I do not recommend Hello Mobile to anyone. I have been a Hello Mobile customer for four months and have consistently paid my monthly bill. Unfortunately, I experienced a service interruption today. Upon contacting customer service, I was informed of a technical issue preventing the activation of new services using QR codes. But why do I need a QR code if I have a valid numbers from them? And they offered me to wait a week, if they receive a QR code then they will be able to help fix their problem. Isn't this crazy? scammers. I find it concerning that this problem has persisted for long enough to affect existing customers. I would appreciate a more timely resolution and a clear explanation of how this issue will be addressed to prevent future disruptions. read more

NEGATIVE TEN, if possible - This is the WORST mobile / cell service ever! Hello Mobile will take your money instantly but will not send the eSim QR code for activation. I have been calling, chatting and emailing to no avail. Still waiting for over 3 wks for activation, nothing but the same old excuses... "will update with delivery....." when eSIMs are supposed to be activated within minutes of payment. Also, it's impossible to ask for a refund or cancelation of account, and your credit card information cannot be removed without replacing it with a new card number. Typically the autopay works fine. This morning I got a message to pay or I'd loose my service. I tried to pay online. Kept getting error messages. Tried putting my credit card back on the autopay - rejected. I did get to talk with someone on the phone this morning and all they did was to say they would send it up the line . Stay as far away from Hello Mobile as possible. Hello Mobile (Qlink) is pretty much as "bottom of the barrel" as you can get with cell providers. Not only do they consistently have total service outages on the beginning of every month that last anywhere from 24-72 hours, they have no actual customer support. If you try calling in, expect to wait anywhere from 45-90 minutes to get someone. Once you finally do, they are never able to actually help you. Their chat service is just as bad. Looking into their business (Hello Mobile, Qlink, Quadrant Holdings) you'll find some really shady stuff going on, and I would honestly not be surprised one bit to see that Hello Mobile is really just a front for money laundering. Just to give you a tiny idea of their shady practices, on their home page towards the bottom, it shows that they are a BBB accredited business. Well if you go to the BBB website, it shows they are NOT accredited. I am very suspicious of the other 3 "awards" they have listed as well. Oh, and their "100% satisfaction guarantee" is a full on lie. They will always refuse to give you a refund, even if you didn't use their service for the month you paid for. I left for a different carrier on May 3rd after 3 days of having no service, and they refused to refund me May's bill despite using literally 0% of their service in May. I have had 3 lines with hello mobile for close to 4years now, was bumpy initially but gradually settled in, about 3 weeks ago I received a message asking me to upgrade to ESIM, exa where my trouble started, I received the Esim, and have been calling to have it activated, sometime I am on hold for 2 hours, till I would finally give up and end the call myself, but since the day before yesterday, when I place a call, a message comes in saying that my line are expiring on the 8th of Nov, and that I needed to get an alternative carrier and transfer my service. I so with these review systems would allow for NEGATIVE ratings. that is what this phone carrier is garbage. Speeds so slow you have to download maps at home on wifi before navigating anywhere. They are lying to you about 5G, they could never get my new iPhone 13 to 5g, they just told me it was the phone and I was in a bad area, While my T-Mobile iPad was sitting next to my phone screaming 5g speeds. So in trying to move away their customer service is so inept that they when I asked for the PIN number to port the phone numbers away they neglected to unlock my account, it has now been 5 days and I do not have my phone numbers moved. They have zero clue how to run a communications company. I ordered a phone, I got those that you can get for free on the free cellular service places, I paid $29 for this piece of crap. No way to exchange SIm card and the worse part, the company assigned a wrong area code and nobody can fix the problem on the company. They cannot guarantee the phone numbers. I wish I could give their customer service 0 stars. You cannot cancel their service via their online portal. They do not answer their customer service phone line. I have been on hold for more than an hour before being cut off. I attempted to end service with their chatbot and was told by the bot that it was canceling my service, then disconnected. I was unable get back in touch with their bot that day. I sent an email to cancel the service