid was WELL worth the amount (and then some!). I would hope he would receive some sort of promotion or commendation from his company because I will gladly refer friends and colleagues to you based on the level of ability I saw in him.  At the very least, he should train all Technology Customer Service people nationwide! He wasnt going to do a professional job so we actually had to tell him what to do. Leaving a wire in a wall with a hole showing isnt right. We had him install a cable plate. He left without telling us he damaged our wall. We paid $800 to have our living room painted and he tore off the paint down to the sheetrock and the sheetrock first layer was torn off also. HelloTech - Newly Installed Tv - IT Services & Computer Repair Near Me

Tech was 45 minutes late (he called about an hour before to let me know he was going to be late... but why book an appointment so far away? He was coming from Naples (about 2 hour drive with no traffic). Why not a local tech or book appt for one of the alternate times? Once here, other than providing some mounting bolts and spacers, and zip ties, all he did was take down my old tv, but the mounting bracket on my new tv (and didn't use the spacers provided with the tv that I found after he left (he didn't refer to tv instruction manual at all). Tech could not get the soundbar mounting bracket to work with the new soundbar, not entirely his fault, but needless to say, the soundbar was not installed (even though I was charged for it). For hiding the wires, he reused what was already there from previous tv (not really an issue, but I was still charged for hiding of wires). I did not like being slammed into another $20 in fees or a subscription when I checked out. I'm not even sure that is legal since it was not disclosed anywhere that I could see prior to checkout. Based on my experience, I would not use this service again, nor will I recommend to anyone else. In fact, I would warn against it. read more

Very unsatisfied! I ordered installation of wall mount for 65" TV, sound bar and cables. I was expecting this to be an easy job for a pro installer. Tech absolutely refused to look at installation guides. Installation is a mess: (1) The full-motion wall mount is screwed into DRYWALL ANCHORS, NOT STUDS. The manufacturer explicitly states that this is unsafe, and calls for lag screws into studs. (2) The soundbar mount is installed BACKWARDS! As a result, the mounting screw holes don't align and soundbar is barely attached to the brackets. Tech likely stripped the mounting threads in the soundbar trying to drive screws in diagonally with a power driver. (3) Wall plate for thru-wall power cables is NOT ATTACHED TO WALL because tech cut hole in sheetrock too big and mixed up the screws that attach box to sheetrock vs. screws that attach cover plate to box. (4) Did not reconnect any cables, tidy cables along mount, or test after install. (5) No clean up at all, left a MESS. See pictures attached. HelloTech is a hoax. Don't use them. We booked a cable running service with them in early January. It's now mid-March (over 8 weeks later) and they still haven't completed the job. Their tech was on a completely different schedule than their scheduling service. When he did come, he missed with his drill. This damaged the drywall in the closet of the adjacent bedroom from where he was supposed to be working. He said we would have to schedule another technician visit to finish the cable run. We submitted a damage claim. Jazmine J., the rep assigned to us, refused to call and would communicate only by email. It took several emails back and forth with only one email per day to learn we needed to book our own repair service. When we did, she nitpicked us on the line items in the invoice. Even worse, she would not dispatch another tech to finish the job until we completed the repair. What were they going to do if the second tech did the same thing?! We get the repair done at the end of January. HelloTech and Jazmine are still stonewalling on reimbursing the damage claim. I request a supervisor and get Anthony A. on 2/1. He's more helpful: gets the language right so they can reimburse the invoice, sends us the agreement form for us to sign and return (which we do on 2/8), and tells us we'll receive our payment in 1-2 weeks. He doesn't, however, schedule us a follow-up visit for another tech to complete the job. After several attempts, I try their scheduling department again. They respond to phone calls but not follow up emails. So here we are on 3/16. I still haven't gotten a reimbursement for the damage repair. They still haven't sent a tech to finish the job. And they left cables lying about in a bedroom rather than cleaning up after themselves. I don't recommend HelloTech for any of your cable-running needs. Their customer service is terrible. Their communications are not responsive. And they don't follow through after they've charged you. It would have been easier to run this myself. read more

My father who is blind had an appointment scheduled 2 weeks in advance and they cancelled it then said they would be out 3 days later never showed then said it would be the next day and did not show again then said they would be there again and surprise the did not show again. They are more than willing to take your money but will not provide the service. I called and got a rude customer service rep who hung up on me( I did not say any blue words and was willing to wait for their supervisor) still no call from the supervisor nor has any one showed up. So I've can expect that they are knowledgeable of the Logitech products, YOU SRE WRONGLY ASSUMED. The first tech showed up not even with one tool, he even asked me for a screwdriver and a chair to sit while installing the doorbell. VERY YOUG PERSON, asking for s chair, very weird and the only experience he Gad that he installed the ring doorbell.
