UPDATE! This is…read moreintended to serve as a reminder that TETE A TETE Cafeteria is not just another coffee shop, it is different and its standards must remain on a higher level. My first visit to Tete a Tete was 8/19, I was reeled in by the aura, elegance, and the enthusiasm from Aiysha, a remarkable employee that gave me exemplary service that made me return. 5/5 My second visit to Tete a Tete was 8/30, another astounding visit. Jamie was my customer rep. He set the fanciest tea set before me so that I can sit and enjoy it. And his customer service exceeded all of my expectations. 5/5 and an additional 5/5. We even indulge in a little conversation just to follow suit with the theme. I was compelled to purchase more products. My third visit was on 8/31. My order was all wrong and the finest of tea sets were not set before me. So, compared to my previous experience, I am going to give that service a 1 1/2 star. There was no consistency that was displayed, to be number one or to be different, if you start with stellar service, you have to end with stellar service. I did see a lot of distraction on that day, but I won't call it out. Let's talk about the grand opening and this is where improvement is needed. Jamie was on sight and I guess that kept the energy and the level of customer service above par. I strongly believe that if he was not present, things may not have been a total success. So, there was a big crowd, and I am ecstatic that I was on site to witness. Jamie greeted me by name and that shows that he knows his customer on another level and took time to build that relationship. Bravo Jamie. You are the initial pivotal point on why I return. I ordered the ham and cheese croissant with the americano drip, French vanilla and I asked for extra syrup, just because. It was by one get -50% off second. Jamie was kind enough to make the second cup at my request. As I was taking my time and eating and I am almost done with my breakfast, another worker comes and grabs my plate while I have another bite on my plate. There is no situational awareness here. I am pissed now because why are you just taking my food? I grabbed the last piece and told her that she can take the plate. She then reaches over me for my napkins to throw them away. I am like, I need those. How rude! 3 out of 5 only because of Jamie. The final rating is 3 stars. There are serious improvements needed. They have 1 more day of the grand opening, I sure hope that they get it right. Inspire more, Yelp more!

I've been coming here for about 7 years. I buy these Nata's by the dozen; for gift items or whenever I need a group dessert. They are a guaranteed hit every single time! I even bring several dozen everytime I visit relatives who live in MA! Current Prices (as of 5/2026): $2.25 per Nata $27 per Dozen There have recently been a slew of Macau-Style Portuguese Egg Tart places opening up all over Flushing, Queens. All of these new bakeries are Asian owned, and part of Asian bakery chains renowned from different parts of Asia. (You should see the lines at these bakeries in Flushing!). Very innovative, with unique flavored egg tarts (Ube, tiramisu, green tea, etc). But I think the plain, original Nata's from Bakers of All Nations is still the best. Alot of the new Macau-Style tarts are very good but I'm biased to Baker of All Nation's version. They never disappoint! They are always fresh and sometimes still warm from the oven!

It's the kind of smell that instantly tells you you're about to have a great day. Our afternoon tea experience started with chilled water and refreshing peach iced tea being brought to the table when we were seated. Then the food started arriving, with our first pot of Darjeeling tea. Fresh baked orange cranberry scones were buttery, and tender with bright citrus flavor and bursts of sweet tart cranberry. Slathered with their homemade Devonshire cream and fruit preserves, every bite was rich, silky, and absolutely heavenly. The mixed berry salad cups were fresh and vibrant, combining crisp mixed greens with juicy strawberries, plump blueberries, perfectly roasted lemon pepper chicken, and a sweet, tangy fig balsamic dressing that tied every flavor together beautifully. The mini feta arugula quiche had a flaky, buttery crust filled with creamy egg custard, salty feta, and peppery arugula for the perfect savory bite. Dessert was every sweet tooth's dream. The chocolate ganache thumbprints were rich, fudgy, and decadent, while the crumb cake was incredibly soft with a thick buttery cinnamon crumble that tasted just like it came out of Grandma's oven. To end the experience, we were offered a second pot of tea and chose the Red Velvet Tea, a smooth, subtly cocoa blend with hints of raspberry that paired perfectly with dessert.
