Hello World is a phenomenal program. My son, 11 yrs, has taken the after school class for two years and has attended summer camps for two summers. The instructors are the perfect mix of educators and coding experts who create a curriculum based on the latest real world coding needs. The projects the kids do are not "dumbed down" to kid level, yet are structured and paced so that anyone new to coding can be successful from day one. Kids can work at their own pace and instructors are always happy to help with any special projects/ideas a student may want to work on. Since starting Hello World, my son has become passionate about coding. He is now more engaged in school and has very concrete goals for his future thanks to this program. Hello World also does a great job of teaching the importance of collaboration and teamwork which is crucial for today's screen loving kids who may not have had as much social interaction in the past. Lastly, the program "tracks" the student's progress so parents can monitor growth over time. I highly recommend this program. Hello World camps have a wealth of opportunities that impact the community and enrich the lives of the children who participate and also the parents. The programs are excellent and the Game Engineering Course has made a lasting impact on my kid. This summer, my kid attended for the first time to the Game Engineering Course. I was worried because my kid did not have any experience or any background in programming and gaming is not something that is big in our family, however, the passion that the teachers share with the students and the knowledge they transfer to their students, made a big impact on my kid`s views for Engineering. We enjoyed learning through "Remind" the daily progress that our kid made. At the end of camp, we attended the presentation and were able to see first hand the creativity of the students in making the games. We as parents are impress on the ability of the teachers to have each student share their own project and creation. We value and are grateful for their dedication and would like to recommend other parent to try these programs. Hello World camps and programs are a breath of fresh air! They are able to give meaningful instruction to kids of all ages. I was quite impressed with their structure as it is laid out very clearly and the tasks within each level help each child accomplish the skills necessary to keep accelerating. Although the levels can be challenging, the instructors are there to help with prompts and give the kids the opportunity to learn and work at their own pace. Also, it is the first time that I received such detailed daily feedback that was individualized specifically to my child. Plus, they have an open door policy for all parents. I would highly recommend any and all of their camps/programs. Oh...and if your child says they are not interested in being a 'coder' then send them to Hello World as it will open their eyes up on all the possibilities and aspects within the tech industry. Hello World classes and camps have been extremely valuable for my kids. The program is top quality from start to finish - from the instructors to the behind the scenes staff to the online workspace and tools, and the curriculum, everything is so well done. All camps and classes allow for students from beginner to advanced and all are accommodated at their level. In addition, students can work at their own pace and take as much time as they need or go as far as they're able with the material and there is always plenty of help and instruction available. We've been so impressed with not only what the our kids have learned in these classes but how their entire outlook of STEM has changed - it's like a whole new world of opportunities have opened up to them. We are so blessed and grateful that we were introduced to Hello World. This is Alexia's third year at the camp and she is enjoying it immensely. This is NOT your regular summer camp...it is very intense and really pushes the students to excel - and it shows! Alexia is so far ahead during the regular school year in her math and science classes and this is all due to Hello Worlds programs and incredible instructors. Hello World Studios is an amazing coding camp for kids of all ages. My daughter, a high schooler, was worried beforehand that the camp would teach things she already knew. Its curriculum definitely goes beyond what it taught at school, and even has current world applications as well. The camp environment is phenomenal, and the connection between student and mentor, and staff and parents, is strong. My daughter learned a great deal from this program, not only in coding, but in cooperating with people she has never met before. She gained many friends, and they plan on going into a long-term project together with a mentor from the camp. And all this happened in one week! read more

My son has participated in both after school classes and summer camps with Hello World. The programs, instructors, course work and operations are top notch. They far exceed other programs offering similar experiences. The kids are challenged, met at their individual level and can progress at their own pace all within an established framework of robust curriculum. My son is only 10 but has learned valuable real world programming techniques that he has applied in other projects. My son has attended two summer camps at Hello World. From the instructors to the curriculum, this is hands down my son's favorite camp. The people are smart, friendly and well-educated. This summer he created a virtual reality game, and then came home to expand upon what he created. The instructors have even been available via email for feedback for him as he continues to build out his game. The camp is very good about adapting the curriculum to your child's skill level. Hello World provides an amazing educational experience to your child. Our son started taking classes at his elementary school and also attended a summer camp.