that day. I received no confirmation and a bill for service was generated. I contacted the bot again and called again. The bot said that I was already canceled and refused to send email confirmation or to send email confirmation before disconnecting me. I finally got through on the phone and they said my service had been cancelled by the bot earlier that day (not on the date of my previous chat or email). They refused to cancel out the charge and when they finally agreed to send a confirmation email the email stated that I still needed to call their customer service line. They refused to send an email that stated definitively that my account was canceled and refused to reverse the charge that they generated after their bot said that I was canceled (before the new service period) and after I had sent an email that followed their instructions for cancellation prior to the new service period. This is the worst customer service I've ever received. Avoid this company at all costs, the low price is not worth the headaches and hours on the phone waiting for customer service. read more

I am writing this review to make sure that people do not waste their time with this company. Their deal was a bit too good to be true. $25 unlimited talk, text and data + hotspot.. with 5 lines, it drops to $17 per line.. I could not believe it. So I kept talking to several representatives to make sure that is the case.. Because on their website, it says $25 plan requires $15 extra for hotspot.. but they all insisted that it is outdated info and it is now included.. So I believed them and signed up just 1 line.. I got the sim card..and tested it out.. hotspot turns on and device can get connected... BUT... there is no data.. I tried different phones and same thing happened.... Then when I tried to call customer service, it was at least 15~20 min each time I called, then endless questions that had nothing to do with my issues .. they first said that a tech support will call me.. they never called. Then another rep said he needs to transfer me to a tech support but they are closed and I need to call back the next day.. When I called back the next day, they finally transferred me to tech support and it says "estimated wait time.. 65 min"... each time I called, they asked for exact same information that I already provided many times... man I wasted so much time.. Please stay away from hello mobile. On last suturday I got a message from hello mobile to free upgrade the sim. I upgraded it with eSIM option. But installation got failed. I got error the code is invalid. I started calling their customer care they said something happened with the eSIM apply for a new eSIM which is $5 and retry. But when I tried that option it showed out of stock. I am in completely outage. I am calling to their customer care till now everyday waiting more than one hour each time in line but no luck. They are physical sim option is showing order processing and eSIM is out of stock. I am in a dead end now. I tried to port out my number and the request is pending with them for last 4 days they are not approving the PON. I had my account forever, it still says what the promised when I joined, unlimited everything, data, msgs, calls, well, i have 4 phones with them, 3 we hardly use out of home base with a land extra connection, resuming, if my 4 phones united, reach 16gbites of data transfered (that is 4 gb each prorated) they interrupt (not lower speed, interrupt) the service until the next cycle, you call to protest and they tell you they can't help, it is all automatic, you ask for the limit or any info and they say the computer decides that, that they can't help, no matter supervisor or anyone, disgusting, incredible and upsetting, my wife just got disconnected, until the next cycle, only option is to pay and outrageous price on extra data!!!! Worst customer service ever. My internet service went out on Sunday. I spent over an hour with customer service. The first two reps were duds because I couldn't understand them and there was terrible feedback of my own voice. Finally I got a nice fellow who told me tech support wasn't available until Monday. On Monday I was told the cell tower in my area was out of service and to try it in a few hours. Nothing. On Tuesday I was told 72 hours. On Friday with still no service I was told I had exceeded my UNLIMITED data plan. (Apparently it was a fiction that a cell tower was out.) Since they do not issue partial refunds I will use my phone to make calls until my next payment is due. Meanwhile I will research better plans. Why are Qlink employees so rude. First when I called yesterday a recording said I could wait or leave my number and they would return my call. I left my number, then the recording said it would take 48 hours to return my call!!!!!!!!!(Say that first, I needed something fixed on my phone now). I called back and it took 40 minutes to get someone on the phone. Why? Don't you have enough phones? Or do you have that bad of service?
