The very detailed directions to her place were excellent, and didn't have any issues finding her building nor with parking either. My appointment started right on the time I scheduled it, no waiting - that was a plus! Right off the bat, she greeted me with the most welcoming and friendly attitude into her beautifully decorated studio, that I felt I was going into Barbie's glam room - very posh! I was excited to be there because I've gotten to the point in my pregnancy where I can't shave "down there" anymore - and I really needed to get rid of the hair, but at the same time I was also nervous because I didn't really know what to expect pain-wise. Luckily, Jill was very personable and explained everything before starting the session, she made me feel as I've known her forever! She also talked to me during the course of the session which really helped during the most intense moments of the waxing, and overall the whole deal was very manageable especially having some good laughs in between with Jill while she was working on me. The session lasted about 20 minutes, or could've been less, easy peasy! I have had the regular bar facial and they tailor it to you and if you have any issues you'd like them to focus on. The bar facial is done in an open area where other guests are also getting treatments done. If you want a private facial or another service you can pay extra for a room facial or room treatment. I also had the eyelash and brow tint as a bar treatment done in the open area. Demi M. did a great job at both and was very helpful in deciding the shade to go with. She did warn me that my eyebrows could be a little much the first day but after showering the dye would wash off my skin and it would look good. She was right they looked great after and lasted about a month, it was nice to not worry about wearing makeup! The bar facial and treatments are nice because they are cheaper than other spas and salons in Louisville. Bethany S and Alexis A both do a wonderful job with the bar facial. Both are very knowledgeable about the skin and explain each step to you. The inside design is also very cute it looks like a Pinterest board all of the decor is very cute. When walking in I was not greeted by the receptionist and waited a couple minutes until she had finished her side conversation, still she never said hello or welcome which made things feel not inviting. I arrived to my 5pm appointment a couple minutes early but was not taken into the back until 5:30pm. I don't think Heather noticed she was running late as there was a client before me. My facial by Heather was amazing. She truly is great at what she does. My face was glowing and extremely clean and soft afterwards. The only down side was that I paid for a 90 min facial but only received a little over 60 mins. Again I don't think Heather knew she was running late from the beginning which would have made up for the last 30 mins. The Brazilian was as painless as possible and quick! It took 10 mins at most. Heather makes conversation the entire time which takes your mind off of the pain. Overall I would return. I loved the services. The issues I had were minimal and can easily be fixed. The front desk employee can learn better customer service since she is the face of the salon and the first and last person the client sees and the services can be timed/scheduled better so clients aren't waiting past their scheduled appointment time and there is still time for the rooms to be re-prepped/sanitized.
