I normally get a touch up on my color, she trims up my hair, she also styles it (sometimes she uses a straight iron to make my hair straight & smooth) other times she curls my hair, if I'm headed out for a night on the town. Most times she waxes my brows for me as well. A typical visit includes a stop at the color bar where the freshening up of my hair color takes place. The chairs are comfortable, & there are snacks nearby if you need a little something to hold you over until lunch or dinner. Every time as soon as I enter, I'm greeted by the receptionist, & she asks if I need anything to drink - a soda, or water (you can get a canned soda, or a glass with ice) they also have wine & bourbon as well if you're really having a bad day or week. I usually sit at the color bar while the touch up is being done, as well as the time it takes for it to process. After that, it's off to the shampoo bowl (which is probably my favorite part)! The color is rinsed off, I get shampood, conditioner, & toner. This is also where my brows are done. Lastly we go to her chair where she trims & styles my hair. The salon is very well laid out, there are 4-5 salon chairs laid out in each section, so when your stylist is taking care of you it doesn't get so loud that you can't carry on a conversation. At J Michael's you can get a manicure, pedicure, a facial, you can have your makeup done, get a massage, lash extensions, and even microblading. They are definitely a full service salon. It's bright & airy, people are friendly, & there's always music playing, & it's generally a wonderful place to get pampered. There's plenty of parking just outside the door of the salon. I'd definitely recommend J Michael's if you're looking for a good place to be spoiled. The products Paige uses on my hair leaves it feeling soft & looking healthy. I typically buy several of those she uses on me, every other visit so I can keep my hair looking just as nice as when I leave the salon.

I was sent a text reminder to confirm my visit and another update 15 minutes prior to my appointment telling me to text Y when I arrived. I got there a couple of minutes prior to my appointment. Masks required. The team greeted me and got me a water, plus pointed out Sam to me. Fantastic shampoo and my hair smelled divine! Sam let me know the type of shampoo she was using on my hair and why, then helped me determine which style to go with for my event. I decided to do "sleek and smooth", which is exactly what I left with, and what I still have the following day. My hair feels great and Sam was kind. I appreciated her not rushing my experience and providing me with a great blow out. Reasonably priced as well, compared to other spots. I'll be back, 100%!

She was really attentive to what I wanted and also my hair. She showed me some hair products that brought my game up a bit. She was able to shape my brows without making me look effeminate. I like to sometimes unload some conversations with her about everything and so she listens. Even though she doesn't have to. It's like having a captive audience. It sucky sometimes when I say something not thinking lol. They take you upstairs to get your eyebrow waxed on a nice comfortable chair with a light.
