We have been driving by this place for months unsure of going there since parking is in the back at this relatively new center. Doesn't the city / county know that many of these businesses don't do well since who wants to park in the back at night or maybe even during the day in this area. Anyways last night (May 17) we parked in the back and I walked down the central exterior hallway to the front door. I confirmed that the place could take 2 customers with one male and one female masseuses. Went back and got my SO and locked up the car (chirp) and went back in the entrance. I noticed that the empty business next door was where the waiting workers were resting waiting for customers. They probably should put something on the windows since it does not look too good with them sitting around but oh well . . .
The lobby had a computer screen on the desk where I could see they had multiple cameras with at least one where they can see some of the cars in the back parking lot. It was 9:00pm but I could see my car a bit on the screen. I did notice workers entering/exiting the back door often so I guess my car would be safe (for a while). After bypassing the curtain to the foot massage area; there were many chairs but the whole large room was empty. Ok . . . well I don't care; I'm there to try this place out. We get the furthest chairs to the back left. I'm guessing they can do 12 - 16 people at one time for foot massage if they had enough workers but I really didn't count the chairs.
I have never seen these kind of chairs and we have been to quite a few different places. These chairs were fully reclined so you lay back the entire time while on your back. I noticed they had a wired remote in a side pocket which probably raises/lowers the chair back but it was never used. So the normal process starts where you remove your shoes and socks while they go get the bucket of hot water. After placing your feet in the hot water; they begin to massage your head, face, neck, shoulders then arms. My masseuse was "Mike" (your know, the English given name) and he did a pretty good job since I needed a stronger massage. I never asked him to go harder or softer and he never asked so it was pretty quiet the majority of the time. Mike seemed to know what he was doing and did some things that you can tell is getting the good spots unlike some others. The rest is the same where they remove and dry your feet; massage your feet; wipe down with the hot towels; flip over and do your back so I will skip the typical steps.
After completion; they did not have the normal "check" holder where you leave a tip and it was a little strange/uncomfortable to tip them. Normally when giving money, gift cards or similar; we enclose our gift to people in a card or some sort of envelope and it just makes thing a little nicer and private. Hopefully the establishment can remember to give these to their workers. These also normally have the worker's name on it so we do not have to ask the person their name if you have not already. After thanking and tipping our masseuse; we were about to leave but the owner came by and I asked him about the pricing of a regular massage ($35 hour) and he showed us the corridor where the massage rooms are. So when entering the lobby the back left side is the foot massage area and the back right side is the body massage area. The very back is their area of where they have the towels, sinks, hot water buckets, etc. The owner let us go out the back since it was closer to the car and they were going to clean up before going home since it about 10pm.
Conclusion:
Location: B- Not difficult to find; small store front, Stockton Blvd like many others
Inside: B Clean, no problems; plenty of room for all your friends or co-workers
Massage: A- Nice massage and quiet but there no other customers
Price: A $15! Great price but may go up after more popularity
Personnel: A Good, quiet friendly workers
Safety: C- The place was safe but it was nighttime; not the businesses fault but always be aware even during the day! Lighting was fine in front, the hall to the front from the back and the parking lot.
I recommend this legitimate place especially for $15 but go with a friend or two . . . or three . . . :) read more
